Electronic Arts and Valve have partnered to put EA games into the hands of the players on Steam. Starting next spring, EA Access—our ever-growing subscription service powered by great games and member benefits—will be making its way to Steam. EA Access is the first and only gaming subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform featuring an EA subscription.
The partnership kicks off with Star Wars™ Jedi: Fallen Order launching on November 15—and available for pre-order today. In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims™ 4 and Unravel™ Two. Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends™, FIFA 20, and Battlefield™ V—will become available next year, and players on both Origin™ and Steam will have the ability to play together.

Daniel Ahmad @zhugeex EA says that new Dragon Age from Bioware is in development but likely won't be until after FY22. So after April 2022. New Star Wars title in development that should drop prior to end of FY22.

seb hanlon @hanlsp Well, there was Meredith the cursèd elevator at the old BW building; she’d sometimes get stuck between floors, or drop an extra foot just before you were about to get on or off…
And before someone asks, she was called Meredith because on the DA floor we had life-size vinyls of DA2 character art on the elevator doors; f!Hawke, Cassandra, and Meredith. It was only ever Meredith who misbehaved. Spooky.

There was also some miscommunication between me and design so I put a tent and fire pit where the hermit lived even though he lived inside a tree stump and had no need for either.
The small bed side rugs with two brown strips were designed after ones I had in my family home growing up
All the elven plots take place in levels with the tevinter imperium tileset because the elven tileset was cut very early on in production
There 137 unique levels in the game and about 5 that nearly shipped without art ever looking at them.
The most used asset in the game was the basic ferelden chair.

Sylvf @sylvf1 When I interviewed at BioWare, DA:O had JUST come out 2-3 days ago. I hadn't played it yet, but I could feel the energy in the studio as people realized they'd make something special. Years later, DA had a huge impact on me when I got to write for DAI. Here's to you, Origins!
I'm not exaggerating about that either: the atmosphere in a studio really does change during a release day. Everyone's looking at feedback, or talking among themselves how X or Y is being received. (Or uh...working on patches because games now are huge.) And etc.
