I always felt like those who aligned with how those execs thought did well, while those who fought against it didn't. From my perspective, it's insidious - we SHOULD want to focus on high sales, right? But that focus got greater and greater and felt very different from before.

And it's so weird because I live in perpetual fear of accidentally confirming literally any detail that I'm not allowed to confirm. Me: saw a really cool conversation today! Random person: wait does that mean DAD has words? Me:  Like .. I'm sorry we can't answer all your questions! Even the ones tat seem harmless! The last thing I want to do is say something I shouldn't so 90 per cent of my Twitter is shitposting because I would rather be safe than sorry! I wouldn't even say something like ' can't wait to finally relax after a rough month' because someone will be like 'oh, major milestone? DOES DA COME OUT NEXT WEEK?' So anyways, if you think that vague answers mean anything more than 'I am terrified of accidentally leaking something', they don't. And if you still want to read some ill will into those vague responses, I literally cannot stop you. Like there was literally a time where we released a teaser but I wasn't supposed to actively confirm I was working on a game (that we had just teased).

Every game we make mistakes and every game we try to do better than the last. And in doing better, we'll also make some fresh new mistakes. And we'll keep trying to do better.

The trick to playing DA:2, is you must first defeat the toughest boss of all, Origin…
Isn’t it wild that there is no PC controller support? I’d love to relive the DA2 experience as I did on console, controller in hand, but all my old PlayStations are in storage.

DRAGON AGE Inquisition in UNREAL ENGINE 5: The Storm Coast [UE5]
The Storm Coast! It wasn’t the most fun level to play through, but it did have an amazing atmosphere and texture – the rain, the rolling fog, the ocean crashing into basalt rocks…
This is for my ‘Thedas Magic Mystery World Tour’ where I’m re-creating ... spiritual re-imaginings in the form of little cinematics from the game Dragon Age: Inquisition (originally Frostbite 3) in Unreal Engine 5! Mostly because it’s a more fun way of learning UE5 and getting the hang of the new features like Lumen and Nanite.
