Worth noting: I believe you will find that the base is "lit" this year.

Hm... I don't know, but I think they could have come up with something more Dragon Age-y than a gun for that bling. Mini diamond-encrusted Bianca, or even the Kirkwall sigil.

I agree, they should keep moving forward.

Considering the textures in the Skyrim SE and how those were upscaled, I'd prefer they not bother with that. It looks like shit, for the most part. They took textures that were a given size and resized them (e.g. 1024 to 2048), and applied an effect in whatever image program to hide artifacts from the resize. Some of the images are the same size as the original hi-res texture DLC that was previously available, just baked into the game.

Most of DAO's resources are 512 or lower, with some 1024, 256, and 128. If they have the source images somewhere sitting on a hard drive that are able to be used and sized to a more modern resolution, then that's great, but I somehow doubt it.

Yeah, DA:O came out in 2009, would any remastering effort be worth it short of rebuilding it in Frostbite? That said, there's obviously a lot of assets they could re-purpose from DAI to that end.
