That's not a given in any company, proper or otherwise. That's something that has to be fought for daily, against all of the velocity-first teams that only want their stuff to be stable, everyone else can be damned. So when team A wants an engine improvement that would break team B's backwards compatibility, tough on team B! But he's right that cross-functional stability has to start with the upstream dependency. If the engine team won't hold the line on stability, nobody will. |

thats1evildudeEveryone told me to roll an elven mage and romance Solas as well. At the time, I felt completely apathetic about the Dalish and was planning a Cullen mance, so compromised with a human mage. Then I ended up with Blackwall (broke up after Court) and rebounded to Cullen. I agree with your comment that there is barely anything extra for a romance than a good friend would have gotten. It's takes a lot of head canon for me to get into him.

I can relate to her response about romancing Solas. Imo, once you find "the one" it can be rather difficult to bounce to another romance option during another play through, especially if you find it so endearing. I could never romance anyone apart from Alistair in Origins, barely got through a Fenris romance without feeling like I was abandoning Anders, and every time I create a Solas romance I feel my heart tear when I see Cullen's cheesy, sweet grin. DAI is the only game I've ever completely adored more than one romance, and it isn't easy to leave one behind.

After watching some FFXV gameplay, I hope DA4 does not follow its open world style. It's nice looking but too big. It's tedious doing side quests. The distance from A to B is so far apart that it seems you're spending most of the time riding chocobos or sitting in the car. There is no fast port either (or there might be but most of the time the player is travelling), you are obliged to travel and "enjoy" the scenery. In fact, you can put the car on auto, go and make yourself a sandwich and a cup of coffee. If you're lucky, the car will arrive at the destination when you come back.
