Aye, I suspect the only thing holding it back from official approval is that all of Bioware's staff are so heavily diverted to the other projects right now. Once Andromeda is launched and things are calmed down, they'll probably greenlight DA4 for real. Agreed. I think they have a specific internal milestone they want to hit before they confirm anything. I think Hrungr's right too, I think they are following the Bethesda no-hype, post-NMS playbook for games in development. And the - gaming - world will be better for it. |

Does anyone here still play this...? I played it for the first couple of months it was out before moving on. I do, though it's more one of those automatic habits I do without thinking about. It has come a long way from the early days of release, but there is a certain air of desperation surrounding it these days, imo. I'm sure Capital Games is sweating the fate of the Dragon Age franchise more than any of us, because they're already scraping the barrel in terms of characters they can monetise. I question how much longer they'll be able to keep HoDA alive. |

Mary Kirby @biomarykirby Incidentally, we now need a minimum of one love interest in the next DA named "Lucille." I don't know who GOB is besides some character in Arrested Development which I switched off five minutes into watching. So I can't get into that comparison. What I CAN appreciate is the thinking about DA4. I take any suggestion, however fleeting and insubstantial, of DA4 as canon.  |
