My dad didn't even end up getting to Haven. He couldn't remember how the combat worked at all. He said he woke up very early in the morning once to practice but he just ended up confused. Him not understanding English didn't make it any easier. Poor dad. He was a little broody about that, I think he wanted to surprise me with how far he got.  |

I wanted to get all agents, so I could do some main story quests without worrying that I'd miss one of them. When I go to the war table, then not just to spend Power and leave again, idk that feels like going to a meeting and then, after everyone's there, saying "The meeting is cancelled, we'll meet in a week." I had a teacher do that once. 1 hour train ride to the training school, just to have a teacher say "Your teacher is sick, your class* is cancelled." "Then why are we here?" "To see if you'd all come to school." *in this case, class meant the whole day, cause we had the 4 hours in the morning with the teacher who was sick. |

I guess as much time as I spend running around Skyhold, they can walk the 10+ feet to walk to another part of the same building they're already in for me to discuss plans with them even if i'm not immediately setting out on those plans. If they wanted easier communication, they should have let me carry the War Table with me and have a few birds. |

Years ago I tried to get my Dad to play video games, so we could share more interests. I set him up with Bioshock. ...it was embarrassing. I probably should have been more patient, but my dad couldn't seem to master the idea of moving the analog sticks in different directions at the same time. He could shove them both in one direction, but was totally unable to move more than one at a time in a different direction (After looking down to make sure he was pressing the right one). His coordination was aweful. I think MY frustration might have put him off trying again... |

My dad didn't even end up getting to Haven. He couldn't remember how the combat worked at all. He said he woke up very early in the morning once to practice but he just ended up confused. Him not understanding English didn't make it any easier. Poor dad. He was a little broody about that, I think he wanted to surprise me with how far he got. Years ago I tried to get my Dad to play video games, so we could share more interests. I set him up with Bioshock. ...it was embarrassing. I probably should have been more patient, but my dad couldn't seem to master the idea of moving the analog sticks in different directions at the same time. He could shove them both in one direction, but was totally unable to move more than one at a time in a different direction (After looking down to make sure he was pressing the right one). His coordination was aweful. I think MY frustration might have put him off trying again... I tried that too. Asked my dad what kind of games he'd like to play, so I'd get someone to play with. He replied "A Racer." Okay, bought Need for Speed Underground for the PS2, even leveled him a car so he wouldn't have to. He never played it, not even took the controler to try it.  So I got stuck with a Racing game that bored me.  (the only Racer I love to play is Mario Kart  ) Tried to get him to play DAO, but he said it was too complicated, just by watching me play it.  (also he doesn't like to read and probably wouldn't have cared for the dialogues at all.) He does play flash games on his iPad tho. |
