I am so sick and tired of having to reload twice. :rage: I'm not talking about cancelling the reload process a cunt-hair too early with a dodge/power/jump/sprint and having to do it again because I mis-timed my next action. I'm talking about reloading, trying to shoot (sometimes shooting once or twice), then having to reload again for some reason. It's clearly an off-host issuebut holy fuck does it destroy one's DPS. Video proof is on my Twitch, just watch the gameplay - link in sig. Anybody else please chime in if it's a thing or if it's just me. :rage:

Same sync issue as it was in ME3 then, where it could be affected by lag, and clips could be eventually manually desynced if you modded the rate of fire or clip sizes on guns.
But is it that common here? I don't remember this being a real issue in normal ME3 games.

The lack of reload cancel bothers me a lot too... I was using a Widow in my HI and I realized how bad it is without RC

I beleive you are correct. That might be the strange behavior I noticed with the Talon I made another thread about.
There seems to be a...hiccup, for lack of a better word in the shoot, reload, keep shooting process.
It is NOT smooth by any means, and that is not even considering a reload cancel.
I'm talking about just standard play. The mechanics seem hokey right now.

I'm on the fence about getting this game - but it looks like I am leaning towards not getting it. Same here... didn't buy it after the trial because right now it's just full of bugs and hiccups. Combine that with the horrible UI, the lackluster enemy factions (compared to ME3) and the obvious attempt to get more people into microtransactions (because not only weapons can be UR now but also characters and equipment and it's a bigger grindfest than ever). And I won't even mention the SP because if at least that was any good I'd have probably bought the game.

I'm on the fence about getting this game - but it looks like I am leaning towards not getting it. The frustrating thing is it has the potential to be a huge step up from ME3. But there are so many annoying bugs that just frustrate you. I ran into an issue in SP yesterday (yeah, I know) where they don't let you save during important missions. I'm supposed to pick up a Viper, I want that Viper because there is a huge fight coming. Nothing happens. I don't know if I got it, I can't figure out how to equip it if I did get it. Is it a bug? Is it the mess of a UI? Who knows? There are so many changes, so little documentation, so many questionable design decisions, and so many bugs that you want to pull out your hair. If you haven't bought yet, I would wait to see if anything gets patched.

Especially when you couple it with the fact they had so much time to work on this. The friggin' Manhattan Project took less time (seriously). If they came out with this back in 2014 or 2015 I think people would be more forgiving, since they got it out ASAP to the players. But the fact they took 5 years to release with less than stunning graphics, buggy gameplay and other oddities is just....."problematic".

the obvious attempt to get more people into microtransactions (because not only weapons can be UR now but also characters and equipment and it's a bigger grindfest than ever) This is what bothers me the most, tbh. How many headshots does it take to take down a silver mook with a level X common weapon? Yes, I am using consumables, thank you. You cannot make enough credits to level your rares in a reasonable amount of time playing bronze. Your maxed commons or low level uncommons do laughable damage on silver, you are better off using harsh language. The solution? BUY BIOWER POINTS! Oh, wait, no, Biower points are no good no more. Buy the fake currency of the day in bundles designed just so that you have some amount left that you cannot spend unless you buy more. genius.jpg And I bought the ultra super deluxe pro edition. Yes, I am retarded.

After a quick look at the characters and their powers I noticed an alarming lack of debuffs. No warp, no proximity mine, no tactical scan, no biotic sphere, no warp, no recon mine, no sabotage... did I mention NO WARP?! Only thing that comes close is that cryo beam VS armor. Also I just learned while typing this comment that the ultra rare Salarian Operator has Invasion which seems to be hands down the one, only and best debuffer in the game.

TSol passive 6A is a 2% per shot debuff that stacks up to 24%. Description doesn't state duration, but I doubt it's permanent. Warp... maybe in Andromeda 2.

I'm on the fence about getting this game - but it looks like I am leaning towards not getting it. I'd say get it but don't waste money on the deluxe versions just yet. Get the regular and if you like it, then the stores, the digital ones, always lets you upgrade to the deluxe ones for a small fee later on but for now I don't think it's worth it. I feel as if all the characters in sp, including your own are teenagers. What the hell was Bioware thinking?!

It will cost $4.99. However, that unlocks a discount on the SDE so it will only be $89.99. Also, points are discounted as well. Just make sure you cancel EA Access when you are done. Unless you wanted to keep it, of course.

I'm not sure we are on the same page. I took a leap of faith with ME3 - and what I got for that leap was a titanical dogfart of Epic proportions that left a crater in my game room floor the size of Jupiter and smatterings all over the crown molding. Pre-ordering means no returns - I learned it the hard way. No more leaps for BioWare ever again. Once burned twice shy. Even if they made two more really good games in a row, I'm not going to pre-order because they sure don't know how to end a series or even why I play.
That being said, if I am going to get this game it will be after real peer review of the game and if and only if (IFF if you like mathematical statements) this game is a real gem. I want an engrossing and catchy story that pulls me in and MP that is an absolute blast that keeps me wanting more. I STILL ME3MP because it is addictively fun and some part of me will not let the MEU go. I still ME1 and ME2 because of the era, the story and the feeling of being part of the Galactic Civilization.
I'm willing to take my time before I pull the trigger. I'm hoping they will get it right, though. I'm not bashing on BioWare, I'm just not willing to go out on a limb here. As far as playing as a snot-nosed teenager..... I'm not feeling it. Maybe I'm getting old, but I don't feel old
