Fun for sure, although I'm surprised by how little the setup has changed from ME3MP. I was expecting bigger, more dynamic maps and occasional divergence from horde mode.

It's fun. But I do miss the glorious sight of a pair of coordinated Asari commandos wrecking the map with biotic explosion every few seconds. I would just turn up the bass on my headphones and witness in awe. BEs need more oomph in MEA in my opinion, both in sound and effect.

I wish I could import my ME3 manifest. It would have been really nice if weapons that were at least a 5 in ME would have unlocked a 1 in this game. Too much to ask, I guess. Eh... While I'm not a fan of companies lining their pockets at the expense of the players, they would have lost a lot of money if they did that I'd bet. A LOT of people running around with ultra rare gear and kits. That's all from buying points. And I'm looking forward to good future content in the mp. |

I've been grinding it out the last 3 days in MP w/ a human soldier. Love it so far, and the black screens have gotten better. Last night I was feeling feisty and jumped into my 1st Silver match. The pucker factor was high. Honestly, I think my eyes were closed most of the game. It went smooth and somehow we made a full extraction. Did 3 more today with the same success. Players seem to be figuring it out quick, and working well as a team. Probably relying on an Isharay-1 too much, but with mods it 1 shots the scrub adds. I plan on grinding it through today while my strike goes out to do my dirty work, and boost up my SP arsenal before continuing with the campaign. Gold level is still probably a week out. Not ready to tackle that beast. And still no ultra rares.  |

Sort of. The lack of evolution and choice is depressing me. Gender/race locked characters in 2017? Why? Seeing the god awful reincarnation of the warlord destroyed me. A half assed, gender locked character with no unique powers.
The gameplay is barely improved over ME 3 and apparently bioware still think OHKs are an acceptable, interesting way of increasing challenge when it's the complete opposite. The Destroyer is an interesting, challenging enemy. The feind and ascendant are bullshit.
The game is fun if you block out memories or expectations from the previous games.

Gotta say that I'm having a blast in the new multiplayer. It is fun! Maybe the caveat is: for the time being. I have about 215 hours in ME:3 MP, and maybe 12 hours in ME:A MP. I can see doing this for a while. It's been about as good as I expected with some issues that bug me (can't have perfection I guess). Here is to everyone having as much fun as they hoped. Bugs aside, I'm having a blast. The mobility--I 😍. |

I'm having fun with it. I'm on PS4 and have had no connection issues thus far. As far as bugs, I'm so stupid I wouldn't know what 95% of them where if they hit me in the face. To me, it's the same as ME3 in many ways, but enough differences. Once I got over the button bullshit, I've played better. Still screwing up ops pack with ammo pack though

On PS4 I've only had 1 DC and minimal lagging off host. I hate to say it(notreally)but I think the red-headed step-children of the gaming world has gotten the best of this deal so far.

It's hard to find people running Apex missions or is it just me? Try to join a match. I hear hosting your own is problematic at the moment as the matchmaking matrix put these in the queue behind standard Quick Match. This seems to have improved today at least on xbone |

I genuinely do not know.
- rubberbanding, VOIP is shite, you collide to allied players, you lose momentum when you touch a wall, the animations are slow and sluggish making the controls flighty BS, peer to peer connections are about as BS as they were in ME3MP, everytime I change a fucking weapon mod the server apparently has to know about it, the UIs are frustrating as fuck, melee is EXTREMELY shit and my GTX 660 cannot keep a steady 60 fps no matter the settings.
And I'm still going to play it because at least shotguns / snipers are fun.
What I'm baffled about is that all of these issues were in ME3MP. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT FIX 5 YEAR OLD ISSUES FOR YOU NEXT BLOODY MULTIPLAYER. WHAT THE FUCK?!

In other news I'm having fun until there's no teamwork and you get downed trying to do 1/4 and one of your teammates comes over and instead of reviving you, he tries to do the 1/4 and dies three times getting revived by a teammate on the other side of the map until I bleed out. I'm like WTF - I'm RIGHT HERE??? We fail the missing. 95% of the time, yes - having fun. That moment when you've solo capped x2 Uploads, and the pugs have been in the 3rd Upload the entire time and it's still not completed... |
