ME3 Multiplayer Map Survey

You know what I think this is a great time to confess that I really hate Firebase Ghost. All it does is make me want to ragemissile everything.

Edit: And especially against Collecturds. No matter where you are it seems like there is a Possessed Ski-awn flawless shot projectile pooping grenades on you

Reactor Hazard - Get roasted!
Giant - Completed my first gold solo on it, nuff said.
Ghost - Round and round he goes!
Goddess - For Thessia!
London - For constantly fucking up my solos!

For me it's actually Collector's F*****g Hazard Dagger, so you can't see a F*****g thing  . God, I hate that map...

Condor, Rain Ghost, Goddess are my votes.

Not very original perhaps, but ... *shrug*

Not sure how many noticed this, but Raining Ghost has one flaw that prevents me from having the always raining mod on anymore. Being out in the rain causes constant screen shake. Otherwise it's still a favourite map of mine due to excellent atmosphere. That and both versions have enough Platinum double supply ammo boxes that basically fill you up in one go without having to wait for it to refill (ie. out of 4, only the indoor one doesn't do this, I think?...).

Pleased to say I struggled to choose only five. So many maps have so much going for them. Even the ones I'd never choose as favourites - like Rio, or Condor *shudders* - have their own selling points.

The maps I like least are the ones with dull colour palettes: Condo, Vancouver, London being the worst for greyness, even though I can't claim I don't enjoy playing on them. Glacier loses out on a top spot for me because it's so grey.

White, on the other hand, isn't colourful, but it's so sparkly and clean. I love what they did to it in that one DLC also. Goddess is beautiful and, for such a compact map, has a nice layout. Ghost in the rain is so poetic, it's like playing ME3 at the end of Blade Runner.

Rio is just tedious, but perhaps that's because we're so used to rushing about being somewhat OP and nuking stuff and we just get impatient when we have to wait, or when other players get to the spawns before us and beat our score :] Really though, I'd love to try some chilled out teamplay-focused games on Rio.

My top five were:
White (default) (although by that I mean post-DLC default)
Goddess
Glacier (default) (although I prefer pre-DLC default) - can't beat it for a fast-paced sugar rush
Ghost (both) - just a great map design, and the rain version is pretty

Edit: weirdly I don't remember Reactor ever not being hazard. I just vaguely thought you could always press the button to deep fry teamma^H^H^H enemies.

Modern White - best map in the game. You can snipe, CQC, melee, whatever - it supports pretty much any play style and 2 nade boxes.

Glacier - CQC favor. Like it for fast games and tense moments when you're getting squeezed

Jade - beautiful map, fun to play. Can be deadly (especially Geth) Some 4 objective locations are custom made to piss you off

Giant - n00b friendly, can snipe, CQC or melee due to many "compartments" that shield you from long range attacks. Drab color palette though, but it's Tuchanka, soooo....

Dagger - similar to Giant. I like it a little better than Ghost or Reactor, but these 3 are neck and neck.

Honorable mention - Goddess, pretty good all around, but somethings missing.

Vancouver - bland, uninteresting, weird layout with pointless ramps.

London. Not too bad, but the colors are dull, the cover is unreliable

Condor - buggy, cover is garbage, enemies thread needles trough every gap possible and impossible.

Rio - fine if you're a sniper/long range capable. But if you want to melee or COC Vanguard on something like Platinum - forget it. Open lanes pretty much deny you any movement. You'll get staggered and moved down in an instant. One side of the map is unusable, because you have that stupid sun blinding you.

Hydra, again - favors snipers and kinda forces you to stay on top and never go play "in the yard"

Well that would take a top spot instantly. But too bad we have no Omega map with strippers dancing in the backround
