I haven't seen any threads like this, I'm trying to figure out which guns are the best in multi-player. So far I have these weapons;
Assault Rifles
Avenger
Revenant
Sweeper
Thokin
Sniper
Incisors
Isharay
M-90 INDRA
N7 Valiant
Shadow
Viper
Pistols
N7 HURRICANE
Equalizer
Scorpion
Charger
Shotguns
Venom
Kahana
I bought a bunch of andromeda points for $20 and got most of my weapons that way. Thank you ahead of time for your advice

For me the best pistol is the Hurricane. The best AR is the Thokin.

Where is the Widow and raptor? They tear everything up. Also, the vanquisher is a lot better then the Viper. I have a Viper X and a Vanquisher 1, and the vanquisher hits harder and has more ammo.

I have the Dhan shotgun and it's at least viable on gold on an infiltrator. Probably the best shotgun I've tried along with talon. Used those 2 a lot on silver as well on non infiltrators and they were decent, + 100% cooldowns. Haven't tried hesh/piranha. But I think those could be pretty good on human infiltrator due to the accuracy boosting passives they can get.
Many of the snipers are good. Isharay, vanquisher and Lanat are probably the best tbh. Black widow is a bit weird, it's stats are not really good compared to vanquisher. Barely does more damage but 1 less shot in the mag and worse fire rate. Widow is solid for infiltrators albeit clunky and just worse in every way compared to the isharay.
I've tried a bunch of the AR's including the soned and the valkyrie. Valkyrie is absolutely terrible. Most of the AR's are quite bad imo, except the falcon.
Talon is a good pistol, equalizer is pretty good too. Haven't tried sidewinder or Hurricane.

Here is my dilemma. I have an Isharay 1 and a Widow X. I am not sure which one to use atm because the Widow X is more powerful then Isharay 1.

Isharay is basically Andromeda's version of the Javalin. Widow is still pretty good too. Haven't bothered with the others. I hear the Raptor is really good now. Can't wait to get one to try it. Valiant is very different now. Sounds better, 5 ammo clip, but still takes multi shots to kill an enemy like me3.
Best pistol so far, Hurricane and Talon, as expected. I also got the Ushior. Feels like a weak hand held sniper with one shot clip and long reload. Not impressed at level 1. Sounds like a wimper also. Maybe at level 10, it'll be awesome.
Shotgun, well, my opinion is I'd rather take the Talon into a fight.
Good assault rifle? I think Bioware forgot and left them in the Milky Way or RNG hasn't given me a good one yet. The sandstorm is not bad. It has the not so fun, cramp inducing one shot mechanism as the mattock. Who wants to click on the mouse button 10 times within 2 sec to take down one enemy?

Let biotics and tanks get up close and personal. I hack, revive, and snipe high priority targets, or help thin the herd. It's all up to playstyle. Seldom will I be #1 in the match, but I try to help wherever I can, and that works for me. I've gotten more used to leading for moving targets, and where exactly to shoot for weak point bonuses. Nothing like killing a tough enemy one shot, and seeing people stop, turn around, and look at my character like  |

I would say the Lanat is better then the Vanquisher. Its not. Lanat you get 2 shots that you have to charge. By the time you charge, the vanquisher would of killed your target and the guy beside him. But it takes more shots to kill though while the Lanat does it in one. The vanquisher lacks OHK stopping power. |
