I played each one of the MET so many times, I don't think I have any desire to do them again. And, despite my gripes with the present combat system, I'd find it hard to go back to the old ones.

Nope, but I just did a playthrough before MEA came out... maybe I'll do another one later this year... after replaying TW3 from scratch... and Nier Automata... and maybe DoW3... f*ck, so many games to play.

I have played ME 1-3 before starting ME:A. I have played ME:A for around 35 hours now, and am still on the 3th planet (Jungle one). I am one of those players that takes his time and does explore anything. So far I really have a great time. So - No, I am absolutely not disappointed.
Will I go back to ME 1-3 to play it again? Probably not. I think they where great games at their time, but that story is finished now. No need to keep repeating it. It's time for a fresh (re)start, and I think ME:A is that fresh (re)start. I really hope ME:A does well enough to get a follow-up, but that's very early to wish for now. I certainly hope there will be (expansion)DLC's in the near future.
So there you have it. I am not disappointed, and I will not replay the older Mass Effect games.

I played through the trilogy during the run up to ME:A coming out. Unfortunately, that's made some of the disappointment worse, because it's not a rose colored glasses to now comparison, it's an apples to apples comparison.
Currently I'm in the same place I was with DA2, not playing because I'm having fun, or engaged in the story, but because I just want to see the how the colonies turn out, and I paid $60 for it. I have technical and story issues with the game, some of the bugs have made the game not fun to play at times.

I won't touch ME1 and ME3 again, even though their quality in many respects are better than ME:A, i am more likely to play ME:A again.... Esp, if planetary travel becomes faster/fluid.

No, but that's for any particular reason.
Got TW3 and FO4 to complete. Guess I'll slog my way through those games.

No.
Despite Mass Effect Andromeda's score and lack of polish, it's still superior overall to last three games. And I tried replaying ME3 before the launch of MEA and the ME3 combat and controls are terrible compared to today's standards. Male Shepard reminds me of a pediphile for some reason now and the characters are about as dull and boring as cardboard. Even hearing Liara in Andromeda reminds me how robotic most people in the OT sound.
MEA is a breath of fresh, imperfect air with the right amount of the original game's nostalgia

Well, I fed up with all this talking about Mass Effect ) I don't care anymore is it or was it any good. May be It's time for everybody to shut up and move on. You like it? Good, enjoy it. You hate it? Good, enjoy other games. But why you can not just shut up for two weeks already about the same shit?

I didn't want to get Andromeda for various reasons (basically I'm waiting for more updates for it to be 'as polished as possible' before deciding whether I still want it), so I replayed ME:2 and ME:3 to stave off that itch.
Turns out the fond memories of ME:2 were pretty much meh the second time I played it. From what I recalled, it played like it was many, many times better than ME:1 because there was no repeat usage of planets exploration. ME:1 felt like many planets were the same, and it bored the heck out of me. ME:3's ending was so shockingly bad that I actually abstained from getting Andromeda because I'm afraid of that letdown.
Scanning the ME:2 planets for resources and mini games were thankfully shortened thanks to mods. Gameplay wise, the combat has really dulled thanks to newer shooter games. ME:3's combat is the best out of the three, and I'm sure Andromeda is going to be even better.
The whole ME:2 game was 'get to know your allies super well or hell will break lose' because of how it tied in with the suicide mission. They let us find out what's beyond omega 4, and they let us get a glimpse of what reapers were doing by showing the human reaper. That's basically it. There wasn't really a grand reveal or plot heavy movement, but the level of success was there mainly because of how good the suicide mission was.
When I reflected things on ME:3's plot and knowing what the ending was, I realized that ME:2 was actually plot thin and incredibly hype heavy. There was some circular logic and crazy rubbish on ME:3 initial ending when Bioware didn't release their extended ending mod (I refreshed my memories with youtube videos).
The star child really destroyed everything for me. It was like watching and listening to the best troll logic, and made me realize that ME:2 was a bunch of last wish checklist for my allies. The entire ME:3 plot was paper thin, because at the end of the day it's 'we harvest machines and the living so the cycle of living can continue'. What the actual heck.
But in conclusion, I now believe that the mass effect series is actually less impressive than my memories hold. I guess I was impressed with the bells and whistles the first time, but the subsequent playthrough made me realize there were numerous flaws. I think I still enjoy it but at this point of time, I rather move on for a new IP.
I have no doubt that Andromeda has improvements over certain sections, but it looks like there are still plenty of flaws again.

Nope, loving Andromeda so far! My only gripe at the moment is the constant disconnecting from MP, they need to fix that!

I'm still at the very beginning of the game, but so far I'm liking it - I do not understand the people saying it "doesn't feel like Mass Effect", because to me it really does. I love the OT, but I have accepted that this is NOT Shepard's story and I'm embracing it to the fullest (I'm pretty happy knowing my Shepard is relaxing on a tropical island somewhere with Garrus). Does this mean that I'm happy with every change they did in MEA? Nope, but if developers never tried anything new our games would still be stuck in the 90's and we would probably never have got Mass Effect at all. I feel exactly the same way, except my Shep is off having little blue babies with Liara (see my Avatar and Signature ). I did try to playthrough the OT but got couldnt complete 1 and 2...not sure if my own personal hype for MEA tarnished the experience or maybe I didnt pick the right class....but I did get an almost complete ME3 run in, MEA dropped just I started the Cerberus Base mission...but I did play the Citadel DLC combat mish right before I started playing MEA. Im sure to go back...I did discover/install all the texture mods for the OT which makes a big difference, especially to ME1

No! I like the new game and there are some quests that feel very much like Mass Effect, others are different but that's good too. I played the OT many times, and after the last play-through I don't feel like playing again anytime soon, although I'm sure it will change eventually too. I like the fresh start so much. In ME3, I felt the overwhelming responsibility on Shepard, who had to deal with everything in the galaxy, from uniting species to saving students, and towards the end I really felt like her death was just necessary... just to let her rest finally, because there's only so much one person can take, even if it's Shepard. Then of course the star kid destroyed everything but that's a different story. So while I love MET, I'm happy with starting again, and sometimes while playing I think about all the characters from the OT who are probably long gone by now (well except Liara I guess), and I wonder how Garrus's life turned out after he had lost Shepard... All in all, I'm enjoying my new start and for a while I'm not going back to the OT!
