That might be even more accurate than the ball-sack thing now that you mention it.

But I could totally get beyond that if they just changed the coloring. I do like the character, but ugh that vein-y pink.

Ya the pink/blue combo isn't working for me at all. Actually the whole Angara design is a bit iffy, but the extra effort they have made for Jaal to make him a distinct character makes him look worse than the Angara around him.

There is that one Angaran on Havarl that you make remember things (don't remember his name) but he's like all grey and black and looks pretty damn cool. So i can get over the shape, but the color is killing me.

He sounds like he has a permanent cold.. there is something very wet, snorty and sniffly about his speech that occasionally makes me cringe. All thats said I don't think the character is awful, I like his writing a lot, if only it could come out of a different face and voice.
