I guess cause he is the second most prevalent angara and they thought we might notice if he looked the same as Jaal lol. I am really curious if Bioware knew they made him more attractive than Jaal or if it was unintentional.

Pretty much. Been drawing him and Jaal for so long and at least I can tell the differences. Its like SecondLight said, he is an important figure and it would be odd if he looks like Jaal but in blue lol I think Bioware didnt notice Evfra is hotter than Jaal lul

I don't think it has anything to do with his face or looks in general, his character simply ticks a lot of the right boxes:

- He is the leader of the resistance, and who doesn't like men in charge? Power is always sexy.
- He has a sad past that makes you care for him. (no diplomatic incidents, Ryder, so no cuddling! :ytho:

- I had to google the term tsundere, but it fits. His grumpy demeanor and hints he might actually be a decent guy let him look more attractive as if he had been friendly straight away.

Don't tell me the writer did that by accident. It would be really mean if Bioware didn't have plans for him in the future.

It wouldn't be odd if they gave Evfra a generic clone face, because he is important, but still just an NPC. Jaal on the other hand is a squadmate, and yet he is the one with a clone face. This is what seems so odd to me.

Also, no, Bio didn't notice for sure, they never do =D I am always falling for NPC and other side characters in their games lol

I live on the Jaal thread but I'm definitely pan-angara and long story short I've been writing an Evfra angst fic (f!Ryder x Evfra to be exact) with heavy plot-emphasis and whatnot for the past fortnight, and not long after posting chapter 13 I suddenly realized that I haven't actually shared my Evfra fic... with Evfra fans, unless you also live on the Jaal thread like me.

I love how grumpy Evfra looks in the first 2 lol. It's so cute - happy Jaal does finally coax a smile in that last one

Thanks! Whenever I draw Evfra smiling it feels a bit out of characer. But I mean, he is faced with a naked, happy Jaal probably saying something cute and sappy, as he is wont to do. Evfra's not made of stone, either. Well, I think not, anyway...
