Oh man, Samantha Traynor is one of my favorite characters of all time. Mass Effect 3 was not only the first Bioware game I played, but the first RPG (other than like, World of Warcraft.) I was around 16 and didn't even know romance was an option in the game. I just agreed with everything Traynor said because I wanted to be on everyone's good side, plus holy sh*t she was exactly my type. Before long, my Shepard, Anatoly (did I mention that my sense of humor was even stupider back then), found herself in a relationship with the specialist. As the game went on I realized, oh, I'm attracted to her. I kind of felt like I was allowed to because she wasn't real and the fact that I was attracted to real women was too scary to think about. Anyway, sappy story short, the Traynor romance is one of the things that made me realize that it was okay that I wanted my life (house with the white picket fence, dog, and two kids all included) to be shared with a woman. So, yeah, Traynor's got a special place in my heart.

If you two push for it hard enough in ME:A2 can Specialist Traynor fall through a swirly thing in space and land in Andromeda? We need this.

OK. What were they're thinking about the shower scene where she's wearing her underwear??? They might as well show her naked body to make it authentic. What a bunch of scaredy cats.....

I don't think they ever showed full nudity in the original trilogy. Besides her underwear doesn't leave much to the imagination.

From a few posts I've read, however long ago, there wasn't to be underwear, but because something, something, it didn't workout. It would not have been hard to have, as you say the camera angled a certain way, or have steam cover up certain parts. I'm not worried about it. Maybe when they remake the trilogy, that will be fixed.

I don't see what's wrong with a naked body and I don't know why people are making a big deal out of it.

I completely agree, good camera angles would have been much better than underwear. I mean they used that for Liara so I imagine they could do it for Sam too

It seems to me that they're breaking away from this trend of underwear everywhere if we're looking at DAI and I haven't played but I think MEA does too. So hopefully we won't be seeing people showering or having sex or something with their clothes on anymore. I find that it makes the scenes very awkward.

I've basically given up on Andromeda, at least for now (I know, I know, I'm terrible ) and have gone back to the OT. Planning a full run on the XB1. Was playing around with my save files, seeing what I have and doing random bits and pieces in all 3 games. I was delighted to see that I had a save for ME3 just before the Citadel DLC, so I was playing through that last night. The conversation between Traynor, EDI and Tali is seriously one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in any media, let alone a game. Never fails to crack me up. Sam is just adorable. Sadly, Shep was long taken by Liara. Still always have to pause and think at that shower invite tho.

If there's a sequel to ME3, maybe Sam can be a squadmate. Looking at her VA, I say AWR would be ok with that.

After doing the Tuchanka missions, I went back to the Citadel, defeated Udina and the Cerberus plot, and then took possession of Anderson's apartment. My Fem-Shep then looks over her email and responds to Joker's email about joining him at the sushi bar - and kicks off the evil clone plot. Afterwards, there's talk of a party and my Fem-Shep meets Traynor at the arcade. I've read she's supposed to send Shepard an email that allows Shepard to invite Traynor over for the hot tub scene but so far nothing. What did I do wrong? I assume having the party cuts off the possibility of this scene generating. What do I do now?

I did the party and saw that ends shore leave, so I went back to an earlier save (had to do the clone fight all over again). I'm now trying to do all the Citadel side quests. I assume the moment I leave, many will become undo-able. For future PTs, is it better to hold off doing things at Anderson's apartment until later in the game? Perhaps go back on space missions immediately after the attack on the Citadel?

I don't even start shore leave until after Horizon. Then I do everything, finishing with the party and heading off to Cronus.
