I unlocked this thing earlier and holy crap is it bad. It has 1 shot in the magazine and reloads about as fast as a widow but unlike the widow that does 1000+ damage this one does barely above 500. Just lol, what the hell where they thinking when they put this thing in multplayer with these stats?
It's basically like if you took the me3 paladin and gave it 1 shot in the magazine, and then also made the reload really slow. Does that sound good to you, no not to me either.
N7 valkyrie is another troll ultra rare, incredibly bad.
It's frustrating that we have trash weapons like these dilluting the loot pool and getting in the way of getting the actual good ultra rares. If you're gonna make something ultra rare status at least try to make it somewhat good. This weapon is so bad and you only need to take 1 look at the numbers to see why, obviosuly a widow with half it's damage would be trash and so is this pistol.
Plz buff by like 100% bioware and do the same thing to the valkyrie.

Damn it, my valkyrie is at level 3! Complete waste of black cards. Worst weapon ever. I believe it was my first ultra rare in this game, tried it one game in bronze and even in bronze it was so bad. This pistol is incredibly useless as well though, I don't know why anyone would ever want to pick this. I seriosuly wonder if they just threw in some random numbers for some of these guns and then were like, yeah, this is probably good. There is no way they playtested these guns and thought they felt decent to use. |

I have both of these - can confirm terribad. Ushior needs to reload 5x faster and Valkyrie needs its damage from story mode and all recoil removed.
Left feedback in the sticky balancing thread, you may want to do the same.

Disappointed to hear the Valkyrie is underwhelming, it was one of my favorites AR's in 3 and I was looking forward to unlocking it. Here's hoping it's buffed by the time I get it.

If you had extensevily user-tested this game as much as Bioware you'd have thir wisdom and see why a single bullet high reload pistol deals a lot less damage than the uncommon Widow. You just cannot comprehend with such a shallow look at this situation.
pls extensivily test more before sounding like a fool at the forums

Is it me or weapons that are perfectly fine on SP feel like garbage on MP? I cant understand what kind of balance have Bioware done with multi player, it's like they nerfed everything to the ground

Most of the weapons in the game are bad. If you think N7 weapons will save you once you get them, you're wrong. The best weapons are primarily uncommon and rare snipers and pistols. I haven't found a shotgun worth a crap, Disciple is the closest, and Scattershot is fun in bronze. There are about 2 decent assault rifles, and one of them is a nade launcher (lel). The guns are either pathetically weak (90% of them) or broken OP like most sniper class weapons which really makes the other weapons feel pointless. Almost every game I'm in has the other 3 people standing on a roof sniping with Vanquisher, Widow/BW or Lanat. So boring--also making playing a non-sniper little fun because by the time you reach an enemy 3 other dudes have headshot it with their OP class of weapon.

How about they buff everything else up to where it should be, and leave Snipers alone since they are not OP. Snipers should be that powerful. The issue is everything else is just lackluster.

About "OP" snipers, you guys remember if on me3 the widow couldn't headshot kill a cannibal or Cerberus trooper on gold? Cuz the widow can't do this to an outlaw trooper and it's one of the "OP" weapons

It still allows for less time exposed to enemy fire. However the balancing of many weapons does feel of. So it ain´t outlandish to assume this one is bad as well. |
