I haven't experience any game breaking faults so making a claim like that subjective as well just like all the "other crap" you mention? OMG. So your saying people don't have the black-screen glitch on PS4? Again with negating someones gripe because you don't have that issue. Blocked. Sigh. just trying to imply that not everyone is having the exact same issues. Edit: The thing is that this kinda demonstrates my problem with any gaming community. If something is said that another doesn't like or there is different opinion on the game people go from 0 to FTL instantaneously. Instead of trying to understand the problems or see beyond them while still being honest about the problems it becomes people yelling at one another.

sorry guys, but this game is boring. i got 100hours, the side quests are tedious, the interactions with crew is lack luster, you are set on settling 4 planets out of a dozen systems, you cant fight the kett head on, you only have 2 real enemies kett & bandits (from milky way), Cant skip cut scenes, you spend more time driving around then you do anything else despite every 2 bit pirate having a shuttle. For some reason i was expecting way way more from this game, but i just feel really really dissapointed. Its like watching an anime/reading a book and then getting to the end but there isnt a real ending, its just dropped like a used condom. odd analogy but, it is what it is. 4-5 armor types, guns are weak, only 3 skils you can use at any 1 time......

I'd ask my money back if it would be possible. I'll play trough the single once, but no way in hell, im gonna touch it one more. I was already bored with the whole game after EOS, now after Voeld im even more bored. I don't even care about the conversations or characters, everything seems completely flat and uninteresting and that was never the case by the trilogy.

I enjoyed Black Flag and Unity (once patched) more than Andromeda They know how to build cities, "patched" Paris is fantastic; in the meantime BioWare is still struggling to make people move like normal human beings in "hubs".

The problem with this game is, it lets you waste time in unnecessary things, and tries to get you playing it for many hours. Nice Trick Bioware and EA

"Is still struggling" its been 8 days dude. How long did it take till Ubisoft even gave people faces? ubisoft games do tend to look good, but they're quite repetitive since they never make the sequels really differ in gameplay. Part of why I stopped with black flag.

I mean cmon how did Bioware mess up this game, after giving DA:I. I can omit the bugs, save problems, but the lack of enemies and repetitive vaults and BOSSES were a big let down, also the lack of weapons and armors is greatly disappointing. When EA announced it on 2015, they were saying "WITNESS THIS", but the love for making this game wasn't even there in the first place. You realize there are 8 sets of armor. 5 sets have 3 different aesthetic appearances, and 3 have one set appearance. That makes 18 sets of armor that can mostly be mixed and matched.

They don't move, they don't live, they have the same pattern over and over. Towns are dead cities.

They don't move, they don't live, they have the same pattern over and over. Towns are dead cities. Perhaps if biowares games were featured around cities they'd be more live? I've never cared for the hubs being alive as you're only there to talk and move into the next missions. The only exception I'd give is DA:II (was an awful game) as it was featured exclusively in a city. Nevertheless assassins creed and bioware have completely different priorities on what gets worked the most. Assassins creed has always been about cities and bioware focus more on space exploration, dragon age I can't legitimately give you one argument for because none of the dragon age games resemble the previous ones, they're all over the place in terms of focus. So I concede your point on hubs and cities being lifeless (in terms of movement but they're quite active when it comes to just general talking)for bioware but so long as other elements are top tier I can let it slide.

One game failed to meet your sky high expectations and you guys just started bashing. Lol
Ubisoft also make good games. I like For Honor and Ghost Recon Wildlands and i Like Mass Effect Andromeda as well.
You know why I like these games? I keep my expectations in check and don't let internet affect my Judgement. I don't expect them to be perfect. Iam fine as long game is fun.

Seems like a lot of people let hype overtake any sort of rationality and then unleash an ugly amount of scorn once what they imagined doesn't come to fruition.

Seems like a lot of people let hype overtake any sort of rationality and then unleash an ugly amount of scorn once what they imagined doesn't come to fruition. *has facial animations that don't even meet industry standard *has story telling that contradicts itself and the lore as well as a lack of expanding in certain points and plots *has a character preset system rather than an actual character creator that bioware itself hyped up on when it came to "options" *has a disorganized UI all over the place i wasnt expecting the best game of all time but i was expecting a top quality bioware game. These are the guys I always bragged about when on other gaming forums. This game while good and fun underachieved and just makes people question the bragging. It has aspects I like that I wished ME2-3 did, but it also added aspects I liked the ideas of but failed in execution I.E. the crafting+inventory system. simply put, whohas the right to judge ones expectations or say it's to high? As I stated earlier, I wasn't expecting the "greatest game ever", but I expected a quality bioware game. This game is deserving of its scores and criticism as they're legit reasons. The animations are worse than industry standard, the story doesn't seem like it was made by a bioware writer (you know, cuz bioware tends to be one of the best story games out there). Bioware also hyped up the character creation quite a bit on their twitter and this current one really doesn't show why we should've been excited. Let's also not ignore the fact it had a 5 year dev cycle, longer than most games out there, you'd expect a good game if it's getting that much time to work out the kinks. you could say people have such high expectations, I could then say some accept mediocrity, can go both ways.

I find it amazing that we are supposed, as customers, to look past the faults that could be avoided, in order to enjoy games. Pay money to the publishers for low quality gaming and ne thankful for it too.
We are the ones who made Ubisoft as it is because we just kept buying their broken, uninispiring games. Do not spend money on games like MEA and you will see improvements. It is a very simple rule but none of us can make it happen because we are just too fanboyistic.
We actually convince ourselves that MEA is a great game that needs some minor improvements in order to feed this addiction. It is sad, really.

sorry guys, but this game is boring. i got 100hours It was so boring you played for 100 hours? yea, i kept hoping it would get better or something truly amazing will just pop up. I kept thinking that maybe ill get some cool rare weapons or armor or maybe ill get to fuck up some kett. I personally shot that Kett douch in the chapel and i felt good doing it. I kept hoping there will be more cool moments like that where your character does exactly what you wish you could do (the player) That was probably the highlight of my entire experience. When my character said " i will mess your shit up" and then i got the option to shoot the douch in the back. Other then that.....yea those 100 hours feel more like 50 of actual game play. Everything else was travel cut-scene and driving around planets wishing you would find something unique. Honestly i kept hoping id get missions/quests that would allow me to attack kett ships and stations. Kind of like what Warframe does, and honestly doesnt the kett kinda remind you of the grineer? like even their tech looks similar if not the same...

I'm not going to drop my support for a game/franchise when I'm content just cuz someone else is upset. It's stupid how you're blaming others for buying the game. Why would they not if they like it? whats stopping me from saying you're convincing yourself Andromeda is a bad game? We don't speak for others. We don't judge quality for others, we don't share the same preferences or priorities.

Im trying to do a new game+ but just the idea of driving all over Eos again etc is keeping me away from that.........

We don't judge quality for others, we don't share the same preferences or priorities. I don't blame anyone, but let us not pretend that this the fault of corporations and publishers. You can't have people buying a bad product because their gaming addiction tells them to, and then, suddenly, question the publisher that releases another product like that. People are questioning MEA quality when it is the same bad quality as DAI. Why do they complain? They bought DAI and then the publisher released another game like that. When they buy MEA, they shouldn't complain if the next ME is of the same quality as this one. It goes without saying that I am not talking about the people who actually enjoy the game, because they will buy the next one even if it is exactly the same. Gamers need to take some rensponsibility. It is not all the publisher's fault.

No, BioWare is nothing like Ubisoft. Playing AC Unity for the first time right now. Game has its faults for sure, but facial animations are not one of them.
