In principle this is a good thing and very good for tactics but as with many things that they map multiple functions to one button I end up (more-so with some classes than others) changing hand when I do not want to. As in it happens a lot. Does any one else have this issue or I am the only one in all of the Helius cluster?
(This is on the XBox, I would assume it is no issue for pc players as I would assume you would have a different key for L and R hand)

Yeah, my TSol kept switching to LHA last night and I know for a fact I NEVER PUSHED THE GODDAMN BUTTON. But, you know, whatever man.

Mine is mapped to the default "ALT" key. It works fine for me - no unwanted switches. Shame you can´t change-hand a charged weapon like the Lanat, otherwise it´s smooth.

Perfectly fine for me. Also using default ALT key bind.
Gonna say it's a great thing. It was one of the first things I learned with a rifle - ambidexterity. Sure, my left handed still sucks too hard to try it wit ha real weapon, but hey. I can do it in theory.

Drop the cash on an xb1 elite controller. You'll thank yourself for it sooner than later.
That said, yes, I have noticed a few times where view seemed to have switched on it's own, but not often.

Personally when I'm flailing away at buttons I will occasionally switch side by accident.
While I use LHA when appropriate, all the hours of ME3MP have made that look feel weird, and I end up switching back to RHA to move around.

Sounds like you may need to relax your grip a bit. Very easily, when the heat is on and I ma running around and looking around at who is shooting me I find it very easy to push the look stick a bit too hard and switch hands. |

Yep this happens to me sometimes. It became apparent early on and it's quite annoying. However, it doesn't ruin the game for me. It doesn't feel like a huge deal, I can deal with it. I just have to remember not to apply too much pressure to the analogue stick. This is why I hate consoles so much, I wish they didn't exist.

I don't have a problem with the switching left/right sides on Xbox. What I did have a problem with was holding down the left stick to run. There's a setting for run to be toggled on and off, and my thumb is thankful for it.
