MP Character Naming (Andromeda)

Oh man I miss having Geth MP characters. Geth Goldblum and Geth Rogen were two of my absolute favourites in ME3.

My (female) KroGlad is to be named Kool-Aid Man. (I forgot about naming until now!)

OH YEAH

I let my kid name them:

Adepts: Xiantha and Niuraon

Engineers: Niropita and Munga

She hasn't got around to the rest yet.

Just named! After chit-chatting, the Human Engineers got to be Jack and Jackie Frost.

I was agonizing over literary analogies for a cold, calculating, brilliant and uber-handsome techie male character, but my knowledge of pop-culture was drawing a blank. So, went with these silly names. :)

You can name characters?

You can actually write custom biographies for them there as well.

I did not write it, because I'm like... cooler than that, yeah, and not at all obsessed with my MP cast, no, not at all... but I suspect that the Sentinel (this time I picked a girl version) may have an untold Superhero story (honestly, I dunno why...), so I've preliminary called her:

Female Human Sentinel: Alica the Live Wire (I am considering shortening it to just Live Wire)

Male Human Adept: Furious Ming
Male Human Vanguard: Roderick Ponce
Male Human Engineer: Jack Frost
Female Human Engineer: Jackie Frost

In Apex, there is an Edit pencil icon by both the name and bio. You can name and rename characters all you want, and it will show their names in nice bold script in the character tabs very visible, unlike ME3MP.

I've finally finished naming all the Humans yesterday. It took a while, but I think I am happy with this scheme. I tried to stick to BioWARE games names, unless... well, something that appeals to me happens:

Adepts: Furious Ming & Scholar Ling
Soldiers: Frag Maiden & Fragman
Vanguards: Sir Roderick Ponce & Madame Ponce
Engineers: Jack and Jackie Frost
Infiltrators: Cypher 6 & Cypher 7
Sentinels: Live Wire & Wireless

Awww, if only I could have nametags showing in the game Oh, well, I will take a quiet delight in my Apex App.

One of my favorite dumb pasttimes is coming up with names I find funny for my Strike Teams and characters based on the picture of the squad.

Three Krogan: Quad Squad

Three Turians: Too Fast Too Turious (Of course, given the Quick Response Vehicle)

Three Salarians: Some Tough Guys, Some Tougher Guys,(I just visualize these three nerds signing up to join Apex and only providing their initials, making Kandros think he's getting hardened STG guys instead of, well... three salarians that thought it'd be cool to buy guns and join Apex.)

One Turian, Two Humans: Token Turian

Haven't had much luck coming up with good funny names for characters yet, but loved that feature in ME3MP. Sadly, most of my favorites from that game are too immature to post.

I'll take a look next time I land in an idle lobby to see if the names show up in the lobby gear explore thinggie.

Because Nakmor Gladys really, really hates her given name and figures ... Gladys ... Happy Butt ... what's the diff?
