The most logical conclusion is the Moshae is not a person.
She is upset that her voice was drowned over the rescue of her people.
Later she will be severely displeased if you pick someone other than her as the Ambassador.
She is politically charged and quite ambitious. She's just hiding her teeth.

I think a lot of people make this choice based on how it is presented without knowing what it really entails. The codex offers clarification. When saving the angarans, you are not actually saving all of them right now. You are rescuing some with the wishful thinking that the resistance can save the rest in the near future by retaking the facility before they get exalted. Based on the angarans' track record though, it is a near fantasy. The moshae likely feels the prisoners' death is preferable to almost certain exaltation. Destroying the facility is also a major blow to the kett's reproductive efforts in the region.

Destroy the facility. There is no guarantee you'll have a second opportunity and far more individuals could be converted in long run if it is left intact.

I also saved them.
*would be nice* I would have liked the option for instance to save them, but tell the Moshae the AI team will go back and destroy it. Then perhaps the Moshae would be grateful for the save, and provide Angaran Resistance fighters to assist with destroying the base. Both needs met.

destroy the facility, it's way better, the Moshae will be pleased, the kett can vreate more monsters with that facility, and the angara are already doomed

I saved the angarans. Destroying the facility means also destroying the teams that went in with you. Also, the idea is to get rid of the kett completely, so they're not exactly going to be able to USE the facility much.
This is one of those binary decisions that piss me off about Andromeda, though. I don't understand why we can't wait until the angarans are free, THEN destroy the facility. SAM says he can send a pulse that will render the facility inoperable. That doesn't take much time. Get the angarans out, then just as/before the kett land, send the pulse. Whammo, two birds, one stone.

"No one joins the resistance to be safe."
The Angaran tell you right up front the sacrifices they're willing to make, I've not destroyed it in my previous play through, but I will be doing so this time, a guess here is if the facility is left standing, it won't be the Kett using it, but the mysterious benefactor in a sequel, deja vu?

Blow the facility cause if not then Angara's ineptitude at fighting Kett will mean that the temple gets filled again very quickly.

I always choose save, and then shoot overseer. Its not about appeasing Jaal, its the fact that I would be also be killing the resistance team and reinforcements that they brought in. It was a major comittment on their part. I took this descision in the first playthrough when I had no idea what would happen next, and have repeated it in 2nd and 3rd playthrough. I will admit this however: If Liam had accompanied the resistance fighters because he knew our 'communication protocols' that decision might have turned out differently

Save the Angara. With everything I did against the Kett on Voeld and elsewhere after that, there is no reason to believe that this facility can't be destroyed or occupied later on.

On my 2nd PT and destroyed the facility. Jaal shot the Cardinal but is currently upset with me.

This one is interesting because, later when you go to Aya and read about their laws, their military doctrine pretty much tells you to save the angara. Of course, you don't know that at the time.
