I would consider two months to be the earliest that we'll see it. Like I've said before, it's not hard to make a game that's playable. It's hard to polish that game, have level designers, have writers, have voice actors, have motion capture actors, and have all that wrapped up into one big ball of fun. That's what's difficult.
If anybody could do this, we would all be writing games in our basements.

So N7 would be a good guess, but I'd expect no more than a little sneak peak. Proper gameplay should be on next gaming expo after that. |

I have no real actual evidence or anything for this
but as a developer myself I would generally use a phrase like "It's very playable" to describe something that's almost at(or possibly already there) the feature complete alpha stage where, as the name suggests, all of the game's systems and coding is actually done and you're now working on fixing bugs, adding polish, etc.

"It's not as far along as it's supposed to be at this stage, which is the reason why we don't have any gameplay footage to show". That'd look incredibly bad to the shareholders.
