I normally play gold till i get to about 200k or 300k and then go on buying some packs.
Normally 1 gold pack and everything else for the 20k packs as i still have few uncommon items to max. Outside of that once i max my rare's i will probably go on saving 5 mills before buying any packs.
I just hate buying one pack after each match and finding nothing but trash inside. At least when you buy a bunch there is a chance you gona get at least one item worth a damn.

I presumed saving is what people do well that was the case back in ME3 MP saved 10 to 15 mil and then spend. I did save 4.850.000 credits in MEA MP but man its tedious either i spend them now or save till 12 million credits as some one said here before atleast you get some decent gear and weapons.
And its true full extraction on gold with ME3 MP nets you 80+k in about 20 min with decent pugs.
Full extraction on Platinum in ME3 MP nets you 150+k can be done in 20 min sometimes less if i went with a friend of mine.
