Liam continues the fine Mass Effect tradition of boring male human companion. Edit: Though to be fair he is more interesting than Jacob and Kaidan. You should have been able to choose Bain Massani. I'd have loved to have Bain Massani on my crew. Zaeed (grumpy old space grandpa) was one of my favs in ME2 and I loved his interaction with Garrus in the Citadel DLC. |

Liam is annoying for sure. cant understand most of what he says... talks too quickly I suppose. Don't love any of the characters. maybe they will grow on me in future playthroughs - but Vetra is the most annoying - enough with your sister Vetra - we get it!

Honestly Peebee, Vetra, and Drack are the best characters they have best, most interesting, and downright funny party banter in the Nomad and each brings something out of the other. Liam is annoying after his loyalty mission he does become less annoying but by then I still want to throw him off the ship for the stupid idea that caused his loyalty mission in the first place which is he gave Nexus codes to an Angara trader who gets captured by pirates. Cora is OK but she's more asari than Peebee and Lexi are in fact Lexi tells Ryder that because Cora thinks because of their longer lifespan that the asari are a lot less fallible when if fact they're not and they have to live guilt for centuries when they screw up. Jaal is all over the place and he suffers from the ME1 Tali Syndrome of being basically a walking exposition dump for the angara and the kett. What is more annoying is his constantly saying he's not expert on those subjects and yet he still talks and act likes he is an expert. I will say that his reactions to the revelations to what the kett exaltation is and the origin of the angara are well written. |
