Least Favorite Squadmate in Andromeda

I get that,. I dunno...for me it's like, pretty much every Bioware game I've played, I've actively hated at least 1/3rd of the companions/crew, so it's actually kind of refreshing for me to finally have a squad where I don't have a visceral hate response to anyone, even if it means Drack and Vetra are just kind of...there. They're not bad characters, just not all that special to me.

Peebee is annoying as fuck.

Peebee - her childish introduction, her boring loyalty quest, and just her annoying personality.

2nd would be Liam - beyond the interesting accent, there just isn't anything there to like. Boring, and he's useless in combat on hard difficulty. Always dying.

I sort of have the same problem with Suvi but from the opposite direction.  I feel like her speech patterns have been slowed way way down just to make her intelligible to non-scots. The accent is fine (given that the VO is a scot thats no surprise) but rate of speech is on half speed.  Its like nails on a chalkboard for me, I would rather have her speak at the normal speed and if players struggle they can put the subtitles on. 

I had problems understanding Sera too.  I think it's the combination of accent and speech patterns, though, since I had no trouble with understanding the writer's other characters (Jacob, Aveline, and Carver Hawke).

Shepard to Cora: What's a Huntress?  Oh, an Asari Commando, yeah I saw some of them in action back on Noveria.  Wiped out a couple packs of them right before I killed their Matriarch and then turned a giant Rachni Queen into goop.  Good times.

Female Garrus she is not.

Liam because he annoys me with his upbeat attitude. Reminds me of superman's attitude - "I want justice for everyone".
I wish there was a conversation option to the tune of "Yeah Liam? Well, life doesn't work that way. Grow up kid." Maybe someone peeing in his cheerios would chill him out a bit. lol

If I had to rank from favorite to least favorite I would say:

Peebee
Vetra
Jaal
Drak
Cora
the dirt
the worms inside the dirty
Liam

Liam. I don't hate him, but he's bottom of the ladder for me out of this group.

I think his actor's performance is one of the big things; I don't think there's an argument to be made that he isn't the weak link out of the voice cast among the main characters.

After that, I found his impulsiveness and unwillingness to explain his plans to be grating and annoying. Contrast with Peebee where it came off as endearing and intriguing. I think the main thing there is that Peebee's flaws were genuinely presented as flaws that she needed to overcome where as Liam's came off more to me as "but he's so well meaning!" that he's not really expected to outgrow them.

I feel some people had already made up their mind about her before even playing the game.

Through her whole loyalty mission I was mumbling,"blah blah blah don't care skip skip"

She feels like someone trying too much. Roses in Helius? Barf. Nothing cries louder BS than that. My snarky Ryder was thinking "why not apples, Cora? You can eat apples."
