MEA gave me so many feels, off the top of my head.
Drack's whole arch; talking about how he felt old and useless, how Kesh made him useful again, his loyalty mission. Peebee opening up about her previous abusive relationship and melding with her at the end of her romance Jaal bringing you home to meet his family Cora raging out when she learns what exaltation is (bring her along during this mission, you won't regret it) Listening to the last messages received from the Milkway from the start of ME3 Alec's fate Avitus learning what happened to Macen Helping Lexi deal with her self-doubt. Seeing Cora be disappointed by her hero Climbing the cliff with Vetra and Vetra & Sid's interactions during her loyalty mission. The task were an engineer had programmed some beacons to speak phrases from his dead daughter as encouragement The ending

I felt the same with a lot of what was mentioned here. Drack and Kesh Pissed of Drack after the Salarian ark mission (which I did after the bar fight and uniting the Krogans with the Nexus peeps -- really got me) Meeting Jaal's family Jaal's entire romance The exultation facility reveal The reveal at the end about MamaRyder and then runnning like crazy to tell Scott the news Worrying about Scott the entire end mission and when telling him about home and PapaRyder The audio logs from Alec Ryder Alec Ryder's death Celebrating the eventual win at the end with Jaal and crew Trying to sneak out of the celebration and then being stopped by the Salarian Pathfinder reminding Ryder how close her crew had gotten
So many feels in this game

Alec's death. Cora's rose garden scene. This is really special to me, because during that whole scene I was thinking how far Bioware has come in terms of friendship content that is not tied to romance. I was thinking about Bastila from KotOR and what little content she had if you played a female character, I never felt like I got to be Bastila's friend and that always made me a little bit sad. But this scene with Cora was really different, and even though she is only romanceable by male characters my female Ryder still got to be her friend and share a moment that was really important to Cora, and honestly, it brought a tear to my eye. Drack's story about how he got Kesh. And he calls her ru'shan, "blood of my blood". Nuff said. Jaal's scene where you meet his family. I was romancing him so this was a really special moment. I liked that fact that you can hug his Mom when you meet her, like someone else on this forum pointed out it shows that Ryder has been paying attention to the angarans customs. This scene also shows, at least to me, why Sara and Jaal are perfect for each other. Sara is a total nerd when it comes to science and so in a way is Jaal (actually the angara in general are a species of nerds from what I've seen, Maker bless them!) I just like how enthusiastic Jaal is about showing her his things. The sweet kiss they share and then laying on the floor and holding hands. Daw!

Drack's story overall for sure, a really great arc.
When the Archon captured you for the first time, I felt genuinely worried for my protagonist and my team as they had no control of the situation.
The Reveal of Sam's memory triggers was very well done also, it should have been more present into the story and not a sidequest.
Jaal's post loyalty mission wherw you meet his family was really great too. I went from not liking him at all to rewlly seeing him as a brother on this new world.
I do think overall I enjoyed my last chats with each crew, climbing mountains with Vetra, Cora's garden, etc. All of these scenes showed me how I ended up really caring for all the characters one way or another. It's a shame to see people saying they ignored a character right from the start, without seeing them develop.
Last, of course is the last mission and all that happened in there. I personally felt all my hours spent paid off really well.

The Cora scene was something really special from BioWare the romance version is exactly what you look for in that character and the lead up to it makes it all the better.

It's because Jo Berry is the new Drew K, the new DGaider and the new L'Etoile. They actually hired a good writer who also isn't old and also isn't caught up in social justice or virtue-signaling. She seems to write with her intuition and knowhow and does it well. She also wrote for Calpernia who was the most interesting subvillain in DA:I
They just need to appoint her as Lead but tell her "please less awkward hug interrupts"

The task were an engineer had programmed some beacons to speak phrases from his dead daughter as encouragementThe ending The better parts of MEA had to do with characters feeling inadequate, more or less (which can certainly provide parallels to how people viewed MEA in the series, before and now...). Its when they get acting like too awesome punks, or vapid puppets, that I dislike them. Frankly it would have been awesome to have a whole game full of people with doubts that were written, acted, animated better for that, because it'd make the later victories and promises of the future that much more impressive. Imagine if when meeting Drack, he kicked plenty of ass but his augs were actually breaking down?!? Or when meeting Peebee, she does mostly handle herself but misses a Remnant and you know she could have died without you? Missed opportunities.Whenever Lexi expressed doubt about her skills, knowledge, and personality, I immediately felt for her tenfold, both in terms of deep sympathy and in terms of annoyance that she couldn't shake off the doubt, in equal measure. This is great and could have been mixed in better with the Casual/Professional/Emotional/Logical system more. Maybe if the game cooked longer.

This is great and could have been mixed in better with the Casual/Professional/Emotional/Logical system more. Maybe if the game cooked longer. This crew is my favourite single game Mass Effect crew so I don't really agree. Although I liked that the crew opened up about their feelings, I think having characters contently riddled with doubts would get to be a bit exhausting. One of the things I liked about the crew was the fact that they were able to take care of themselves for the most part and needed Ryder's help, not because she was better in combat than them but because they were friends and needed the backup. They also had all developed various coping mechanisms to deal with things that had happened to them before and after leaving for Andromeda. Take Peebee for example; her cocky act in clearly a defensive mechanism she learnt because the rest of her family was so much older than her and her only other romantic relationship was very abusive. The key difference between MET crews and the MEA crews for me is that the MET crews need Shep, she inspires Garrus to become batman and Wrex to go back and help his people. They needed her to be around to do that. Throughout the MET Shep is a saviour that people need, whereas Ryder is more normal. People ask for her help because they are friends, sure she is the Pathfinder but her twin would've done just as good a job and she mostly got the job because. Don't get me wrong, I really like Shep as a protagonist but I've always felt more of a connection with more normal people who get thrown into a something and have to figure out how to survive the situation as they go along, like Hawke from the DA series.

This is great and could have been mixed in better with the Casual/Professional/Emotional/Logical system more. Maybe if the game cooked longer. This is why I like Cora as a Romance option. The game allows an adventurous of professional attitude that really suits her insecurity. Then as she adjusts you become the reason for her stability. From what I can tell that works even if you don't romance her.

Sadness - Alec's sacrifice, Ryder twin's misfortune after reaching Andromeda
Lulz - Drack's running commentary during his loyalty mission (TDK's Joker sez "Hiii")
Groans - Ryder trying to act tough on Kadara. It just seemed try-hard and not congruent with his personality, perhaps intentionally so.
Chills - That call from Palaven, from unlocking Alec's memories

Jaal's reaction to the exalted Anagara on the facility on Voeld. You can say what you want about facial animations, but I was pretty damn impressed with his facial animation in that scene. His crying felt very realistic, even without animated tears.
The S.O.S logs from the milkyway in Alec's quarter's gave me the chills.
When Avitus tells you that Macen was more to him, than just a pathfinder, and you realize he's about to find out his lover is dead.
When Jaal meets his siblings in his personal quest, and they start to accuse Ryder. I really loved the facial animation of his sister, when she tried to shoot her brother. The dialogue felt really natural as well (the way they kept interrupting each other).
Vetra burning my steak made my heart ache because she's too damn cute.

I mostly was playing the whole game so far in the "Hurray!!! Adventure!!!" mode, but one scene that stopped all that for a moment and made me actually feel something other than "fun-fun-fun-fun and games" was when Tishujen went to talk to Scott in coma and had to tell him that Dad is dead. I actually stopped by the cryo place a few times since. I hate to admit it, but this time around having a brother matters. I am a single child, married to a single child and a mother of a single child, so I have zero RL experience with siblings and feelings they trigger.

Watching the shuttles descend on the first colony on EOS.
Listening to the cry's of the first human baby born in Andromeda.
Movie Night.
Drack in the medbay, hearing about how he ended up with Kesh.
Listening to the recordings from the Milky Way and the Reapers (if I hadn't played OT that would have made me instantly run to play them) awesome moment.
Telling my sibling Dad was dead, that made nearly an instant connection for me with the sibling character.

I've shot Akksul. Then had to replay the whole mission because apparently that killed romance. But he pulled a gun on Jaal! I still struggled keeping hands off KB/mouse during the scene to keep my precious romance going, lol. Nobody shoots Jaal. Oh. Well. Okay, thousands of nameless characters do so all day long... But, you know...

The scene when Alec dies is contrived as hell. What is stopping him from sharing helmets repeatedly to stall for time while they take breaths or something?

I'm not sure I'm "got" yet. I went into the OT looking for something very specific and got it. The epic feel to the trilogy (I started playing in early 2016) gave me something that I haven't seen yet in MEA. I haven't become emotionally attached to anyone yet. I don't know, maybe it'll take some DLC (something like Citadel) or a second game to make that happen. Once that happens, I could go back to the start and have a different perception that will invest me more in the game. A squadmate I could romance would help on that end but BioWare hasn't given me that. Thanks to the OT, and the DA series, that's now a thing for me. However, it makes sense that romantic attachment and friendship would help to emotionally tie me to the game.
As it now stands, I didn't feel much when Alec died, maybe in part because Ryder didn't show much emotion about it. If he doesn't care why should I?
I'd say that the first communication with Sara felt good, as did Alec's memories, and also Sara waking up. I liked the romances I had but I wasn't attached to them, not like I was with Kaidan and Shepard.

I also would have thought you could make some kind of Barrier around the face, using the suit's oxygen. A backup in case the faceplate is beyond repair.

Every Drack scene got to me like that, mostly because I just friggen love the Krogan so much! But also, imagining that big ole grizzled warrior holding a tiny baby in his hands, and suddenly realizing that he had more to do...gah! I totally teared up at that scene!!! I also got randomly emotional on the rooftop scene with Reyes. Sure, it was a bit ham-fisted, but when I asked him why he came to Andromeda and he said "To be someone"...I thought the VA really nailed that. That single line is why I could not hurt him, even though he did that really underhanded thing to Sloane (but, ya know...screw that space pirate!) And one more...the Kallo and Gil scene. Made me absolutely adore Kallo.
