Who the hell wants useless words meant solely to placate the salty? I just want fixes to the technical problems. Yeah I agree. Honestly the game is already here, they have my money. How or why we got here is pretty irrelevant to me now. What matters is how and when they are gonna fix it.

I think you would bitch if they gave you $100. I think you would lick them even if they crap on your face. Nah, not into that freaky shit. I hear it's pretty popular in Japan though.

I Like the option to skip the Tempest Landing/Take offs. hoping it makes traveling faster. They said they can't make those skippable because that's when the level loads, completely ignoring the fact that load times are variable and that their tram cutscene on the Nexus does just that. Yea that. I had a landing scene on Eos skipped by accident and you can see the level meshes and textures pop in as they are loaded during that time. Kinda looks like the Animus is building a world. As for the news: Sounds good to me. I personally love the galaxy map and don't mind the travel animations at all but I know a lot o people wanted this, so that should be good. Also nice to hear they are working on a lot of issues. Wasn't sure they could go into the animations but it sounds like we might actually see improvements there. I hope they'll also fix some game breaking bugs like the viability thing I keep hearing about (fortunately didn't experience it myself). I also really really hope they'll get around to fixing the persistent mouse courser that happens randomly when exiting menus on PC, that really annoys the crap out of me. For those people who complain that everything takes too long: What did you expect? Patches are complicated and don't just happen over night, devs need to make sure they don't introduce new bugs when they fix old ones. These days, when you buy a game at release, you have to know that you are sort of an early adopter. It's sad but that's how it is. All in all, these news all sound pretty good and are about (or maybe even a bit above) what I expected.

Here are the patch notes: Patch 1.05 Notes
- Improved tutorial placement - Single player balance changes: Ammo crates, armor, weapons, nomad, profiles, attacks, and progression - Multiplayer balance changes: Weapons, cover, and enemies (check back for detailed notes on balance changes) - Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map - Improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs - Improved lip-sync and facial acting during conversations, including localized VO - Fixed bugs where music or VO wouldn’t play or wasn’t correct - Fixed issue where global squad mate banter sometimes wasn’t firing on UNCs - I wonder what that means. - It would be nice if they would give us details on this SP balance changes... too many patch notes forget to actually give us... patch notes. - Good, good. - Fantastic! - Improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs? This one has me the most confused and intrigued. Anyone have more details? - I don't know why there are so many different patch notes, but one said only some conversations would get improved animations. I understand, and it's certainly better than nothing, but it's worth noting. - Good, that has been a problem for me sometimes. - Fixing the Banter Bug 2.0™? Nice. "Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map" THANK THE GODDESS I must be the only person that likes those. We've always been hit with loading screens in ME games when going between planets. This one is immersive. I like them too, especially the FTL ones, but they can get very tedious if you're fully exploring systems at a time. It takes forever when it really doesn't need to. I'll still watch them sometimes, but options are optional, remember, so I'd consider this an improvement. This Thursday, we’ll release a new patch that addresses technical fixes (crashes, improved performance), but also adds a number of improvements we’ve heard you ask for, such as: Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map Increasing the inventory limits Improving the appearance of eyes for humans and asari characters Decreasing the cost of remnant decryption keys and making them more accessible at merchants Improving localized voice over lip sync - Increased inventory, yay! - Better looking eyes? Wow, I had given up on that, that's the thing that bugs me most about my character's appearance, so awesome! - Does this mean people are having a lot of trouble with Remnant puzzles? I mean, I am too. I like/am good at most of Bioware's puzzles, but the 5x5 Remnant Sudoku I just can't get the hang of. Wait, are you making this up? Because, more gay Scott options? I wonder how that'll be implemented... Improvements to the CC in multiple ways? More improvements to animations? More cosmetic items (casual clothes, presumably) for free? My current reaction to the patch notes: And I wonder if the Hainly Abrams thing means they reworded her introduction so she doesn't deadname herself? I'd be surprised, but it would be something. In fact, while I'm excited about all of these changes, I could describe them all as "better late than never". Still, I won't complain... too much Well if it takes them a month to patch in a white skin tone into the CC they got bigger problems than my whining or your douchebag response anyway. /shrug Yeah, it would have been nice if they included some small improvements to the CC in this patch, like that. Surely that alone wouldn't be hard. Well if it takes them a month to patch in a white skin tone into the CC they got bigger problems than my whining or your douchebag response anyway. /shrug Bug fixing is more important than enhancing the CC right now, and there are white skin tones just fyi. You may not like them, but they are there. Not really. You can't even do anything as pale as the default twins, better yet anything like a pale white person would have. It's honestly pretty weird, and personally disappointing as I like to make pale characters, often with freckles (another thing missing). Thursday can't come soon enough. Maybe I should just do random sidequests and avoid cinematics until then, ha. Though the patch with more CC stuff is what I'm really looking forward to. Hope they deliver (we need a Mirror of Transformation, minimum).

Wow, so they're improving male romance options for Scott? I wonder how that's going to work. Also, that's very fantastic news. Making Jaal bi and finishing the unfinished romance. I'm trying not to get my hopes up for that... Also, what was wrong with zig-zag running? I didn't really do that, so... Maybe I'll go test it I hoped they'd fix a bug that refers to Sara as "he" in her psych profile. I tweeted them about it with no response, naturally. Maybe in one of the other patches... It must be a relic of an earlier build, since the report is supposed to say "you" for Scott and Sara both.

I hope they will fix the black screen problem this time. my game goes into infinite loading and black screen every time I got killed from full hp. usually on normal and hardcore difficulties, this is not a problem because not many enemies will kill you with one shot, especially if you play on normal. but on insanity, a lot of enemies will kill you in one shot even with full shields and hp. and immediately, I will have that stupid black screen and infinite loading time. I hope the collision bug they mentioned in the notes fixed the enemies shooting inside the wall bullshit. because last night I got killed twice by an enemy that's inside a wall, and I don't know where the shots were coming from. it was extremely annoying given that I'm playing on insanity. another thing they need to fix is sometimes enemies will go invisible after you finish a mission. I encountered this bug when I took out the Kett base on Eos, but left some enemies behind after the base was disabled. all of a sudden, the normal Chosen Kett soldiers became invisible, I was only able to locate them by the hp bar on the top of their heads...

soooo.... miracle did not happened... as expected. All the fuss about big announcement was all about pretty much generic news... seriously, was that really needed to make a specific announcement about April 4th announcement as if something big and meaningful was going to happen? Sorry BW, but you are loosing last few remaining pieces of credibility here by making a fuss over nothing. Couldn't you just said back then that you going to release a patch in a coming week and be done with it, instead of making it a mythical announcement about announcement about coming patch? It feels alsmost childish.... is it what Bioware PR this days?... Huge thumbs down. "My expectations were incredibly lofty and now I'm baawing"

You realize this shit takes time right? Did you expect a new game to be made in a few days? I swear to god the ME user base bitches about everything, even when they get what they want....Now it's going to take a month!!! WaaaaaaaaH. Well if it takes them a month to patch in a white skin tone into the CC they got bigger problems than my whining or your douchebag response anyway. /shrug To be fair it'd make sense to just do the entire CC together rather than go out of their way just for skin tones. Drop feeding small patches can cause more issues if they were to release small things say once a week. Codes then start interfering as they're not getting adequate testing on them. ultimately because of how many bugs and issues the game has it's going to take time to fix, but the responses from Bioware is awesome compared to most DVD out there, now they just need to follow up on it with action. im personally happy with this upcoming patch as it actually fixes some of my own issues. Thevsave system getting updated, galaxy traveling get short cutter (saves time of me sitting on phone traveling planet to planet just to scan) as well as a few other technical issues to make the game look better.

Adding a new skin tone option I would imagine to be a rather low risk and low effort fix. Yet one that would at least allow me to continue playing the game instead of having to shelve it for months before I even start a new game. I realize not everyone cares about small things like that but I'm sure I'm not alone in this either. I could likely make due with the CC otherwise. More options would definitely be nice and I can certainly understand a larger overhaul taking time, which is why small things like that they can do sooner they should.

I would expect them to fix the sprinting bug on PC. Just wondering, how common is it? I assumed it was a common issue, but if it's not in the patch notes, I guess it isn't as common as I thought.
The issue I'm referring to is that when sprint is set to 'hold' your character doesn't actually stop sprinting when releasing the sprint key. When it's set to 'toggle', there's no way to toggle it off and the character will keep sprinting.

- Improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs? This one has me the most confused and intrigued. Anyone have more details? I'm thinking that this is related to what many people said about the game giving spoilers about the story There are many situations where some background NPCs mention something that didn't happen yet (for example I heard about a bug where some NPCs talk about Angara on Nexus before you actually meet them). Same for Codex entries - I had codex entries mention PeeBee before she appeared in my game. From the gameplay perspective it would be better if you started getting entries about some stuff after you meet these people / encounter these situations. There's a lot of bugs like that - there was a whole thread somewhere around here mentioning this problem, especially with the Codex. I assumed that this patch note might be related to it.

I didn't think they could tweak animations post release. The facial acting item makes me hopeful. There are also news of free cosmetic updates on the horizon. It seems I'm buying this game after all.

Sometimes it wouldn't turn off at all until I ran into a few things after pressing the toggle off several times.
