Krogan Rage's visual effect

Games are historically bad about taking quality of life into account in terms of certain design stuff, but both ME3MP and MEAMP are like masterclasses in thoughtless decisions for player comfort.   I'd lump low damage semi-auto weapons into that same category, because there are players who range from finding that kind of weapon annoying or discomforting, up to those who physically can't do it (often due to repetitive stress injuries, which is exactly the problem with that weapon design!). 


On Krogan Rage, I'd settle for getting rid of the blue flash (second time today I've complained about it on here). My eyes can adjust to one overlay, but the sudden switch to blue flashing really messes me up.

Official patches aside, I was mostly wondering if there's something we could do locally in the meantime, like editing or removing some file, or disabling the effect with the console or whatever. I'm not knowledgeable about these things so I've no idea if that's possible at all.

Yeah I agree with you.  Bioware got all jazzed up about how thin and spiky they could make the rage lines in the new engine.  

In all likelihood though it was probably a work around for the color palette differences between firebases -- to avoid the blindness issues we have on firebase white.  They could still tone it down a bit.

I'm really glad they added a field of view modifier on pc, I played that first night without changing it. Now, I don't know how ppl play on the default setting. That shiz gave me a migraine

You know, I kinda miss the old Korgan Rage mode. It pumped me up. I can barely tell it's even on the way it is now.
