Here's the thing as you buy packs normally like the basic packs for 5000 you have a chance for a higher level card to drop which would save you some credits there. With real money of course you want to buy the higher level packs to try to get good weapons. If you want a chance at the N7 weapons with mostly gold weapons dropping, buy the highest priced packs. If you want to max the gold weapons which have some really good weapons buy the next to the highest level packs. In any case I would try to get after EA and get them to give me some more packs. And as a paying customer they will likely want to make you happy.

Thanks for the advice. To clear up a few things - I'm not a bad player. I played Platinum on ME3 and I play Gold on MEA. I just don't have as much time to play that I want to grind out the credits to get packs the legit way. Oh, and I'm a regular around here, I just made this account to keep the rage as disdain directed at my Kett Behemoth account rather than my real account. Anyway... if I buy a bunch of Premiums without having my Uncommons maxed, am I going to get Uncommons dropping in what should be the Rare/UR slots? Because that would suck. And finally I'm proud to support free DLC for everyone and (hopefully) free coffee for the MEA developers. No on the uncommons dropping in rare spots. |

If you are trying to get a specific weapon or character then dont bother, I spent £7 (1000 points) last night in the hopes I may get a Revenant from the 5 Expert packs I was able to get....my hopes were dashed, best thing I got was the Huntress unlock...fecking Indra and Venom taking my Revenant spot  Not to worry, the Revenant is trash anyhow. Go with the Raptor. |

Until they balance the game most guns are going to suck. But, the best value for money if you're using Andromeda points is the Premium Pack. I bought $100 (CDN) at the start after playing the trial as I sensed there were issues with the weapons and I lucked out and picked up a couple weapons I could tolerate.....having said that until I see some pretty serious improvements I am not going to drop another cent as the weapons need serious love, so I am playing kits and relying heavy on their powers and amps I get, have common and uncommon done, weapons mods are also at X so I save credits and buy expert packs every few days |

Man what a crazy day, amirite? Bioware drops a patch and peeps are goin' cray-cray. Anyway I opened 10 Premium Packs and here's what I got:

and a bunch of weapon mods, like up to Shotgun Barrel V and some others at I and II
Not a bad haul, 5 URs (counting the SR Rail Amp 4, lol!) and 22 Rares (counting a bunch of boosters).
Vanquisher felt pretty good, not as OP as I was expecting from the hype though.
Anyways thanks for the advice. Y'll who's good at math might've realized I only spent 3000 of my 5750 Anrdomeda Points so later I'll ahve to spend the rest.
