sniper rifles are overpowered right now, usually soldiers shouldnt run with snipers to be effective. if you change your weapon to a non-sniper you wouldnt be that effective. so the main problem people are having with soldiers is that soldiers are useless with other weapons Run him any of the decent weapons and he's a kill-assist machine Equalizer Talon Hurricane Revenant Vanquisher Isharay Falcon Piranha

Raptor = Full auto kinetic weapon, with a scope. Thx that was going to be my next question, i assumed it was like the raptor in me3 and if i recall its graphic looks the same. I'll use that for sure then. Raptor maybe the best AR in the game. It damn sure is in my manifest but my thokin is low level. If you have the raptor I would recommend giving it a try. It eats ammo though.

Damn... I didn`t even know.. It`s definitely worth using in that case. Yup, scope is a bit annoying, and it's pretty crap in full auto at long distances due to spread - but it does it's just fairly well I find. Even if I hate the fact that it's a sniper rifle.

He's awesome. Gold viable as soon as you have a high damage weapon like the Widow (it's only Uncommon). As long as you can drop mooks in one headshot you'll be way more effective than most PUGs.

You can use the Cyclone if you are leveling and switch to the Revenant once you got it. I'm still not sure if I should use the 24 % debuff or stability.
I can't wait to have my Revenant maxed. Reminds me of my old turian Typhoon / Hurricane builds.

Run him any of the decent weapons and he's a kill-assist machine Equalizer Talon Hurricane Revenant Vanquisher Isharay Falcon Piranha How does the Equalizer perform? I have that at II, may give it a shot. it's a slower limited range less accurate hurricane that hits harder per-bullet and never runs out of ammo. use it with X magazine and x receiver and you can safely damage anything in the game reliably between cooldowns, in the case of the Tsol you basically get a bullet hose weapon you never have to worry about ammo with, the only issue is limited range.

I run him with a vanquisher and always hit around 30k in points end game on gold. My highest with him was 36k. He's great with frag grenades too because of crowd control.

The Turian Soldier is the only part of this video game I actually like so far. I like him with the Incisor, even with off-host hit detection being the crap it is. I wish the sandstorm actually damaged enemies, since it's the closest thing I've found to the Saber (Saber Turian Soldier was my favorite ME3 MP build). I haven't tried the incisor yet on him. Off to try that one out.

I think it's a close call but players I know who run him without a sniper take the debuff so you're probably right.

I don't see a lot of love for him here on the forum. I run him 5/6/3/6/6 and he absolutely wrecks. I use the Vanquisher, but I'd imagine he works well with other guns as well. The passives make it very difficult to die. SO for those of you tired of infiltrators and vanguards, give him a shot! Once i find a decent assault rifle I'll use him more. A decent assault rifle? Assault rifles suck in gold. You wanna use sniper rifles or shotguns.

Once i find a decent assault rifle I'll use him more. Revenant X with the Ammo and Barrel X with Turbo Charged spec for Stability/Accuracy/RMP and Fortify spec all for extra tankiness with only 1 point in Nades I can see this becoming incredibly powerful. As you would largely get your accuracy and stability from Turbo Charge/Fortification you can then spec your passives for all damage/armor. I would go for +2% increased damage from all sources stacking up to 12 times over the bonus crit damage as things like Beserkers don't seem to have a crit spot and once the Hydra's eye is destroyed its no longer crit-able, Ahdi as well seem to have crits on there sides which is hard if not impossible to hit if they are charging at you and I believe the same goes for Wraiths and Fiends as there head is not actually there weak spot. Become an unkillable bullet hose. Berserker crit spot is their head, Hydra you can shoot the little light on the top of them.

I used it once and said "never again" so I might be mistaken. Perhaps one day when the people who balance this game are throwing darts at their balance wheel we will see some form of the Saber or a DLC where we can at least look at it again

Say, Accuracy and Stability, what do they affect? My impression is that there are 3 properties relevant to gun accuracy::
1. Bullet cone base size (i.e. how far a bullet deviates from the center of the crosshair based on RNG). 2. Bullet cone growth/bloom/whatever/max size (i.e. simulated recoil). 3. The actual gun kickback (how hard the cursor/screen moves/shakes as you fire).
Which stat affects what?

Stability kept the weapon/reticle shake in check. I assume this is the same in MEA but I haven't really done any testing yet. There is one major difference in MEA however: shotguns now have a separate bullet spread stat, in ME3 that was affected by accuracy too.

Been levelling him the last couple of days. Planning on completely skipping over the granande.
Been using a few new weapons as well, really like the Thokin though the mag/clip sizes stinks...so I use the thermal clip gear. Soned is pretty sweet as well with turbocharged.

Good to know, sadly Bersekers are face to face with me 99% of the time (Always playing Vanguard) Drilling them in the face doesn't seem to do much of anything so I just assumed they had no weak spot.
