[Build] This Is Great! - The Combo Happy Krogan Engineer

For those looking for a more visual cue of the build in the MEA MP Builder

I've done a few golds with her... The trick is to play both aggressively and carefully at the same time. Try not to rely too much on rage activating at low health. Weaken enemies and finish them with a headbutt a couple times to get it going and then just refresh every now and then before the timer is up. The 20 DR isn't great, but it's better than nothing and the extra shield regen is a big bonus. Shieldgating has saved me quite a bit.

Though I still think Rage needs to be reworked a bit- faster health regen and a better balancing of 6a and 6b because no one really takes 6b right now. It could easily be balanced better by moving the 33% health activation to Inspiration and keeping the -1 melee attacks in Berserker.

Then it's mostly hit and run tactics. Use your abilities to stun enemies with combos (fire combos for armored targets, tech combos for shields and synths) and finish them with your gun while they're still reeling.

Are you still squishy? Yes, but so are several other gold viable classes. Heck, you slow down for an instant with the Asari Adept and you'll go down much faster even with Saving Barrier.

But overall, she's been fun to play. Slap on a cooldown recharge consumable, some disruptor ammo, and go to town. I've actually topped a few gold lobbies with her.

She's definitely not the faster killer but I enjoy playing her a lot. She's basically the human engi from ME3.

However, I am not 100% sure really how useful she *as a character* is. I enjoy immensely exploding everything with her but I feel that 95% of the damage I am doing with her comes from shooting with the Talon rather than her or her abilities.

Buff tech powers/explosions pls.

That's the problem with every Powers character at the moment. Supposedly the Great Patch will make everything better. We'll see.

Woot! Let's hope that the Great Patch will make tech combos really worth our time! I am dying to have an engineer at least half (or a third xD) as good as the Quarian male one from ME3.

Seems really squishy to me too, almost feels like I'm playing alongside 3 Infiltrators whenever I use the kit. The patch might help by buffing her TTKs but she'll still be a magnet for enemy fire.

I use the same build as JRandall0308, or at least I will once I've finally ground out the last 2 levels to get rank 6 in her passives. Apparently, Elemental Tech boosts the damage from any Tech Bursts or Fire Explosions you create so that's another reason to choose it over the other evo.
