I also recommend that borderless window option, for some reason I didn't see it straightaway, but it does fix any issues with switching (and makes switching quicker/less disruptive). On some systems it might be marginally slower than dedicated fullscreen, but any slowdown isn't noticeable on my desktop, at least.
Matter of fact, if I can, I use borderless window for any and all games that have it as an option.

So tried the windowed borderless option. Origin in game doesn't work.

I still don't see why it's a problem. Is it so hard to press Alt+Enter when going back to the game? Try doing it multiple times because someone suddenly had a message for you and you keep going back to game thinking the conversation is over. Also, the game's screen is usually on top after alt-tabbing and sometimes you accidentally press it. So besides pressing alt tab, you also press other parts of the screen or press windows D so it just show desktop instead then click your supposed window that you're supposed to be in rather than Mass Effect Andromeda. Also, because it actually is a problem AKA a bug. |
