NHL 22So far today only got one game in, mind you I got a lot more games in over the last couple of days and well...one of those things. Biggest notes though from all of this is that A. the second line has caught fire for me recently in addition to all the other depth scoring I've been having. Also some injuries and B. also mostly from the second line not only has caught fire but in a specific way of using Hall's speed and Zacha's size to really create a lot of nice opprotunities. One or the other of them would get the puck, then fire it in, usually Zacha, would fire it in, then Hall would bury the rebound in front of the net. Really happened two or three times over the last few games. So Zacha is up around 45 goals, Hall is up around 41 goals and 75, 76 points. Bergeron has about 75 points and 34 goals. Pastrnak is up to 96 points and 60 goals and we're only at like game 56. Krecji has like 21 goals as it looks like he's gotten hot since signing that contract for me. Coyle has like 30 goals and 500 career points now and Zacha also got his 200th goal. Gonna be curious may got through and see how these Bruins have done IRL versus how they are doing in my franchise in terms of stats to see where they are in things. So onto the Kings and some of these stats do apply but end up winning 7-2...7s have been wild for awhile now. On a lark I did check to see what the latest NHL game has done to its franchise mode and the only thing that stuck out to me in improvements I would like to see is EA mentioned that they played with the AIs shot logic. So they would shoot more, score more, but also shooting more would keep the save percentage respectable. Because all of this makes sense since its one of the biggest bugaboos that Ulmark and Swayman only have given up a few goals a game but don't have that good save percentage because the computer does not shoot a lot AND scoring has actually gone way up even in the last couple of years I think, especially since EA was probably a couple of years behind the curve so I would be really happy to hear and see more shots in general. Of coruse I also tend to get pissed when the comptuer players knife through my zone and I'm trying to check them like mad to keep them out and they just bounce off and score...and I am only playing on Pro to so that's a consideration!
ANYWAYS. The Kings. Story of the day back handed specials, but in a way for a lot of the time it was from a lot farther out and just floaters then usual because the Kings D was doing a good job putting people in front of the net so I had to skate around them but still were able to score. Pastrnak got his 60th off a backhand but he was one of the few who got it like point blank...like three times to but the first two times some back checking forced him to shoot late and he missed the net. Third time put it in. Both Seguin and Krecji kept their shots from a distance though. First Seguin skated around a Kings defender and put it in. Then Krecji also didn't really have to get around D but they were in the way so he backhanded it from WAY out and it just sort of floated in. Krecji had 2 goals. Coyle got his 30th in this game and then things have happened. Ghost Recon BreakpointMan this game is too frickin addictive. Wife's computer is in the shop, one of the reasons I was playing so much hockey lately...but I couldn't quite stay away from Ghost Recon. ANd part of the reason was I wanted to test out my build that I had started to develop for our mutual playthrough together. And to my slight surprise I'd already started to do said build in it. Granted I am not sure the stocks are the same but the rest of the equipment is. Also weird what you forget after not playing a game for awhile and just how different the co op and SP experiences can be with the squad. Like in Wildlands even if you are playing Co Op you still hear your team chat about stuff and make their jokes, its unrealistic and weird, but interesting. In Breakpoint A. that does not happen but you don't realize it because you are chatting with the people you are playing with more. So its actually nice having a full squad in the field, my big dream is to actually be able to play this regularly with 3 other people so we can decide on team roles more. Plus the AI squad does use abilities forgot about that. And forgot about same of my physical looks and what not. SOmehow I did get the Crye G3 premium content, they do occasionally give out free Ghost coins, so was able to take advantage and I do have different visual pallets which didn't set up with the wife because she wasn't that into doing it. So was able to rock out my jungle garb since spent a lot of time in the jungle doing missions. So as far as what I did yesterday again main objective testing out the build which I didn't even think of being a thing for awhile but then I realized it was an interesting possibility. And in so doing man I kind of realized running two weapons is kind of OP and one weapon is actually pretty a practical way of doing things and realistic. And secondly had to decide exactly how I was going to go about doing this since I like doing missions so ended up actually replaying a lot of Red Patriot Missions. Apparently you can't restart individual missions in Conquest Mode. But just was using the 416 with the short barrel in the MAWl-DA almost exlusively. Which fun the short barrel takes 10 percent off range and the MAWL-DA adds ten percent so it balances out to the base range. Only time I dragged the M82 out to play was after realizing one of the missions I played took me to one of my favorite sniper's play grounds in the Jace Skell Dam. And was pushing shots out around 500 meters and even the Barret was experiencing bullet drop, though not much even with a suppressor on. Still got into a little trouble. So in the end basically other then that one encounter was using the 416 kind of as a 'sniper rifle'. The results were, as I referenced above with the one weapon thing, really interesting. Granted I did just realize I have the plus 60 range perk on my character to, but even then for this character the results were...well interesting lol. The bad thing about this is I had to go down first person sights for much of it which I prefer third person whenever I can but I ended up making long shots. Like 200 meters I was pushing and then 250 at one time. Though it continues to be interesting the bullet drop actually seems to sometimes happen via different factors which would be amazing like if so. Because at times I had to start compensating for bullet drop with the 416 at the 200 meters but then I nailed a guy without compensating at 250 meters. Its just highly realistic but whoa. The neat thing about this though is this, again, kind of strikes me as realistic because I am pretty sure an AR, IRL does have a max range of about 400 meters. But most games, even Breakpoint, just can't render that far out so they have to kind of crunch things. So long story short just any ranges do strike me as being really neat and realistic and eye opening because I remember the Shooter franchise of the PS2 era, the Conflict series, I remember the maps and how that game rendered only about 100 meters was about the max for sniping. So this has been really fun that I am shooting people at two football fields away with a weapon that has no business reaching out that far based on my youth. Hard to wrap the mind around. Of course this got me into a couple of neat firefights with the thing like one on top of a building and then another just plugging away and then retreating when I took fire. All this brings me today and again had a really neat fire fight. Was trying to talk to the wife so I was distracted but went into a building to clear it, didn't see anyone, so I worked my way out again but a Sentinel grunt was in there and he didn't see me later...until I started walking out. So all the bad guys heard the gun fire this activated the whole base. My team went loud and also just neat to hear the deep booms of Vasily and Fury's DMRs that I have them set up with. But it was just neat seeing all the fire coming in at me and me plugging away with the 416 in single shot, third person over the shoulder. Just pew pew pew, dying Sentinel, taking fire, leaned out to put fire on the auto turret which was neat as hell. I am so relectant sometimes to give this game a tier 1 rating but man does it scratch the itch sometimes. Oh and a lot of the other time when I wasn't getting into fire fights I was doing a lot of really cool ghost shit. Like going into a base, just interogating the target I needed to interogate, and then leaving again with no one really the wiser. Or one guy took me awhile to find but I killed just the target I needed to eventually and then left without clearing the base. I love this stuff. Yeah EA always says stuff liok etha twhen i tcomes t otheir sports gamesbu tyeah I onl ypla yon semi-pro o rPr omyself on Fifa23/FC24 and I kno wthat's no tth ehardes tdifficult yas I htink there's a tle as t3 or 4 moer difficulty settings above me. NHL 22
So two games up tonight to make sure I get the games I want to get in done because I am trying to finish the franchise and move on for other games lol.
First up against teh Flames and this was the main showcase of the night though. For about half the game was down 2-1 as they got a couple of goals and then...I wanna say Zacha scored. Not sure at all. But this game had a lot of wild story lines. First Taylor Hall had a goal called off which Krecji shot, rebound, he buried...and now that I am thinking of it I do not remember what the commentators said was the reason it was waved off so initially I thought it was goalie interference which would've been bull because of the circumstances. But it stood at 2-1 Flames. Little bit later went on the power play, got shots going, and this is where Pastrnak took over the game essentially, in part, though these events aren't quite in order as it was not a natural hat trick...but another hat trick for Pasta. 63 goals, 99 points on the season. First goal off the face off on the PP and he went in in the 'high left D spot' and fired a slapper home for like his 7th PP goal of the season. Second goal the normal back handed thing I have done this time buried. Third goal was the sweetest of the set though as he did the backhanded thing again but this time Markstrom made the save, but it came right back at him as he was going by so he leaned across the net on the forehand and flicked it home. Hall would get what I think would end up being the game winning goal...actually wait maybe it should've been Pasta. But the neat goal of the day to and really ironic is Hall...the D gets the puck high right, fires it home, and it bounced off Hall and into the net. This time the refs did wave it off again and I thought this time it was fair play as he was basically being consumed BY the net so thought there would have been no way it wouldn't have been goalie interference...but then the faceoff came right back at center ice so it stood. Then things got weird and desperate as they scored two really cheap goals, or at least one REALLLLYYY cheap goal that just leaked past Swayman and another goal on the next shot to make it 5-4 Bruins. Of course they emptied the net and I brought the first line out, hoping to get it to Pasta so he could get his 100th point somehow but it didn't work, things got desperate even with five seconds left but Sway made a couple of saves to hold onto the lead.
Next game against the Ducks and with Pasta being on his fated 99th point of the season, one short of his 100th, and given that he had his 4 goal game against the Ducks IRL and has had two with me in this franchise so AT LEAST 3 four goal games against the Ducks in this reality I was really licking my chops that he'd get his 100th. Well he did. But just a single assist. Marchand scored two. Zacha scored 2. 7-2 Bruins. Also had like four penelties in a row so Ulmark had to fend off 30 Plus shots again. They had 21+ shots on the PP...but I held and killed off all four of them in a row in the third period. I found it amusing that Carlo got penelized TWICE during this sequence. All four interference penelties. But held on for the 'easy' win.
Power Wash Simulator
Well I have been intending to continue on with this game for the PSP stuff but A. started playing GR with the wife and only so much time in the day to do stuff. No real regrets just interesting. And B. am just weary of this game because of the potential weirdness of the save system AND that not sure how much this game is my cup of tea...hence Hockey and I actually did play...way too much....of the next game in this journal.
Anyways though the save system does actually auto save mid job so thank god for that. So with that in mind finished 2 and a half jobs. Liked the Bike. Just a nice little five minute job and such a breath of fresh air after the backyard.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Wanted to finish the mission from this morning, continue to test builds, and do another Faction mission. Probably won't be doing this too much in the future so probably going to be the last night for this. Probably. Until Wifey gets computer back.
Well I did have to restart the mission from the beginning which given how much I was distracted earlier, through no fault of anyone, I did miss some details. Like how if you get noticed Oracle's awareness goes up (whatever that means) and I definitley got noticed in that first base.
So cue me going all really super secret ghost shit through this mission to find out where Oracle is. And I pretty much did it. A couple of tihem were touch and go but I didn't actually get into a single gun fight in my investigations. The funniest moment was at the final base I worked my way to 'his office' to get him and thought it might've been him, and well once more trying to test out builds so went in with my 416 and didn't snipe him from a distance. Well entered the room, just stared at him for some reason for a second, and shot him...it wasn't him. He was in a road convoy.
Well I tried to ambush him and a full on patrol and even Wolves stumbled upon me so I got into my first gun fight of the day. Didn't take too much time to get through it but for some reason Oracle wasn't coming at us. So had to just stay in position and then eventually I tripped it. wWell my baseline plan was to just mine the road, blow him up his vehicle but even if it was just an escort then call in a missile strike if he got stopped. Well he plowed right through so that didn't work. Second plan just call in a gattling strike from a helicopter. It worked.
My Faction mission got a lot more crazy and stupid on me as with the mission this morning I got caught by someone I really should have seen. So the whole base was alerted so had to go loud and even went down briefly as I was dueling with someone ran out of ammo and couldn't get the pistol around fast enough to get everyone. So that was fun. But slowly did clear the base and it was kind of a neat, but also for reasons frustrating set piece. They had two rocket gunners and two mortars set up so they were just laying in explosions for us quickly and had to keep dodging them. But eventually we laid in enough fire to sweep out the gunners and mortars. It was neat.
The actual theft of the helicopter was neat enough though as there was two heavies and a bag man intel guy on target. An Azrael came in so I had to lay low but I figured that while this wa shappening I could still line up shots with my squad on the objective. I could. The Azrael did not notice us andmy team took care of business. Then I discovered that if a guy is considered an intel guy then synch shot does not kill them, just knock them down. But I didn't need him this time.
So yes overall my experiments with the 416 with a short barrel have revealed a ton of good results. Granted still don't know how it would be like without the range boosts but still am able to plug at targets from 200 meters away easily and what it lacks in long range stopping power I'm still able to put enough follow on shots on target to still prevent them from alerting the base...at least usually.

SWTOR
I didn't really take a break. I started Chapter 3 and did a little hostage saving and then went to a prison break planet to free some prisoners. Sound weird maybe, but wartime calls for special measures (and they were kinda setup, had bad intel and the higher up just saved their asses).
The Republic is officially at war with the Empire now! So havoc squad is getting all sort of juicy missions and pissing off the top Imp general in the process.
I also went and saved some other prisoners, but those were prisoner of wars that the Imps hide on a station. It was a trap, again (it's like the 3rd time in the story lol), but we brought back the most people home possible.
ESO
I nuked it from my PC again.
I guess I should roll a character in Skyrim again for my TES fix and that mean updating mods (like 30 of them).

Aliens Dark Descent So the argument between Deputy Administrator Maeko Hayes and Sgt Harper has valid points on both sides. However, I think Hayes is right; repairing the comms has an edge over hunting down the source (who/where/why) of the infestation. As it is, they have to work together with what they have on the USS Otago. There are only 11 marines left. Most of them died during the bombardment or killed in the crash. A squad comprise of four marines and they each come with their character failures and quirks. One is described as a coward. Another, undiscipline. Another, a conspirator. Man, I need to get back to that game. I got probably halfway or more, but then hit a few bugs that affected mission progress and haven't played since.
I had a real nice main squad and an almost developed backup team. Toward each mission's end I alerted the Hive and had a nicely defended kill zone to go through all stages of Alert. Farmed Exp this way. The Sergeants really carried me through. Could lay tons of mines around the place.
I'd suggest not bothering because I have just encountered a game breaking bug that the devs did not seem to have fixed. Additionally, it also looks like they're not bothering with the game any more. I cannot progress the game because the quest is fixated on connecting Maeko to the station cameras. I've already done it and the game is asking me to do it again. There is no interactive point at the security station. The camera icon is there but I cannot activate anything. It's too bad because the game is fun. I've read that some players encountered no bugs while others do so the bug strike seem to be rather random.

This sucks. The game managed to do some things quite well and overall grab the Alien atmosphere. It could have been more, but even this state would be great if it wasn't for the mission breaking bugs.

Ok, I did a verified files and restarted the mission although I was already 60% done. There was definitely a glitch because there were some missing dialogues that failed to kick in. They kicked in when I tried again. I decided to wait for the two to finish talking before moving the squad so the objectives are updated. The objective after going to the second floor was to find the security room and link Maeko in. I did that previously so I thought; let me try to find the objective without activating the cameras. I went to where the objective is but there's no interactive option. Obviously, I have to give Maeko the camera feed. I was all ready to have the game bug out again with the same objective later. Maeko got the feed and highlighted the couple of objectives. I decided to focus on the main. Previously, I went to the secondary objectives first. I was gratified to hear Maeko updating the main quest when I went to another room and she said; that's the captain of the mercenaries. Search him for the command code. She didn't say anything at all in the previous attempt when I went to that room so I knew I had gone past the mission glitch. By the by, I finished the second floor objectives and opened the third floor. Yay! Hopefully, there're no bugs for the third floor.

NHL 22
Two games in today. Ah yes 10-2 against the Pitsburgh Penguins and 12-0 against the NJ Devils.
Kind of was musing how far Pasta could go now that he has officially hit 100 points. ANd well if he got 1 point a game pretty much that would be about 120 points. WEll it was the Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak show. Marchand 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points. And for awhile it was just keeping up. Like from the very first shift of the game Marchand scored, Bergeron scored, and there was that Pasta picked up a point or two. Then he just was able to take over and his four goals, well the last two were beauties as he twisted around and then sniped one through on a breakway. Just slammed a puck home from Marchand.
The game against the Devils was a bit fun since facing off against Blackwood and he has occasionally been a thorn in my side and my dump in game I was trying to dump the puck in a lot and it just wsa not having a lot of success at all. Yet I ended up winning 12-0. Of course the game got really out of hand when they put in their backup...which wasn't until the third period...so I guess I had to score like 7 goals. And after the last game and the first line just going crazy the first line only contributed to one goal, from Marchand. The Fourth line was the main party as they scored five of the goals. Van Riemsdyk, Geekie had two goals, Fredric got his 30th. Then Debrusk and Zacha also had two goals. Plus Seguin and maybe Hall.

GW2I started the volcano episode, so my little necro is near boiling point right now. Because somehow there is a sea inside the volcano. SkyrimI updated my mods. Then I tried to start and it was complaining about the all the mods and I didn't realize at first that it was because they were all disabled. The culprit was a mod I didn't update because the author on Nexus chuck the update at the bottom of current instead of the top on the mod download page. Also, after doing that I've been thinking of going back to Morrowind instead. I just need to scourge its mods options to see if I can modernize that combat a bit.

I tried to make a Morrowind modded install and I had so many errors with missing meshes after installing mods that I just nuked the whole thing. I have enough debugging to do at work. My Skyrim install is going great thought, it's raining in the intro cave, but it's going great beside that.

SWTORMy Trooper finished Voss storyline and that was very basic. Almost done with the core class story too, some political hearing stuff and then off to the last planet and dealing with the Imp bad guys. I remember really liking the final of the Trooper story. Haven't seen it in like 10 years thought. SkyrimMade it out of the cave and to Riverwood and now I'm wondering if the "rain" wasn't some ambient thing instead of actually rain because it wasn't "raining" in all the cave system. Just some place of it. I made a Breton, he's going to use sword and board and summon none-undead thingies...once I get a conjuration spell to do that. I got a mod that redefine races and remove all spells otherwise my Breton would already have a conjure wolf spell. I tried to make a Morrowind modded install and I had so many errors with missing meshes after installing mods that I just nuked the whole thing. I have enough debugging to do at work. I finally settled on not modding it myself except for using the console for stuff but using a Nexus Collection of Mods, it changed it's name so it took me a while to find it but will download it either this afternoon or tomorrow once I do all the prep for doing that as there some config things I need to put some lines into etc. It will continue to be a part time PT when I am in the mood, MEA is always fun but I am also wanting to go back and play some more HZD FW even after one complete PT and a main story NG+ PT.

Aliens Dark Descent Well the Atmospheric Processor level is nuts! I lost the first squad at the second level and reloaded a few times There're a number of blocked paths of two rather large maps. Some of the paths can be demolished but the noise inevitably brought the xenomorphs. They get more aggressive when eggs are destroyed. I usually use the flamethrower for this and burning ambushing xenomorphs in the vents. The third level is the boss fight which is of course, an Alien Queen. This mission also involves rescuing survivors and attention must be paid to the datapads found. I have to say though I didn't pick up the info on two of the survivors before I found them so I didn't know if I should kill them or rescue them. I had to look it up. Maeko will also say something about the survivors so even if the info on the survivors is not found, what she said hinted on whether to kill or rescue. For once, I managed to pick up all the datapads for this mission.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Got some contradictory and maybe even misinformation and well though it was enough of a shot though to give it a try to confirm it for myself...and well the wife's comp is still in the shop so went on to try and see if cross play was possible between the 5 and the PC. And well it didn't work out, as I figured. But I did run two missions while waiting for the confirmation.
And it was quite fun, one of those situations where going to one area for a Faction mission led to another area for a faction mission. Actually bit of a weird highlight of this game to realize with this recent playing. The Faction missions are pretty much ambient repititive BS that risks getting into Vietnam territory in repeat venues. But on the flip side it does provide wonderful replauability for those YouTube videos for people to just run around with, practice, try out builds, or just kill some time if you got an itch to do something but don't actually want to run through the story. So like Skyrim this game never ends...though they could have also made Conquest mode infinitley replayable to in this fashion would've helped given the nature of that, but they didn't for some reason.
ANYWAYS enough gushing and onto the actual missions. First mission rare mission to extract a Sentinel Commander that I just bumbled upon trying to find info on the assisination mission I was running. And well probably owing to me rushing it got into a bit of a firefight and didn't notice things. Nice how oblvious you can be even with the UI turned on though I wasn't thinking. Just took out a guard in a post across from me...not noticing that there was a guard post right next to me and the guard heard the shot...even though it was suppressed. No real complaint have been viewing some combat footage lately and suppressors can still run loud. So the guard had to come out of the guard post and heard him go 'OK follow me'. So two guards started coming around the corner and got one...got two...but didn't get the third guard across the field fast enough and they started firing. Flipped around and laid fire on soldiers behind me and my wife started imitating the 416 and then it was funny because it started plinking off metal which she also imitated. Bit of a nice firefight though as I stayed in roughly the same POS and just waited for them to come to me before clearing out the rest. Then it was funny to because wasn't sure if I should deal with the mortar or not so I got the Commander and started to extract him...but accidentally dropped him. On the way back the mortar fired and the red bit came up with him right in the middle. So I guiltily waved good bye expecting a mission failure...but somehow he tanked it. Destroyed the mortar and then made my extract.
Next mission just one of those assisinations I get a huge kick out of. Scanned the area so I knew where he was. Put on the armor piercing ammo and shot right through the building...then extracted cackling madly all the way.
NHL 22
Think I set a record against the Detroit Red Wings. I gotta love it. 14-0 on pro. Gonna be interesting like I would think about turning up the difficulty for the next season...but I don't think there will be a next season. Got so much I do want to get to playing so might have bit off more then I can chew. But 14-0. Big story though was the computer did something extremly rare to itself. They gave a Detroit player a 10 minute game misconduct which put me on the powerplay for five minutes. It also was the first time I have ever seen a game misconduct on an open ice hit...actually wait that's not true. But certainly for the computer as the player in question like cross checked Geekie in the back...twice. At that point it was just 6-0 in the third period. I would go on to score 5 goals on that powerplay. Pretty much I think all back handers...well maybe not the Seguin one. But Pastrnak got the scoring started for his 68th. Then Bergeron, Krecji X2, Seguin. The other Krecji goal was a thing of beauty as Pasta collected the puck down deep in my zone and flipped it to him down ice for a breakway. I did get a short hander early in the game to, forgot who got that one, but it was one of those nice ones where the goalie couldn't handle the puck so it rebounded right to one of my guys skating down the ice who flipped it in to a basically wide open net. Just good timing.
Second game against Montreal similar situation. Up 6-2 in the 3rd finished with 11-2 I believe. Maybe this is the one Marchand scored last minute...yeah I think it was. Otherwise big stories in the game My Power play went 4/4 after going 5/6 against Detroit. Zacha had two very similar Powerplay goals, Seguin, Pastrnak. Pasta got two goals overall so he is now up to 69 (nice) then 70!. And only at game 63...up to 110 points to. Seguin and Zacha meanwhile have been getting into quite a goal off. For most of the season Seguin has been running away as pretty much my second best scorer but Zacha has really been coming on strong of late as I am pretty sure they both have 53 goals and are within a point of each other. Of course both of them have really been kicking it up recently too as Zacha I believe got four goals in two games and then Seguin got back to back hat tricks. So that is six goals and helps explain why they are BOTH doing so well. And Seguin did have some time on the DL earlier in the season to.
Oh and forgot what game it was but even more amazing Morgan Geekie now has 50 points. On the fourth line. And he has also missed some time.

SWTORGetting ready to touch down on war-torn Corellia with Havoc Squad...and I think I'm going to continue playing my squad commander for a bit longer after that. Not sure if I will skip Makeb or not. I did it once on a none-force user. It was a long time ago. SkyrimI still haven't found a conjuration spell that doesn't conjure undeads. Also, I'm not quite sure what to do with my character and I can't play Skyrim without an objective, I get bored fast. Maybe I should go with a stealth/thieving character instead of my Breton idea (but I wanted to shield bash people) and finally do the Thieves Guild (well finish it). It's the only guild storyline I never finished.

Update
SWTOR
Core story done on Trooper. Corellia, its civilians and old museum ship saved. Bad Imps General defeated (but not killed and Saresh is an idiot but she's the Republic Chancellor so...).
Somewhat regretting not romancing Elara, but we are best friend.
Next some story flashpoints I skipped, then Ilum and more flashpoints and then deciding if I do Makeb or not...and then more story flashpoints before Shadow of Revan, but those are short compare to the others.
GW2
My little Asura ninja-necro survived the volcano episode. Somehow how the fastest boss fight at the end of all the times I've done it (which is a lot). Usually I have to do the mechanic like 4 times, but it only took 2 this time. Yeah me! One episode left and then I can start Path of Fire with my little genius smartass.

Aliens Dark Descent
The WY is a piece of ass sh*t company and I'd almost say anyone, particularly the bosses, employed by the WY can't be trusted except that it's not true. Maeko is turning out to be a reliable and trustworthy administrator, Although a civilian, she's making solid and sound judgements towards getting everyone off planet. The marines trust her implicitly.
Game emphasizes on stealth than outright fight against the Aliens. Honestly, flat on the ground, it's impossible to win. However, Alien numbers are finite anyway, with each Alien warrior / drone possible only if there are organic bodies for them to reproduce. The only way to win on the ground is to have an endless supply of ammo and intense fire power to cut down the numbers until there are no more in the hives except for eggs and the queens.
Edit. Just saw an update on Homeworld 3 which saw a number of changes, as requested by long time players / fans, in the demo. Imo, good changes.
I have to 😂 when I heard that there was unhappiness because the Mothership was horizontal by default. In Homeworld 1 and 2, the Mothership was always vertical. As a matter of perspective, really, there's no right way up in space so it shouldn't matter. However, I understand the unhappiness. I, too, am used to a vertical Mothership. The devs heard and made changes so players can turn the Mothership to a vertical position.
I'm looking forward to this. I think I would be finishing ADD soon.

NHL 22
So yeah it kind of occured to me that in the other two seasons Pasta would kind of be middling and then turn it up in the second half of the season. Well he was starting off this season on fire and then trailed off just a bit but then he just continues to explode back up to just a whole nother level. On today's show...well the Flyers 9-1 and then the Devils 10-4.
And against the Flyers, another team he traditionally does well against, he just continued to tread it up oto another level. About 4 goals worth of awesome. Also Taylor Hall contributed and then the fourth line as Van Riemsdyk and Geekie scored. Actually kind of fun to, remembering more, the Hall goal was a nice little wrap around that made a little 'plink' sound as it hit the side of the post and then trickled in. Other hillarious goal, like in the beginning the Flyers starting goalie just was a birck wall...21 shots in the first period...and only went in. But the first one that went in was just this little gimme shot from the point as DeBrusk just put it on net, the goalie saved it, but then it just trickled in to tie it at one at the time.
The Devil game was a bit of a weird one at times. First off big story of the game it was Karrlason's 1000th game of his career. He got an assist. But he also put the puck into the net all on his own after trying to make a play on it. Other big story though was the first line. WEll Bergeron got hurt last game against the Flyers and he'll be out for a bit. Seguin and Gryzlik have also been having their own issues as well so had to juggle the lineup around a bit. Have Zacha now as the first line center and well the NHL now has him up to 90 overall...so honestly just as good as Bergeron just without the X Factor abilities so kind of curious about the results though Bergeron is Bergeron so he does deserve that first line center spot unless something seriously changes. Anyways the first line really went off contributing for 7 of the 10 goals. Pastrnak with his second hatty in two games, Zacha had two, Marchand had two. Marchand had a ncie little wrap around on a powerplay goal that was nice. Pastrnak had a goal on the PP as well which was one of the more ironic goals ever. One of the commentators, Ray Ferraro, was right in the middle of saying 'Pastrnak has had an amazing week right-' and then he snapped a goal home on a breakway, which I think completed the hat trick, up to 77 on the season. Kind of annoyed me that he wasn't able to complete the sentence since its so rare we get to hear new dialogue in a sports game, but I guess that is just how good of a steak he has been on. Coyle also picked up his 30th to make the Bruins go 3/3 on the PP against the Devils.

SWTOR
Meh more flashpoints, so much trash to kill!
I've done 2 of them and completed Ilum storyline to gain access (story access) to the other twos I have to do for the story to finish the base game stuff. I kinda like what my Trooper said: "Taking down Darths never get old".
It's somewhat amusing that when you play a force user, you are like this superior beings that everyone is in awe off with a destiny. But when you play as the Trooper everything is just "another day at the job" including killing those force users. But then my Trooper can hear force ghosts...
I also made a new consular, because it's still double XP for a few days and I got tired of pew-pew after the first two flashpoints, but I should probably just stick to the one I already go who is in KOTXX. I like the look of the new one thought.
Also, I should probably try to bring my last Smuggler to 80 (she's at 67).

SWTOR update
I didn't feel like leveling a new character, so I went and changed my previous Consular look to my new Consular look and just continued where she was at in KOTFE. We reached Asylum now, so about 1/3 into that expac. I'll try to get halfway tomorrow, just to lock in my romance with Lana.
Vaylin will remain the best voice acted character in the game.
I both like and hate KOTXX, I like it because it's great production quality in term of cutscenes and presentation. I hate it because it spawns too much skytroopers and the story never take a breather, you move from missions to missions and there is like no side quests.
As a note, I totally don't remember what choices I made with the character previously... I might end up with some surprises.

Aliens Dark Descent
Dang. I never saw that coming. I love Maeko's confrontation with Pryce. I never saw Maeko's insight at all. I went; of course! That's a possibility. Given what's in Ridley Scott's horrible, to me, new Alien movies.
But is Maeko right about Pryce? I wouldn't know. On the other hand, Pryce could be just extremely dud in her job. Like those promoted not by merit, not because they're talented. Just an automaton who could execute company policies exactly as they were meant to be. The end of the cutscene on that mission was terrifying.
The next mission might be the last but maybe not but I'm definitely close to the end.
