Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen. Well, not everything. It's very wild out there in the 2 continents, but I'm doing great.

TW III Presently on treasure hunt. Came across random requests from peasants to get rid of monsters. No rewards but it's fine when they came running up, expressing thanks. I really wonder that anybody could build and live in such dangerous lands. At any minute or moment, some monster appeared out of nowhere and gobbled up somebody. It's a wonder humans could establish any foothold. By the by as I play, a wolf spider came poking along the table. I don't whop spiders unless they send creepy crawlies up my spine. I tolerate wolf spiders because they can be rather cute. I poked a finger to prevent it from running into my keyboard and it went off exploring. When next I looked up, it was staring at my watch under the monitor. It sat there and stared and stared. I stopped playing and watched what it would do. Eventually it crawled to the rim of the glass face, staring at the moving seconds hand. For two minutes it stared, then it moved onto the AC remote control next to the watch as though to put distance between itself and the watch and went back to staring at it. Another minute or two, it came back to me, moved near the mouse and I chased it back. Now it's back to staring at the watch.

I played Old Man's Journey. It's a VERY short game. Took me about 2 hours. Great little sliding puzzle adventure for when you want an alternative to a movie night. I recommend it when on sale. I paid about 8 bucks I think. Was worth it. I really like the art style and music of this sentimental journey. You embark on a long journey from your little house at the sea: You get flashbacks to this man's life on your journey and at the end you learn where he's headed... There is no dialogue. It's all told through images.
Entire story as follows (with lots of screenshots): Every time he sits down to rest a flashback triggers. The first one is how he met his wife at a party (no screenshot). Each screen is a puzzle where you need to figure out how to get the man across the terrain. It's not particularly difficult but requires a bit of fiddling to get right. Once you arrive at the end of each section, you have to click on something to trigger some action that propels the story forward. The man and his woman used to travel together back in the happy days: Then he proposed on a boat. Apparently his girl wasn't too keen on boats... In the present the old man travels by train and car and boat. You have to steer or connect roads to get ahead. Sometimes you have to move sheep out of the way. Those were the most annoying puzzles... The man had a daughter with his wife. However, he longed for the sea: He put together a journey around the world in a boat but his wife did not approve... So he went by himself... Oh yeah, and the old man travels by hot air balloon too. The old man traveled the world by himself for a long time. He missed his wife dearly. So he returned, only to find the family home deserted: So he built himself that house next to the ocean: He left it eventually when he received a letter from his daughter. Her mother was dying... The journey ends at her bedside: After her death, his daughter agrees to travel with him on his beloved boat. She always liked boats. just like her father. Her granddaughter comes along too. Bittersweet story!

More VTMB with ClanQuestMod. I played through the Sabbat questline as a spy for the Camarilla and it was really nice, what the modder did there. If you really side with the Sabbat (when meeting Andrei in the basement of his house), you have some more quests and from Chinatown on all quests will be given to you by Ducti (packleader) and later Andrei (who in this scenario is archbishop of L.A.). The modder made a whole set of new models for the characters, you meet. And a new area is available, East L.A. They even find a decent voice actor to do the new lines fo Andrei, which cannot have been easy, but the guy does a terrific job. My Nosferatu will of course be loyal to his clan (and the coolest primogen in the game, Gary), but I also made a Toreador, that will become full Sabbat. I find a Torrie fitting for that, because they can be really creepy, when they get bad.
With my Gangrel I'm stuck again in Griffith Park. The switch in the observatory is not working (never did, no matter, which patch version I use), so I have to use the noclip cheat for her, because otherwise, she can't get rid of the werewolf.
And on a sidenote: I so wish, I could play a Tzimisce in one of the games, they are my favorite clan. You can with the Antitribu mod, they even managed to get the Vissicitude discipline right, but the games really is buggy for me. At the moment, my proud Tzimisce can only walk very slowly and I can't change that. Oh well - still, nicely done. And since I can't play my Tzimi for now, I used the skin on my Gangrel

TW III Blood and Wine The colour scheme for this DLC is decidedly brighter but also odd. The surface of the water has an oily sheen and there's an overly light blue tint to "everything". Did they pour bright gamma into the pot? I had to put gamma setting in the lowest. After the first confrontation with the Beast and an arrangement to meet the friend at the cemetery, I dropped the main quest and went exploring. Closed monster holes and inadvertently doing SQs. Clearing out bandits camps, helping someone to finish a statue I think. I don't know which SQ is it. The vineyard SQ of a pair of siblings sent Geralt criss-crossing everywhere. Finished the SQ and decided I'll cool Geralt's heels in town. Picked up a SQ regards the stones of a statue. Come back and get a free feel? No thanks. Picked up a SQ about getting portrait done. Strike a pose. On horse? nah, I want Roach, not somebody's horse. Lie down? Ermmm, that doesn't look good either. Finally settled on heroic pose. Went to the last ! NPC said Geralt's money is in the bank. I've a bad feeling about it so I looked it up. What? No, not going to do paper chasing. Isn't it enough there's so much paper racing in RL that I've to do it in games? nah.

The statue stones quest is pretty funny.
Was quite pissed off at the end of the portrait quest.
Hatedhatedhated the paper chase quest, especially since the reward was miniscule compared to the gold I was already carrying around.
Sidenote: I'm currently reading The Tower of Swallows and Toussaint gets its first mentions in the book series. Hard to believe that place is actually part of Nilfgaard.

Do you know, I think the painting will turn out to be a Picasso. I remember the painting the Elf, forgot his name, did of an elven woman in the main game. The reveal when they left had me rotflol. Toussaint is part of Nilfgaard? Dang. I thought it's part of another country. It has that French feel to it; prose and wine.

Today I finally bought Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, so for the next few days my entire gaming time will be watching a progress meter. Good luck with the "Days" thing, it took me months to complete and that wasn't doing everything. Admittedly just doing the main story arc's of family and cult is doable much faster but just depends on what you are aiming to achieve experience I guess.

Loaded up a visual novel because of the Steam Spring Clean thingy. Was just going to check out maybe one path or something. Nope, ended up steam rolling through four bits, doing both good+best end for all and most of the scenarios. Got one story path left and maybe three extra adventures if the achivo's don't click in. But that was a nice thirst quencher. And made the next session of Pathfinder Kingmaker more pleasant. dazk Wasn't planning on switching to this one, but since you mentioned it, he does make a cute avatar as well Spoilers in spoilers, no pictures this time. Blasted music from the go while I scoured the House at the edge of Nonsense. Managed to do the Mirror quest, since I peaked at a guide and found out that the mirror was in a spot I could reach without a fight, that is when the whole floor wasn't aggro-ed like the last session. So managed to skip a tricky fight, which was real nice. Then tried my hand at the final fight in that area and hahaha. No. Not happening. Banged my head against a wall with few more encounters, then decided to try and kill that bloody troll. And success! Hurrah! And level up! Hurrah! And Greater Shout is lvl8 spell for Wizards! Huzzah? And Octavia can still only cast up to level 7! Drat! But now she's got Siccero as well, which I think is good. Even if it mostly ends up killing my mooks...But she's also got Legendary Proportions. Which felt like it helped. At least it makes Amiri look even bigger (and capable of snapping my spine in two ) Killed the Wild Hunt group in the mirror room as a revenge for their multiple brutal murders of my team. Then tried the big boss again and success! And per usual I am absolutely useless at carrying out my own threats, so Nyrissa was not fed through the meat grinder. Nor tossed into a vat of acid. Yet. For now we just shout LOVE PEACE LOVE PEACE at her. And she sneers. Rude. But wait! There are more chapters. And they actually started out kinda fun. The curse wasn't a biggie since my strategy is hit them with a stick until they are dead and only buff at a last resort. So since he didn't take my sticks things were good. Also because the game scaled the enemies to easy as well. That was real nice of them. The goodbyes at the end of that session were also quite nice. Even if you could only be nice in the conversation. Because this is the last time to let the grievances out yah know... Then of course if you praise this hunk of junk and it spits in your face :C The next area marked the return of the Wild Hunts and my annoyance. They seem to a be a lot easier now. Maybe because Ekun got a level in vivisectionist, maybe because we are level 18 now, maybe it's Maybelline? Still a massive pain, just a bit less than before. Beat our way through this mess, cursing all the way. Guessing I'm now at the final, final boss. Who's whopping my butt quite handily so packing my stuff and sulking for now. Maybe we'll win tomorrow. Maybe the game will get uninstalled. Won't know until it happens.... Grumbling aside it was still a fairly fun session.

TW III Did the hermit quest. So Roach is a mare but talks with a guy's voice. This quest is interesting. The VA reminds me of The Longest Journey where April Ryan has a bird (companion) of an unknown species called Crow; he looks like a crow to me anyway. He's nippy and always has funny things to say. Would be funny if Roach back talks to Geralt all the time. Also did the raining cows quest. For a moment, I thought it would be something quirky, like it's really raining cows. But alas, it's something more mundane.

TW III Geralt's portrait has me I also bought a few more more paintings from a merchant; Ciri's portrait and other landscapes. Saved the spotted wight instead of killing her. I'm also taken aback to learn she lived under the curse for a 100 years. How long had she to live once she turned back to human? In any case, she had suffered long enough. Mayhaps she'll find some peace before she goes. I really like the duchess. She's not one to let grass grow under her feet! She doesn't sit back and wait for results, she helps to get results. Hop hop, let's get to it. Presently investigating the wine. The fellow in charge of the wine deflated like a balloon after the duchess revealed why they're there.

The lady takes up residence there and seems to be quite happy puttering around as your new cook.
The Ciri painting always makes me laugh. She looks so hilarious in her poofy pink dress, and the pouty face is priceless. Would love to hear what she has to say about it now.

In Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, I managed to save the twin sisters of the first hub (who's name is escaping me atm). I did have to restart the game, because you need at least a seduction of 2 and a persuasion of 4 to pull this off. But I did it! I won't spoil anything more though, you want to know how to do that, you gots to do it yourself and find out! I'm playing a...I think its a ventrue (the good looking seductive ones). And I'm going full on Melee. I also found the asian vamp in the first hub, and destroyed the art gallery. I'm trying to buff up my strength, so I increase my melee and barehanded fighting skills. The better to grab enemies in a fight and drain them during it. I do wish this game had a morale system for the NPC's your fighting. Something where they can get scared and run from you, while your fighting them. Lets face it, they see someone take a shotgun blast to the chest, then sink their teeth into your friend and watch your friend fall over dead, while you start moving towards them, would scare the crap out of 90% of people. Ah well, its not perfect. Still a great game though! I'm going to try and stick with the Camerilla this time around. See if I can get that swanky new apartment from Lacroix. Normally, I like siding with the anarcs. But I've also never beated the game, so I'm hoping having the sherrif on my side would let the game go smoother.

Played Pathfinder Kingmaker today. So finished Kaira's run. All in all, it was pretty good. It turned out the be pretty generous with it's time limits, which was real nice. Combat was for the most part fun, except for the last chapter. Would have preferred fewer Wild Hunt groups and maybe more elementals or something. Like don't kick the Wild Hunts completely out, since it's a good learning curve for the end game, just tone them down a little. Spoilers about the final fight and end game situation in spoilers. Took 4 tries today to win the Lantern King. Each attempt a wee bit more successful than the one before.
The last one was pretty funny since I managed to get my team stuck in their own web while fighting the big ball of fire, so was basically just making Kaira cast mass heal over and over, since she was stuck right under the big guy while crossing fingers that somewhere under him Amiri and Valerie were kicking it's butt. I think Ekun was stunned and Regongar and Octavia were eating dirt so it was real good that he wasn't that hard. Heh. Then told him to "just forgedd about it" since I didn't want Kaira to become immortal, so the top two choices were out and I'm guessing that would also happen if tried to kill him?
And well, knowing me I'd probably get a bunch of unlucky rolls and die to him, so no chance of me risking that.
So basically threw Nyrissa under the bus and the rest lived happily ever after. All the companions ended up feeling pretty dandy, Tristian buggered off to his true love but the others kept some form of contact with Kaira afterwards, so that was nice. She also got some marriage proposals and no mention of whether she said yes or no, so just shipping that she eventually settled down with some nice Dwarven lad. Maybe one of the Skjegges? The Kingdom seemed fine. Pitax got to do it's own thing in the corner, no mentions of rebellions and people seemed generally happy with Kaira's reign of softness. So that was nice.
Only thing missing was a nice marked end save, but we can't get everything we want soooo. Then messed around a little with Halimar the third. Because wasn't happy with the old one nor the restart. Got a new twist on the Stag Lords fort since I actually found the two named henchmen standing by themselves and could deal with them private like (Valerie disapproves -8), so that was real nice. Also saw what happened when you pissed in poisoned the wine. And still he kept drinking. O_O And now Halimar has 60 days to laze around before claiming his rightful place as a god baron.

Path of Exile; managed to get a CI Witch up and running in Hardcore Synthesis, with enough energy shield to sustain herself as early as act 3. Then went to the beastmaster to get an anti-bleeding flask. I forgot to check the monster level and it was 68. I was like 34. Instant RIP and biggest facepalm in my Path of Exile playing days.

TW III Oh I can see why Blood and Wine is a fav and I've to say, it is mine too. I knew straight off why Oriana was the patron of the orphanage. I did that side of the quest just to see where it leads. I chose to do what Regis suggested; get Syanna to see Detlaff. The Fairyland is a nice place to rumble through, minus the dead bodies. I've no idea where the bunch of little guys with the same names appear in which fairy tale. Found the tiny village and the tiny people, Gulliver? Boy who cried wolf is hilarious. Ugh, bad ending for Rapunzel. Blowing the house down around three pigs love that one. Bought the scarf for Syanna which turned out to be a good thing. Killed Detlaff or rather, defeated him. Geralt's got a point about focusing on the bad and forgetting the good. Thus, I had him advised Syanna to forgive and to advocate for her during the trial. It won't be easy but I hope she would overcome the negatives and live positively thereafter. It's too bad Regis had to leave. In the epilogue, Yen dropped in. Guess they'll live in Toussaint. The house and everything is all done up, also have the old lady as cook. When Geralt told the old lady it's a big house, I was wondering where she's going to sleep because it doesn't seem that big to me. In the living room maybe? Altogether, a thoroughly enjoyable DLC. Maybe the devs would think of a continuation in future? I've got contracts not filled but I don't see the point of continuing. I'll perhaps do a NG+ sometime but definitely not now.

It's not easy to get Jeanette and Therese to work together. Took me some playtroughs to make that happen. A minor spoiler:you get the apartment from Lacroix, if you are polite and do his missions exactly, as he said (for example without drawing attention to you) relatively early in the game and you can still side, with whoever you want, the apartment is yours. If you like more content for a future play through, try the ClanQuestmod, it adds new content for every clan and a whole Sabbat storyline, that really is fun to play.

I enjoyed the DLC quite a bit but I wasn't happy with any of the main quest endings (I played a few different ones).
