You also forgot murder. All kinds of murder. There's currently 25 ways to die in Sims 4 (I counted them on the wikia), with another one coming up with the new expansion... Well, there are mods for more. Glorious mods Though I still think Death by Murphy Bed is one of the best ways to go. I only have base Sims 4 (when it was given out for free), don't own anything Sims 3 related and have huge nostalgia for 2. Unfortunately 2 doesn't want to cooperate with me anymore, so if I ever get Sims itch, I'm stuck with 4 Yup. I doubt it'll knock down Sims from its pedestal, but it's always nice to have alternative, so I'm wishing it the best.

Shadowrun Dragonfall. TL:DR did a couple of quests and suck at combat. Rambling version in spoilers. No pictures. Oh and spoilers. That too. Made it out alive with the Cyber Zombie in Shadowrun Dragonfall. It took many, many tries, cussing at the hit rate chance and a bit of cheesy tactics, but we made it. Then we took the control chip out of him and he popped his own head like an overripe melon, thus crushing my dreams of having him as a companion. But still, his head, his choice.
Got ambushed in the subway on the way back. It wasn't terribly sneaky, but needed two tries because I have no revive spells on hand and somebody had to get themselves smoked... Probably me.
Then made it back to town and realized I probably broke the game during the Trial Run. Since Simmy Kim and the old troll both lost their dialog bubble after that mission and they've still not gotten it back. Which is a bummer because they are both really likable and it seemed like there was a plot brewing. So that was a hefty punch in a motivation to play meter. Still, even less motivation to reload and replay the segments between, so alas.
Got a new quest from Blitz and accepted the Bloodline quest which I'm not sure I played, but not sure I didn't either... Either way, did Blitz quest since I'm kinda trying to do one quest a day if I can.
Glad I did because the quest was really fun. Had to restart it once the combat started, since I was lured into switching my smg to a generade launcher I couldn't use and other battle pains. But that led to me getting a new drone buddy and retiring the faithful doberman for the time being. This drone also has grenades and medi-kits, so much love to it.
Second run went smoothly, we dealt with the debt (even more permanent than we thought we would), got a little blackbox and our new accountant friend can go home and read his grandchildren some bedtime stories. Yay.
So play motivation got pretty high, so started working on the Bloodlines quest. First there was a little bit called Earwig, which was basically mucking up the comms of the guards in the Bloodline quest. It went kinda rocky, but learned some stuff. The red bar at the bottom in the matrix is the alarm bar and I'm amazed I haven't triggered it until now. There is also a suppression skill which lowers the bar a little bit, but takes long to recharge and uses up the whole turn. And Blitz actually has an arsenal of abilities to use in the matrix...including healing abilities. So, you live you learn.
Bloodlines itself was fairly interesting. Top floor had a soft core stealth mission, basically run across a hallway while a mook is turned around and cram yourself into a uniform, which fools the fellows on the top floor. Not so much the bottom floor and was too cheap to invest in enough Charisma to pass the check. So bottom floor was a massacre. And there was also a timer, which ran out and ended up not being that big of a deal. So that was real nice. There was some reloading, but considering things it went really smoothly. Got some data everyone is saying I should delete and not broadcast on the net. Hmmmm. And unleashed some poor, innocent souls into the harsh harsh world. Oh and blew up a massive building. No moral qualms there. No sirree.
Back at the base I went on the offensive with Glory since politeness was keeping me from her personal quest. And basically steamrolled through her dialog reel. Didn't get the quest though, but Eiger coughed up hers and I figure Glory will be ready after that.
Was starting to wonder if I fever dreamed Glory's quest at a point, but her later dialogs convinced me, yes, yes that hell was real and it's coming for me.
But not today. And probably not tomorrow since I'm kinda short on time there. But maybe during the weekend, it will pounce and all my nightmares will turn true. Sniffle. So that will be just grand.

Steam Prison Synopsis of the "Grand Ending" Cyrus realizes that if there is someone in her house sneaking, that she needs a sword. (in every other route, she just skips downstairs in her nightgown, swordless.) Because she is armed and on guard, she does battle with her ex fiance instead of getting knocked over the head (in the dining room.) Her parents do not die (they die every other route). She arrests her Ex Fiance and brings him to the Temple to be processed. The father of the ex fiance brings her off alone and attempts to murder her. Saint Yune interrupts and fiance's dad is arrested. She is approached by Saint Yune for a meeting. Saint Yune realizes he's turned a blind and bored eye on the corruption of the Heights for too long. He wishes to reconnect with the Depths, and start having trade. He sends her as an emissary. She agrees. It's a relatively successful and boring trip. Eltcreed comes as representation of the Depth's politicians. Ulrik, because he actually understands whats going on in the Depths from a lower class perspective, comes along as well. Adage (the Doctor LI) is brought in case something goes wrong and the available doctors in the heights refuse to work on a Depths' resident. Sir Ines comes as a representative of the HOUNDS. They all go up to the Heights with a radio, so everyone can hear everything in the Depths. Well, while Cyrus had been gone for about two days, there was a Coup(of a sort, since Saint Yune doesn't actually lead the country, but whatevs). The groups eludes immediate arrest, and regroups in Cyrus' family home. Fin, your police partner, says he knows a secret way to Saint Yune. This was a trick and a betrayal. There is a scuffles with swords and guns. Fin Double crosses again, and The Police Commander is taken hostage. There is another small scuffle. Ex fiance and his dad are arrested. Saint Yune is freed. There is talking about why trade wants to be established. The Assembly (the ruling party of the Heights) is dissolved. There will be an election one month from then. The new Assembly will be Half Depths Residents, half Heights Residents (to me, this doesn't make sense, power wise. There will be no political control of the Depths' country leaders by the assembly in the Heights, so it should have been more like, two token choices from the Depths, and the rest all from the heights. but i digress.) A very lovely speech is given by Yune by radio to all the Depths countries about why the changes should and are being made. Fin and Cyrus end on a high note. They are both back to being Rank 2 Officers. Love is no longer outlawed, so Fin attempted to confess his love to Cyrus by letter, but it was unnamed and written in a silly fashion, so she threw it away. Cyrus looks into the blue sky with Fin and has some inner thoughts about how freedom and love shouldn't carte blanche be given in exchange for safety and comfort. There are "slides" of a sort telling you how all the LIs (who you did not romance on this route) are doing. - Eltcreed is running his own country, his banking business, and helping with the Assembly. He may finally be out of time to bang the ladies with that work load.
- Ulrik suddenly becomes an engineer and with Eltcreed's funding, starts making planes (this one was a head scratcher to me. He's been a spy for like 10 years. He likes to read and is very smart, but at no point did he express a wish to be an engineer.)
- Doctor Adage starts writing Medical Texts that increase the health of the Depths quite a lot because...reasons. In his route, he actually said the equipment was better in the Depths, so this seems at odds. It does seem the Depths doctors are weak in pandemic/germs/hygeine perhaps.
- Ines is a Heights Police administrator and looks a bit stressed about it. I'm glad he's back in the Heights but paperwork didn't seem like something he wanted.
- Yune is seen smiling as he oversees "the bright future." (his depression at his longevity is never addressed. Perhaps we can assume that this New Renewed Purpose thing makes him happy enough to let that go.)
I kinda feel disappointed with the "Grand Ending". I feel like it contains everything I wanted to happen on the other routes. It's kinda like they had wanted to somehow incorporate it too, but couldn't, so they shoved it into a non romantic ending of it's own. Additionally, some of the characters were kind of psychologically bent by their back stories and yet it was hand waved in the ending. Oh? Adage can just hear about his father's crimes and get over it? If that is true, why was he willing to do horrible things to be close to daddy on some of his bad endings? Meh. I completed all the Happy endings and a handful of bad endings in 28 hours for a $35 game. I would say I liked 3/6 routes, in order of my romantic appreciation: Ulrik, Yune, and Adage. I actively disliked Eltcreed (consent issues) and Ines (just amazingly boring.) before I forget, and move onto anotehr game...Ines is problematic. his big thing is his partner was murdered during an investigation into the corruption up in the Heights. It was hushed up to look like a suicide. Ines than vows to do everything needed to keep a good opinion of the HOUNDS leader, no matter how distasteful that is, so he can be transferred back up to the Heights. He is asked to pointlessly murder many inmates by the insanity that is Sachsen. and I just can't imagine how he can reconcile murdering people who's only crime may have been that they loved someone to seek Justice for his partner? like, wow, dude. your partner must have really wanted some justice there. I enjoyed this for what it was, but there really isn't any replayability here unless I was one of those completionists that like to see beloved characters die just for the "bad endings. The end.

Also, I hunted down all the question marks in Skellige. I gotta say, f*** Sirens! I would have had no trouble with the sirens, if Yennefer hadn't weighed me down with 7 dozen bottles of plonk. i.imgur.com/CDrz0wU.jpgAnyway, I'm back playing Divinity Original Sin 2 DE. After a slow start, with GOG abandoning the Gog Downloader, I had to download the 13 files through the browser. (Not Happy) I had forgotten why I liked this game so much, I just made it out of Fort Joy, but I had missed a lot of stuff I remember from last time, so I'm making a new character and starting again today.

Yeah Nitrous I believe it's called it's used in the NFS games as well I use it in NFS Hea tcomes in real handy for escaping the cops. Especially if you have several bottles of them as you can equip up to 5 if you manage to get all the upgrades. I've never managed moer than 4 thoughin the 2 playthrough's I've done but you can earn a 5th one if you win a high heat race with the cops chasing you. High heat races can be quite difficult though Got caught by the cops hen trying to do one in my last playthrough. Damn annoying too as I had won the rac ebut go tcaught when trying to escape at the end of it.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. The party saved the dryad and delivered the last ingredient for the cure. Then things happened and the party was removing zombies from a fortress outside of the city. I think, I am close to the end of the first chapter.

Charming Empire
This was $25 game I tried a hefty demo of. They had hidden how much of a spineless puppet the protagonist was, somehow. I made myself finish route 2 of 5. It was perhaps the least disagreeable route, because she changes her personality to the one he described as liking, which is also a personality I like. (Which is disturbing in it's own right). I suspect no other route will come close for this reason. Maybe if I'm truly bored someday, like in a hospital bed Ill, I will ask for hubs to bring me the Switch and I'll play more. But for now I'm done. I think I got 6 hours of...subpar entertainment for $25. The art was nice? They weren't breaking any ground with the writing.

Hold up...Sims...? As in, The Sims? It has quests now? What devilry is this? The Sims is about wardrobes and woohoo. Yup
It's an old Sims 3 spin-off called The Sims Medieval, it even got an expansion...Pirates and Nobles You (the player) are seen as some sort of god called "The Watcher" which the sims in this game appear to worship It's actually entertaining... for a Sim game. And didn't they get Patrick Stewart to voice the intro narration (quite funny btw)?

So...Call of Duty WW2...of all things:
So Inquisition was being annoying (seriously Noble Deeds Noble Hearts gives me hella issues whenever I do it) so I tried to do BF 2 which was going through an update...
Which led me to one of June's PS Plus games instead...the aforementioned COD.
And well...my opinion on a game has never gone through more of a wild rollercoaster as it did last night.
I was actually quite tickled pink when I realized that this game does not have regenerative health. I don't really mind regenerative health in games and I understand it...but this actually was something that was...different. It actually made me a lot more cautious trying to get through the bunkers on Normandy and taking my time.
The second thing...this game is actually immersive like all hell. I was actually feeling...stomach uneasy during it. Which is rare.
But, all of this went out the window because towards the end of a section I got to...a dreaded...QTE. The one bastard gameplay trope spwaned from the pits of hell, I thought we put these miserable excuses of kaffas back a decade ago. That and the no maual saves...though that one couldbe a bit more explainable.

Deus Ex HR
Picked up a SQ to track down a bomber. It turned out he was hiding in the sewers close to the precinct. He wasn't tough to bring down as Jansen has cloak ability. Then it was off to Taggart at the convention centre. I wasn't sure what would happen if I chose to walk into the conference so I made a QS. Luckily I did because a cutscene kicked in. I could see it's going to be tough to nail him down publicly I reloaded and went the back alley way. Got into Taggart's personal comp, got a call from Sariff to plant evidence. I went with it. Went off to confront Sandoval, then talked him down from suicide.
Then it was off of Hengsha again but not before I read the surprising emails in Jansen's computer in his office regards his background. I think I forgot to this before; I remembered Sarif saying he'll transfer the files over but then I went off to Hengsha instead of going back to office.
It wasn't a good landing at Hengsha, the plane was shot down. Ambush! Malik told Jansen to get away, she'd be fine. What? How was that possible with so much firepower going her way? Nope. Then I got a msg from her that she didn't make it. Freck it! No way! Reloaded and I ignored her initial msg. Used cloak to get closer and cover, emp grenade to take care of the robot. Took me another attempt because I didn't get the two heavies straight away but Malik got the plance flying again and evacuated. Pritchard got on the com, the so called good guys were not so good afterall. Never mind, I'll own their hides. They're hunting Jansen? Well, he's going to turn the tables on them.

I leveled up my Revenant in GW2 some more (aka used all my tomes, didn't have enough to reach level 80) and did my daily (mostly on another character). That's something that annoy me with dailies in tha game, you need a level 80 for most of those that aren't PvP. I was lucky that we had "events in Caledon forest daily" which is the Sylvari starting area at least. Events are good for XP. I also started the personal story. I decided to go with the Green Knight which is based on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. He's even called Bertilak. After that, I had about 1 hour left to play MEA and it was spent all on talking to the crew and doing some shopping on the Nexus (mostly selling stuff).

Yep, he did...it's hilarious Dire chinchilla's
They also had a trailer with a spoof of Life of Brian's "Always look on the bright side of life"

The Desperados 3 demo on GOG is sooooo much fun. I thought the game was overpriced earlier but, depending on how many missions it releases with on June 16, I might just bite the bullet.

I read about you all having a great time whilst I'm at work. And I'm all, heck yes I wanna play that so bad right now. And when I finally get home and get a chance...I could not be any less motivated to play anything. I sincerely despise you all Sorry, do you need a hug? well if it makes you feel better my PSU is randomly turning off and it's been chronic lately so no gaming for me either!!!!! Must be the curse of the Australian gaming god!!!
