Jumping from one game to the other... I've defeated Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno in Pokèmon Mystery Dungeon DX, paused a little (I've negletched leveling up, and the new dungeon is... Problematic ) Relaxed a little playing Story of Seasons: trio of towns. Cute and relaxing, while waiting to get Friends of Mineral Town. And from time to time, I get back to DAI. I'm kind of jumpuing from one game to anothe ra little bit atm as well mostly between my Fifa and F1 games now that I've finished m yDA playthrough but still. Jus tarted my 4th season of a career moed I have on the go on F1 2017 Finiswhed 5t hin the Australian GP and won in both China and Bahrain.

Also...just me or are some of the dialogues a bit bugged? 'cause at times people refer to my Lady De Sardet as male (saying he or him) and at other times they do address her as milady
My Lady De Sardet (who I'm nicknaming Leonie (she looks like a Leonie to me...dunno why) as to who I'll have her romance...not sure yet, though I'm starting to get fond of Vasco...he's pretty interesting
Unfortunately, I think the mis-gendering bug never got properly patched. I was balancing my approach with a lot of side quests before completing a main quest, then once I hit my halfway or about two-thirds mark, I was suddenly running numerous main quests in a row. Up until then, I only encountered a few minor instances of the gender bug, but I started hearing it a lot all of a sudden, and I decided to take a break. I haven't made up my mind yet about my restart. I will either choose a male De Sardet (full ranged Technical) to avoid dealing with the bug for the most part, or laugh it off with a more gender-neutral-appearing female De Sardet (probably a triple hybrid). I noticed female Preset # 8 is a little less overtly feminine, and I figure I could give her short hair and plate armor for her chest slot. "My lady, my lord...say what you will. It won't affect the tenor of my negotiations."
I am quite fond of Vasco, and the Naut quest chains. I think you will enjoy learning more.

RDR2 Arthur has been scouring the landscape for perfect pelts to get the upgraded satchels - gotta have that cowboy bling , but took time out to stop Albert from falling off a cliff in his search for the perfect photograph of an eagle Had a chat with Dutch about...some plan...? While I was positioning the camera for that shot, I noticed something, so zoomed in... I really hope this comes out after Imgur has its way with the screenshot. If it doesn't, though, the text is all there and it isn't nonsense. Some thought went into the little things in this game. Edit - bah. Too hard to see. Gaming screen is bigger and 4K, as opposed to this screen which is only 1080p. Ah well. It's there, promise Scenery. Man the second of those pic's could be a real photo!!!!!

Yeah, that's not uncommon with this game - especially at higher settings/resolutions. I remembering reading that photographers - unable to get out and work during their countries respective responses to Covid - were using the photo mode in RDR2. And man...some of the examples I saw were out of this world. A couple of times, I've dialled the in-game settings all the way up on everything - was only getting 33-36FPS when I did, which is virtually unplayable, but for the purposes of a screenshot...just, wow.

In Breakpoint... So I thought that there was a patch out for this game already before the *big* one but alas...that information ended up being confusingly inaccurate so instead of actually just uploading said patch I ended up playing the game...for a couple of hours. . Anyways though big patch coming out this week plus new live event and plus with the AI teammates being confirmed means I want to do my second PT of the game. And I am a bit out of practice...or just being really, really impatient got me into a fair bit of trouble a couple of times. But then there was some moments of good gloriousness to. One of the main things I did for the whole thing was I caught up and played the 'free' mission for the first Deep State expansion. It was fun. Met Sam Fisher. Met one of his contacts....got to drive a tank with a turret on it. It was a bit curious though Sam Fisher who is the big stealth guy and his mission in Wildlands was very stealthy and this one...well after getting out of the door with Sam the entire base knew we were there and there was a line of six Sentinel goons outside the door waiting for us. And Sam was surprisingly even less then helpful...but I made it without dying. The next thing was a brand new side mission which I am shocked I never ran into and it was a very surreal experience. So lets see here. 1. The mission giver was Grace Maddox, now I've met her but the dialogue made it sound like we hadn't...exactly. 2. Grace was concerned that Christina Cromwell was being betrayed by a colleague of her and she was concerned about her friend, and the project. Christina Cromwell was standing right across from her in the room while this was going on. 3. This 'traitor' ended up being a character named 'Sam Carter'. Samantha/Sam Carter is also a character in my favorite TV show Stargate SG-1. Upon meeting Sam Carter it was a woman and upon meeting her she insisted that I call her Doctor Carter...this is also seems to be a rather on the nose reference to SG-1 since in the first season there was a lot of debate whther to call Carter Captain or Doctor. 4. Given that Carter was a traitor and a dangerous woman out for profit motive...and since there is no way to capture her, I killed her. Civvy warning and all. Though I suppose something to consider for next time that I could've just destroyed the data. Anyways this game is entirely different from when they launched it. The inventory is completley gone...positives and negatives with that. Synch shot drones are limited to 200 meters now which is a needed change but perhaps wished for a little more. And I am really looking forward to having a team again.

Finished Beyond: Two Souls. Story spoilers: Some of the things that annoyed me:
-Nathan is turned into a villain in literally the last 30 minutes. I suspected SOMETHING since he was played by Defoe, but the game did absolutely nothing to properly set up and earn the plot twist of "he's going to destroy the world to be with his family again because he's insane".
-Speaking of Nathan, that father/daughter dynamic that they set up between him and Jodie sure does end on a wet fart. There's no real closure. And worst case scenario he apparently outright tries to murder Jodie if you choose the wrong dialogue options, which is...something.
-The culmination of the game in general never really felt like it. That whole Black Sun deal with the military (obviously) wanting to exploit the shit out of it never felt like that was what the game was building towards. It just... happened in the last few chapters.
-The actual endgame and "boss fight" was super dull. Just a beige mess with a handful of QTE's.
-Ryan showing no qualms about exploiting the FUCK out of Jodie and lying to the degree he did is pretty unforgivable, and AFTER that he's positioned as kind of the default romantic interest. Fuuuuuuck that. He does go on to redeem himself somewhat in my eyes since by the end he does seem to be sincere in his feelings and has Jodie's back even though I had her reject him and let his eye get gouged out.
-Now, while he was 1000% wrong in how he lied to Jodie, how the everloving FUCK do you not figure out that you're assassinating the president of a country until AFTER the fact when you've already done the deed? YOU WORK FOR THE CIA, how can you not know the most basic of information about a country they're sending you to? This is information a literal child from anywhere in the world could easily get with a simple Google search, it's not top secret shit.
For me, Nathan's pacing was fine. After the first condenser incident, he knew what would happen if the rift to the Infraworld is opened again and yet years later, Jodie was told he's in charge and building another stronger powerful condenser. Clearly, something's not right. Why would he persist in it when he knew how dangerous it was? Nowhere in the game was it shown his studies was politically motivated.
At the end, he had clearly lost it so saying the wrong thing to him would definitely sparked him off. I went the reasoning route and he didn't try to kill Jodie.
From birth till her teens, Jodie was coddled and she had very little freedom of will and motivation. When she did get those few motivations in her growing up phase, they all turned out horribly. That would kill her will to do anything else but what she was told. Being told what to do was safe. She was appreciated. I don't see why it would change when she was "recruited" into the CIA. They knew what she could do, all the more to control her. They would feed her lies if she thought to question. They gave her the illusion of freedom by allowing her to own a house and earn a salary. After years of being caged, it would be heaven to her. Her needs were satisfied, she wouldn't try to think or question further.

Beyond Two Souls Finished another PT though I didn't try too hard to veer in a sharp direction from the old PT. I just chose to do some stuff differently. Example; Jodie drank whiskey in the first PT. I had her drink lemonade in the recent PT. Also picked a different option for the end. Having gone through the QTEs, I became better at it this time although I deliberately fail it at one point because I knew there was going to be a decision later. So I "cheated" and skipped it.

I see, thanks for clarifying it
I'm using preset 8 for my female De Sardet, and yeah...imo. it gives of some Cassandra (DAI) vibes...so I just head canon my De Sardet as being somewhat androgynous with not really caring what people call her
thankfully Vasco can be romanced by both genders, so I'm not really unhappy
I'm currently just playing mine as a Technical as well with blades as primary weapons and firearms for ranged...tried doing a triple hybrid but didn't really like it
I'm having a hard time getting used to the magic system in this game, so will likely keep that for any eventual future playthroughs (on my magic attempt I kept getting owned by the prologue boss so I quit and switched to Technical )

Tropico 6 My chocolate empire isn't going too well. It was going somewhat well before I moved to the modern time. Now I can't make a profit, which means I can't invest more and build more and advance the mission. I'm not sure what happened, it's like my logistic took a nose dive after changing era. I also think I have too many plantation and I probably should have build a tourist resort instead of a nuclear program during the Cold War era...one makes money, but the other sink it. At least my citizens are happy.

Finished 100 % Terraforming Mars. I don't think I'll do that again. Surviving Mars has neat aspects but nothing much about colony management. It's a city builder on Mars. Imo, there should be more emphasis on the colonists than building blocks (I mean domes). Tried myself in Noita but I didn't make it. Not even with cheating Then I didn't have much interest in long-term projects (Satisfactory takes so long to set up and I'm again tempted to restart - I should maybe accept the noodle factory) so I fired up Airships to construct steampunk airships and watch them take each other apart. And the Shipbreaker is still bugged so I wait out on that. Hmmmmmm: Surviving Mars (Citybuilder) Noita (Rogue"lite") Satisfactory (Factory builder 1st P) Steampunk (Pixelated ship builder) Hardspace: Shipbreaker (deconstruct ships with yer own hands - might be even better in VR) I see a patter appear: I must have hit the builder phase - in Noita you edit wands and deconstruct a lot with it, the Shipbreaker also is a lot about deconstruction. No thing can go without its counterpart.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Midway throw chapter 1, when the murders began, the game did start to became interesting and i confess that now i`m kinda hooked, although the game does have some crazy and absurd moments . It was easy to guess who had murdered the first victim and the victim own involvement in it. The trial gameplay was a bit confusing at first but fun to play once i got the hang of it. I`ve now finished chapter 2 and this time i`ve only guessed who the murder was during the final trial although i did guess the victim's secret during the investigation that Chihiro was a boy And here`s a screenshot of the sadistic robot bear :

I'm having a hard time getting used to the magic system in this game, so will likely keep that for any eventual future playthroughs (on my magic attempt I kept getting owned by the prologue boss so I quit and switched to Technical )
Since the game heavily insists that firearms are mandatory (cutscene business, and the like), my hybrid build uses a small one for ranged damage. Then I pick a melee weapon type. While I feel like heavy weapons are more useful, my hybrid will wear some heavy armor and still engage in sneaking and assassinations, so she actually will use stilletos primarily (possibly with a side of swiftness potions). Since one-handed blades plus Agility provide a lot of damage already, I can slot stun or armor damage on her blade instead. To complete the hybrid, I have De Sardet focus on control and buff spells, so magic doesn't compete with firearms in purpose, and De Sardet can ignore Mental Power in favor of just Willpower.
During the prologue, I feel any magic build benefits more from a couple of Willpower points before anything else: more ring attacks and/or spell use before pausing for potions. While parrying is a thing, I used block-based builds in both Technomancer and Bound By Flame, so I focus on dodging in Greedfall. Fighting the Nadaig during the prologue definitely requires a lot of maneuverability on the part of the player in that case.

FINAL FANTASY VI
So, I didn't play for about a week, but I wanted to mention that I ultimately had to avoid the Storm Dragon. I usually thoroughly explore all the areas, but I was able to find Cyan WITHOUT fighting the dragon, so that is the approach for now. I tried to fight the dragon a couple of times, but my party was no match for it, at least for now.
Today, I rescued Shadow from the Behemoth King, and then flew off to Jidoor, and then the Fanatics Tower, to find Relm and Strago.
My favorite character is Cyan, so he is always in my party if available. For spoilery reasons, I like using combinations of Shadow, Relm, and Strago. To keep it balanced, when Shadow is available, my party is Cyan, Shadow, Relm, and Strago. When Shadow is off doing something else, I use Cyan, Celes, Sabin, and Strago.

Played some more GreedFall today Helped out Aphra with a series of quests (she's starting to grow on me), and also finished up Vasco's final one and received his romance achievement (currently have 13 achievements unlocked) tomorrow I'll be cleaning up some more side quests before focusing once again on the main trio also... ewigDunkelheit how the hell do mission quests work? I've no idea what they do or how to complete them I've read the journal entries but can't make heads or tails of them. also, your build seems quite interesting, though generally during my first few playthrough I refrain from making a build...mostly because I'm terrible at them as is my "builds" tend to consist of "throw together skills and smash enough buttons, hoping things die and I stay alive" though have to admit I'm getting better at them in games like Dragon Age.
-- Today I also played some minor Fallout 4...but can't really think of how my character should look so kinda gave up for now also...names...I know Codsworth mentions a lot of them, but can't really think of one that'd suit my character

For the main quests, most are chained together in multiple steps. For example, the Ancient Secrets quest chain can be activated after helping Siora with The Battle of the Red Spears. After you investigate the battlefield, you can explore further North, and discover some painted murals. Discovering the murals opens the Ancient Secrets quest. Also, I wanted Aphra in my party as soon as possible, so I visited the Bridge and Theleme governors first. Reporting to Constantine activated Scholars in the Expedition, and I recruited Aphra. I didn't do the Battle of the Red Spears until after this. If you don't want to progress the main story, just check your quest list, and stick with the designated side quest listings. Is there a particular quest that was confusing? If the issue is simply completion, make sure to follow-up with the quest giver. I think that is a necessary step in a lot of cases.
Your build approach should work just fine. I just have a penchant for varying my customs, and thoroughly planning my adventures.

also... ewigDunkelheit how the hell do mission quests work? I've no idea what they do or how to complete them I've read the journal entries but can't make heads or tails of them. also, your build seems quite interesting, though generally during my first few playthrough I refrain from making a build...mostly because I'm terrible at them as is my "builds" tend to consist of "throw together skills and smash enough buttons, hoping things die and I stay alive" though have to admit I'm getting better at them in games like Dragon Age.
I meant the section in the journal which says "missions", you can pick them up on those job board thingies...I got one for missing cargo and another for...well, thinning out foxes another for someone attacking traveling merchants...and another one that I can't remember so I read the description in the journal, go to a spot on the map where I think it would be but can't seem to figure it out
all other quests so far are quite straight forward, go to this place...find this person/kill this thing, report back to the quest giver for a reward if needed.
but yeah, I did the same as you...went to San Matheus first (that intro scene there made me want to puke , please tell me I can kill that Inquisitor later), and then Hikmet

Sorry, I confused the terminology. Honestly, I didn't bother with the quest boards. I read them, but didn't actively pursue any (if I happened to fulfill one incendentally while exploring though...). So, I won't be able to offer any advice after all.
I should mention, that as far as I remember, the board quests have no map markers to help guide you.

I'm also playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I never played the first one so I had no idea what to expect going in, but honestly I'm loving every minute of it. The story and characters are great, the gameplay is right up my alley and the graphics are gorgeous to boot.

I'm currently just playing mine as a Technical as well with blades as primary weapons and firearms for ranged...tried doing a triple hybrid but didn't really like it
I'm having a hard time getting used to the magic system in this game, so will likely keep that for any eventual future playthroughs (on my magic attempt I kept getting owned by the prologue boss so I quit and switched to Technical ) I have not used these mods personally, but they should fix the bug: --- Firearms are OP.

Man of Medan was on sale, so I bought it. I got Fliss and Conrad killed. Fliss got shot in the confrontation with Junior. While Conrad got away on the boat that the pirates used, came back with the coastguard and died from the Manchurian Gold (since Alex, Julia, and Brad got the distributor cap and got away). Didn't like the twist of no supernatural stuff, since Manchurian Gold is a gas that makes people hallucinate and die from a heart attack, but it was fun occasionally spotting the Curator in the background. Finally got off Elaadan in Andromeda. Strux and the Overlord having their kung-fu fight is still goofy.

In City Skylines...
"What is it doing?" "Learning." (Don't know if there are any Brickelberry fans around here).
But yeah I am definitley failing upwards and running into a bit of a panic situation because I get the feeling despite all my hard work that my city might be about to collapse in on itself like a star. And its just rather ironic that the higher level the services go, the worse I tend to get at making them and building them.
So the problems are really beginning to stack on top of one another which makes a lot of sense because A. my pop is almost at 20,000 which I think is a fair sized city at this point and the higher density districts I have can also add its own problems. Two big ones has come up though mainly in terms of fire...and well more road placement then anything. So it seems that for future playthroughs and my advice is that you should NEVER under any circumstances unless you can't avoid it...built a four lane roadway. BECAUSE there is an impassable medium in the middle. There were two houses right next to a fire house...and they burned down. I was confused and very irritated by this until my wife pointed out that the fire trucks couldn't get there because the road was one way. Now I would think that they would just go across...or walk. But experimentation revealed that the 'next size up' road, six lanes, is the exact same width as the four lanes...just without the medium. Which the good news it does make them easy to upgrade them. I also discovered that, much to my chagrine, I could actually have reconnected the highways high up together like I did...so that highway that I had to cut in half now has a connection again. And I also started adding sound barriers to my highway which is helping with the noise polition and trees which I've heard also helps.
But the problem which might be stangling me is...the trash. Its piling up in the landfills, its piling up in the houses and the high rises, and it just seems no matter what I do is not releiving the problem at all. I have build multiple landfills/ incinerators again but it seems to not be able to get them though the numbers seem to fluctuate. And I cannot seem to empty said garbage fast enough either. This is the main thing which is leading to a lot of abandoned buildings, which has been getting bulldozed with regularity though I did discover that they can actually rebuild them. So yeah. This situation is going to be a big problem moving forward. The frustrating thing is my population was beginning to fall too...and my residential need was high at the time so despite all of this going on so people WANT to move into my city so I residentialed more districts which is going to just make the trash problem worse...theoretically, but I need the pop. So close to 20000 and I don't want my pop to take a nose dive either.
On the bright side though I did a rather good job planning out said residential expansion and also I decided to put more industrial 'north' of the river. But not nasty factories since there was plenty of woodland up there so I really have not been factoring the place up.
