Started my fifth New Game+ playthrough of Assassins Creed Odyssey with her of course Kassandra who else is there. Spoke with Phoibe and soon after i had to save her from some bad people. I also spoke with Markos a couple of times did some quests for him. Had to find some wood for an old woman who did not like Markos at all. Destroyed some stuff and got what i wanted ( don't mess with me ). Killed some wolfs who got in my way and did some investigation ( Kassandra the private detective ) Cleared out a bandit camp and had to find an eye ( i think that finding that eye will turn out to be one of the funniest moments in the game ) Climbed a big statue and when you get to close to his private parts Kassandra will say something funny. And finally i killed my 10.134th Mercenary. And that's all folks for today.

Playing the whole Uncharted series, and it's so damn good. The first two are good for their characters, but the first 3 chapters of the 3rd game are treasures. Love when games take their time to tell a story. Yes they are.

I dropped the tutorial after realising I made a mistake in not stipulating the children born to the Queen belong to her house, not the father's. That's one of the reasons why they were not considered heirs besides being female.
Restarted with Ireland again except that it's not a tutorial. The rolls this time is better, the king ended up with a few sons. I used the romance scheme with the wife so as to prevent her from straying (adultery/ affairs). Used diplomacy and a cause to get the whole of Ireland and became King. However, I'm unable to get full crown authority so the heir cannot be designated by the King. I've to figure this one out. The heir belongs to the same House but it's not the eldest son but a brother of the King's, voted into that position by the vassals.

Subnautica: Below Zero It's not officially released yet (soon TM), but couldn't wait any longer. Both parts are so nice, pretty much my favourite indy games ever. It's all about that bas se: click to enlarge
Not fully done yet, but close.
Features: - large main room with reinforced glass ceiling and some room dividers (workspace, kitchen), front entrance (the top of the structure is only 20m or so below the surface, so it's nice and bright during daytime)
- first extension on the right, command center: administrative and energy management options - second extension on the right, scanner room: helps with finding specific resources in a radius around the base - extension in the shadows to the back, moon pool: docking arms for vehicles, automatic recharging and upgrade management, secondary entrance (the whole bottom is open to the ocean)
- first extension to the left, multipurpose room: personal quarters, sleeping area - second extension on the left, in the shadows at the end of the glass tube: observatory including glass floor, lounge area (drop to the ocean floor is only 100m, nothing to worry about) - front left, foundation plate with growbeds for renewable and exploitable resources - powered by thermal energy (not in the picture), with auxillary solar panel (on top of the multipurpose room to the left)
Might do an interior tour when it is done. There is also a kind of easter egg in the picture. Nerds, don't fail me now

I finished Control main story. The game allow you to play afterward to finish side quests and collectibles which I won't bother with. Jesse you are right, the Ashes Maze level was awesome. As was Dr. Darling's lip sync show.

I installed a mod to increase Geralt's running speed in The Witcher. Had to get used to it at first, felt like I was steering a race car. Haha. I like it, though it probably wouldn't be great if you are prone to motion sickness. I also installed a mod to greatly increasing earnings from dice poker, I figure if I'm gonna have to put up with the annoyance of it, I might as well get paid!
Once I got over the shock of being overloaded with quests at the beginning of Act 2, I've really started enjoying this game. Was a bit disappointed it doesn't change much if you correctly uncover who is working for Salamandra during the investigation questline though. Also, I thought about taking Alvin to Shani, and even though it doesn't actually matter, I just can't get behind not taking him to a mage. So Triss it is.
Some of the book references can be pretty funny. My fav was when first meeting Dandelion, and I don't know if he's trying to test if its really Geralt or what, but he's going on and on about Regis (the Vampire), and Geralt replies, "next you'll tell me I had a Dragon friend too!" To which Dandelion responds, "I know you're trying to be a smart ass, but jokes on you, you did!" LOL.
For the most part I've gotten past none of Geralt's friends mentioning either Ciri or Yennefer, but a couple instances are just too jarring. The first was Dandelion talking about Geralt's death, he mentions a bunch of characters by name, but Ciri gets reduced to a gender pronoun instead. The second was when Dandelion asks Geralt if he would like to have a family. What!!?? Dude has already got a family!

Crusader Kings 3 The first King is still chugging along but he's going to die after one year. Thanks to a game notification. He outlived a couple of sons and his wife. Though there's the option to marry again, he's already in his 80s. nope. I also chose Kin for the legacy trait, ensuring family support so that there won't be any in-fighting among the sons, etc. Too many sons, too many grandsons and granddaughters. I've to ensure everyone or try to, the kids have a good guardian to educate them. After they mature, I lost track and would be surprised by msgs like; your grandson was captured in the distant lands after taking part in a distant war. I then realised the grandson had enlisted in the Templars and was fighting elsewhere. I couldn't ransom him unfortunately. It sux because he had good traits.

Innkeeper: "Ahem... Long ago, in a valley far away, lived a girl. She was a true princess, sorceress and witcheress..." Geralt: "All three? Isn't that a bit much?" Innkeeper: "Don't interrupt. You want to hear the story or not?" Geralt: "I won't interrupt again." LOL. I'm really enjoying Witcher 1 Geralt poking fun at the books.

Is this Crusader Kings 3? *twitches* If it is you can up the Crown Authority in the "Realm" screen which is right had side near the top of the screen. You have to go through the stages of Authority, though. And there is a mandatory gap between upping each stage. If you can't do that, your vote is (or should) be worth more than the vassals votes, and if you Sway them, you'll eventually get them voting for your candidate (at least, that's what happened for me).

Fallout 4 Been downloading a lot of settlement related mods and putting them to use. After the mutant scum blew up my car collection at Starlight, I built a factory there. It mostly deals with food and clothing related production. I have a lot of caravans going here, this will be my main hub for trading and stores. I've done a lot more than what the picture below shows. Once I get it where I want it, I'll probably make a video.

Found it. It's slow pushing though. The first king finally died at a grand age of 91. The second is having a handful with a greedy ambitious vassal.

So yesterday I finished Control and decided to try another game on Game Pass because I have 3 weeks left to my month sub. Game tried: Dragon Quest XI S with a longer subtitle. I played about 1 hour before uninstalling. Such a lazy port. They didn't even bother changing the gamepad prompts for the keyboard values in the tutorial. To the point I had no idea how to open the game menu to check the keyboard setup until I tried all the keys. Also, it was weirdly mapped by default. But I didn't uninstall because of that. The turn-based combat really isn't what I'm looking for right now. It's old school JRPG turn-based. The game is pretty in 3D thought (you can also play it in old school 2d top down view, I'm not joking). Oh and the English VO isn't bad, lots of Scottish accent early thought. So after that, I started up Greedfall which I installed before switching to Pillars of Eternity a few weeks ago. I found a mod that change magic ring cost to like nothing (kinda dump that attacking with magic rings cost so much mana when weapons cost zero). I also remade my De Sardet after meeting with Constantine. I went back to a female one. I feel like the female voice works better in the interaction with Constantine than the male one.

De Sardet made it to Teer Fradee. Finally. Constantine was quite happy too. Good luck cousin. I restarted the character one more time thought, to put the starting skill point into lockpicking because there was lots of locked chests with no key in Sérène and it was bugging me. I'm going to try to make a magic/big sword character build, but I won't be able to get the big sword until like halfway into the game. For some weird reasons, magic starting skills are heavy weapon (aka hammer/axe) with the magic rings. In Sérène, I helped historian escape the crazy Inquisitor of Thélème. Got a charlatan incarcerated, he made people sick with his potions. Rescued a kidnapped cabin boy and got the Coin Guards payed merchandise without bloodshed. Also, we might have illegally took some Coin Guards merchandise to Teer Fradee...might.

Ugh this is awful. My PC surround speakers died last month and I got s two speaker set as replacement. It's in one of the top 10 PC speakers list but I found I could not differentiate sound location.
Example; Cyberpunk. On screen, something is going on on the left. I saw it but the sound was on the right or not centralised. It's neither here nor there. A NPC spoke, standing on the left. The sound wasn't coming from the left speaker.
ME3MP. When the banshee screamed or the brute roared, I knew exactly where they were because the old speaker set pinpointed the location perfectly; left, right, center. The new set does not tell me anything; they're everywhere. I spent more time looking around.
I'm going to have to find another set of speakers.

I have Creative SoundBlaster Z; it has dedicated rear headphones output and I can switch between speakers and headphones on the fly. Plus, audio control panel has settings that emulate surround sound on stereo headphones and I can say it does good job. Currently playing original Baldur's Gate with EAX enabled through Alchemy software, all environmental sounds are there.

Holy shit, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a long-ass game. I feel like I've been playing the game for ages now... probably because I have been playing it for months now, taking my sweet time and all. Still, I kinda like the duration of the game. We don't often have games that you can sink your teeth into, for better or worse. At least, not nowadays.
