Just finished Atelier Sophie - the alchemist of the mysterious book (although I still have some mopping up to do and DLC expansion), and started with the next in the (somewhat) trilogy - Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey. To my surprise I ran into.. Sophie and Plachta. Nice!

BioShock Infinite
So I tried nearly everything to get it to work and well everything that probably would not take up too much time and well it didn't work, it was very bugged out...maybe I will try and go back and do the annoying next step if I feel like it and finish early enough but yea...
Burial at Sea
Its actually kind of funny because I load up this game and one of the first things of note is that I overhear about two people talking about voting...in Rapture. Now given how much of a...ugh...tyranical anarchist Andrew Ryan turned into I am very surprised that he would allow voting. The parasite votes after all, after all someone might vote him out of power or vote him to give up his property. No said the voters of Rapture! Of course this does also raise the question I mean this whole operation was Ryan's idea and yes Ryan did make the decisions to go after Fontaine and then Sofia Lamb later to purge the rolls so he is in control of Rapture but because of Ryan industries and everything I do not see him being apart of any actual Rapture government...curiouser and curiouser.
Other than that I also wonder how old Elizabeth has gotten since the events of Infinite and how long she has been at this sort of thing, hunting Bookers and Comstocks through the multiverse.
Also I do wonder if they over did it and the reasons for it...because I think I pointed out that Bio 1 and Bio 2 were more survival horror then Infinite but yet ammo and stuff and money and resources were at least pretty easy to come by so you could muddle through, just a section or two started to go through it, but you cannot go a single firefight without running out of all your bullets pretty much.

SWTOR Made it to level 75 with the male Inquisitor and finished Taris. Then I just decided to do the class story and stopped at Voss in chapter 3. Chapter 2 is very short if you only do the class missions, lol. I got to meet my Cult again and added some new members (yeah for force persuade). I tried to kill Darth Thanaton and it back-fire a bit. I'm now dying. I managed to get my body rebuild to fix some of the damage on Belsavis...also learned that Star Wars is just like Star Trek (aka the Rataka created most force sensitive species). Now on Voss to heal my mind. Kinda. Also, building a power base by creating a super weapon like a proper Lord of the Sith. Oh and Thanaton's superior in the Dark Council died *mysteriously*, looks like lots of people aren't fans of him because everyone is helping me right now. I think I'm good to finish this class story tomorrow.

I started playing Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus a few days ago. So far it feels like a worthy sequel, love the graphics improvement. I also like having a hub in-between missions, getting a chance to interact with different characters. Love the setting and story so far, and gameplay is solid as always.

It's been a surprisingly long time since I last played an RPG that was, y'know, good. With BG3 in the ever-receding horizon there wasn't much to look forward to, either, so the withdrawal was beginning to set in. That's when boom! Expeditions: Rome was announced for later this year and my hopes were renewed. Then I remembered how cool the previous game in that franchise had seemed and how I had dropped it early on for rather petty reasons—short version: I started the game multiple times to experiment with builds and reactivity; when I lost a companion to permadeath in my last run I didn't feel like restarting—. I'm almost 30 hours into this Expeditions: Viking playthrough and I'm loving it. This past weekend was spent traipsing around Pictland, which has a charming "hovel chic" aesthetic: Honestly, there's a lot to like here. Just to mention one remarkable aspect, there's a diversity and texture I often find myself missing in fantasy or sci fi RPGs. In Viking you deal with at least three distinct culture groups, namely the Norse, English, and Celts. Their architecture, clothing, language, religion, customs and so on are recognizably different. But more than that, within each of these categories you can distinguish particular subgroups. For instance, your player character, most of your companions, and most Norse characters you encounter are Jutes (Danes), but occasionally you will meet Northmen (Norwegians) and Geats (Swedes... kinda). If you pay attention in-game you will notice these three cultures are slightly different. This kind of attention to detail goes to show how difficult it can be for speculative fiction to even approximate the complexity of real history. I remember one reason I was disappointed with DA2 was Kirkwall's lack of a distinct identity. Other than people saying "Serah" and "Messere" every now and then, it felt much the same as Ferelden.

Burial at SeaSurprisingly enough I finished episode 1 last night whiich was an interesting surprise in some ways but oh well...more on that in a bit. God this game tends to be just one gut punch after another after another. Its really well done and I guess I am a sucker of pain because I just keeping on coming back for more and I love being abused...more emotional pain please BioShock. And yeah hard not to feel a calvucade of feelings and sadness watching...Sarah? Sally? Got the tear ducks going as I watched her cut get cut off in the portal. Of course also in keeping with the theme from yesterday the Big Daddy is much tougher in these games then they were in the original, imo...of course I am playing on medium I think and not easy and well I didn't actually die either. Oh another brief note too the engine improvements and graphical differences between Infinite and the first 2 actually does something to the effect. Now Rapture looks gorgeous and maybe this is the point...but there is also a bit of an uncanny valley effect going on because as perty as it looks it still is not a perfect one to one and the effect just makes it a bit...off. So this is a Comstock who went through a portal because of the Luteces to take back his identity as Booker because of what hapened there and he just mentally broke again and lived in Rapture. Of course I have always assumed that this was the whole Elizabeth thing again and that the Elizabeth we see in the vision is not her but a mental version of her projecting herself into it...as she does. But then it occured to me, what if Elizabeth really was there and really was all like 'she's not your daughter' and this version of Comstock basically decided that version of Elizabeth wasn't working out to well or something so found another Booker to steal a different daughter. This does beg the rather significant question...why? What was bad about this Elizabeth that made Comstock decide to try again and yet allow her to still be there at the second attempt? And the more I think about it the more I am beginning to suspect the motivations of the Luteces. Now, for lack of a better word, I have always kind of intretid them as sort of...multi verse angels? Because of the accident and everything else that gave them *perspective* and thus their role was to make sure things happened, guiding Booker and Elizabeth in doign what needs to be done. But the more I view things the more I suspect their motivations are actually a lot more base then that. Revenge. Pure and simple. That they were, quite understandably pissed, at what happened to them and they then had the tools and the knowledge about how to play the very long game with their vengance. By putting Booker and Elizabeth into the exact circumstances needed to make Comstock suffer. And what they do to Daisy Fitzroy in Episode 2 suddenly makes a lot more sense and the position of trust they'd have with these people for the very reason that I already discussed...to a 1912 mind they'd look like angels. Of course Comstock is a bastard and does deserve some manner of justice. But was htis the best way to do it? Afterall the big theme of Episode 2 was Elizabeth realizing she was getting hurt by her revenge just as much...and even dead...then ultimatley doing a soft scale redemption of her own which leads to her permenent death. The change of behavior in Elizabeth can hardly be called a good thing no matter how much Comstock *deserved* it and here the Lutceses were playing puppet master. I ALMOST FORGOT! NHL 16Funny how life works out? I didn't thin I would play a sports game again...certainly not for awhile and for a few different reasons and NHL 16 was probably the weakest game I had for a few different reason, which I basically have covered already to. But here we are and I finally found my balance. Seems the key was to having fun was to just reduce the periods to 5 minutes. It actually has helped make things a bit more balanced and realistic...not beating anyone 20-0 that's for sure. And with that I decided to pick up on my seasons and see where we were going from there. and well since I finished episode 1 of BAS and my wife has requiested to watch episode 2 with me...or one specific scene...I basically ended up playing so many games that welll...do not remember specifics so again just going to have to relay general highlights. The big thing of course though is that I did win every single game that I played. Having more luck with the Avalance offensively while the Bruins are having more luck defensively. My first big surrprise though was...well the injuries. Krug and Chara was down for Boston and Matt Duchene ended up being hurt for the Avs. Which well...curiouser and curiouser. Somehow this is probably my fault somehow but Cliche, who is on the fourth line of the out of the box roster...was replacing Duchene as my number 1 line Center...at least he started off that way. And well he had 2 goals and an assist during the game which brings him to...2 goals and 2 assits on the season. So that is fun but hey keep the hot streak going so when Duchene came back I kept him down to the fourth line. Though then of course Duchene still ended up hurt but yeah Mitchell scored, other Mitchell scored 2, Anderson scored twice, I think Sodeberg also has been having some fun.. Also Bergeron is leading the league in points and well picked up a few more as well as Foley but yeah lots of depth acitivity. Of course the big news is that Rask has not had a shut out this season to this point for me...but now he is up to 3. He has 3 SOs for me in a row saving 68 straight shots to get those 3 as well so the man is on fire. Then of course well this game is old so I decided to try and update the rosters a little bit more to make it more that way afterall Louis Erickson is not on the team anymore IRL and a few Defensemen too *cries in Bruins defense being entirely different, so many great players lost* But yeah I tried to go after Taylor Hall first...obviously...but that ended up being a fool's errand. So I went after Craig Smith instead...and had to give up Dennis Sidenberg which is meh but probbaly my least liked of the Dmen the Bruins have lost since this game was a thing. But yeah of course in the reality of this game always a bit worried because Erickson was playing well for my team so I could just see the actual Bruins press and facebook fans going *wah what is our GM thinking* just like when I flipped Brad Marchand for Reily Smith.... but yeah. Also the other fun part about this thing was my intention was to make room so I could promote Pasta to the first line and then upgrade his stats from his 19 year old stats to his modern ratings...he is now a 91 instead of an 81. *cries in soup* why can't you be like Madden even a little? And then the next game of course also had the biggest problem I have with this game too as it put in Subban instead of Rask and it does that automatically. That and a few other factors made me want to not play it for too long and well I exploded and was aggressive very early. Which worked as I had 9 first period goals...almost 2 a minute! But the newest Smith exploded picking up four points in that period and the hat trick. Bergeron had 2 pts (1 G 1 A to Foley) Thornton had I am quite sure 2 points as did Krejchi. I mean my new second line just exploded with all 3 forwards scoring.

Change of Plan tonight. I didn't play SWTOR. I made a new Engineer in GW2 instead. And I was lucky to find a Heart of Thorns Hero Point train just before it started. I got all those HPs now. I was picking HPs in the Path of Fire area when I saw the chat notice. I know this character will probably not live that long as I technically can't play engineer anymore (too demanding in APM, aka action per minutes), but I love the class. It's my favorite in the game. So now I have a little Asura engineer again. It's like my 5th one or something like that. Also, the Path of Fire maps are so pretty.

I put on pause Rune Factory 4 (because I'm awful at fighting, I have to farm my crafting skills to have better equipment...) to finish my run at Littlewood, were I finally have my heroine marry the (ex) dark wizard. Good game. But I must admit I was left wanting to see more of this world. I'll probably make another town one day. For now, I'll go back to Rune Factory.

Today I finished Outriders main story. It was pretty ok. Very buggy though. All in all it took me about 30 hours or so. I didn't do all the side quests so that reduced the game time probably by another 10 hours.

Finished my season on Fifa 21 an dcame second in the Permier League in the end much higher than I thought I'd achieve I only downside was I almost managed to win the league bu tonl ymissed out by one point as Liverpool managed to bea tMan U on th efinal dau yand I needed Livrepool t odraw or lose that game with me winning. I managed to win my game on the final da yagainst Newcastle. I came so close to doing a Leicester but I'm sad I didn't manage it in the end. Still O secured Champions League football for m ynext season on tha tcareer mode and I will try again to win the PL as it was an awesom eand fun season. Gon ebac kt od oon efinal Fifa season probably for now on my Fifa 20 career as m yteam despite being relegated on that career decided t okeep me on so I'm gladsomeon ein Spain has a brain at least not to blame me as I onl yjoined th reclub quite late so it was always goin gt obe difficult. But my goal is t owin the second division and get them back into La Liga s ono small task. The good news is though I hav emanaged t owin the openin ggame against Almeria but the bad news is I still have 41 to play.

SWTOR I did a few more things on Voss, mostly killing things for the dailies (both were kill 75 things on certain planet and Voss was among them). My Sith Inquisitor found a cure for his ghosts issue too. Well he joined a group who had a cure and they gave rather random information about how to get cured. So my Inquisitor is now trying to find a Gormak. Because he need a Gormak. Then he need to find a dream-stone. You think those thing would be written on paper. Oh and the whole thing is illegal because a Mystic had visions and they didn't like the result. Something about a Gormak leaving for space... ----- GW2 Played my new Engineer up to and including the Priory quest chain. Now going to meet an Hylek tribe to learn about them with Seiran. I had picked the Val-E-Golem personal creation for the personal story. I forgot how weird the Arcane Council is. "Oh yes, that council was always a murder maniac, don't fret about her trying to murder all of us with one of your creation". And there was Phlunt! I didn't remember he was around since the start (he show up in later content as Taimi's superior). My little dude is a member of the College of Dynamics. I felt it is what matched the best with the Scrapper spec and all the explosive I carry around. I also killed solo a champion that usually gives me issues on my Necro. My Scrapper build might be the greatest! I got him stuck between a hut and a wall and just bombed him. He could escape and went down easy. Big'O Bomb is awesome when enemies can't escape its radius and don't get knocked out from the blast (only downside of the my build, lots of things gets knocked out all the time).

Burial at SeaAnd well so my BioShock journey comes to an end... . I will say pretty much right at the opening kind of blows my 'Luteces are evil' theory a bit to hell. I mean not sure they are entirely benign in the limited, human, sense of the word but there is no malciousness really in the scene where they are taking Elizabeth into the boat into Rapture again...just sort of a giant cosmic shrug if anything which fits. They are doing what must be done to ensure events play out like normal. Also with the whole Daisy Fitzzroy thing, learning that the Luteces put her up to killing the Founder boy. Well I thought that was bad writing retcon for...exterior reasons. And I think that could still be the case in some ways, but changing perspectives and also listening to the Voxaphones that she left throughout the area actually makes her a lot more sympathetic on this viewing. That she was trying to ask the same kinds of questions I think a lot of people are asking...if they are honest...when it comes to these kinds of things. And well she is also...kind of murderous though. Just there are a couple of outstanding issues here that could point to bad writing or at least lack of sympathy. 1. She still did it. Now the Lutceses were all like 'this needs to happen' but she still made that choice and curiously the reason she made the choice is that the Lutces told her she would not be the one to bring Comstock down...implication being Elizabeth. So she was just fine turning Elizabeth into a killer to stop Comstock by killing a white adolescent...nice. 2. And well the Vox both in the game and in the DLC are still portrayed as being pretty murderous. That is just as much on her, as their leader, as anyone. There was ZERO indication that she was giving any sort of restraining hand on her own people which a leader isn't always responsible...but they could be in smoothing out the rough edges. Though ultimatley the other reason for this is, as the DLC itself highlights, BioShock already did the whole 'person takes advantage of people to cause violent revolution to advance their own agenda'...thing...with Atlas/ Fontaine. So the ending of this DLC always gets me right in the feels too. Of course Elizabeth sacrificing herself to closing the circle and it going...well full circle...makes you wonder how long a game the Luteces were playing on this. But yeah, I also have to wonder if there is any connection between Elizabeth and Sally...considering Sally was singing French. Oh and she also mentioned something about 'selling Sally to make a point'...was she the one who gave Sally to Atlas so she'd...well make her point to Comstock? Anyways, great DLC, great game. I think my list for this is 2, Infinite, then the Original.

I literally started 10 games in one day for the first time, including Hades.
I just realized something while playing Hades: much as I liked it... I still hate Greek mythology. I honestly don't even know why I roll my eyes whenever I see yet another medium with Greek mythology sometimes, but then I realize that Greeks are basically the Vikings in that everyone seems to love 'em and therefore they get the spotlight over everything else. I mean, don't get me wrong, love the game, but you know how it is, I guess.
And holy shit, Outer Wilds gave me nausea the first time playing it.

SWTOR:
My smuggler Lyna Rand saved a girl named Kixi, who helped her getting Scavaks records dirty. Then she had to tell a Nautolan guy, that his girlfriend doesn't want to see him again. And lastly, she helped an officer to arrest a mugger (don't mention it, it's bad for reputation to actually help the law).
After that, I did some flashpoints with my sith assassin Myca Vycos and my imperial agent Fyloria - there were strange people playing. I stopped after having done conquest, wasn'tfun today.
I don't think, I've posted Fyloria yet - here she is:
My sith sorceress Fylani recruited a jedi padawan on Taris and consumed another ghost - a fellow Togruta no less (both cases). Now she has to help her apprentices on Quesh.

GW2
My new little Engineer has killed Zaithan. Character age: 16 hours and 43 minutes. Skipping all the dialogues speed ups things, some missions take like 5-10 minutes without the dialogues. You spend more time travelling really.
Now I'm free for MELE.

My next plan when I go back to them wil l be to try and do well enough t oqualify for Europe and hopefully get back onto the intrenational scene after resignimg as Ireland boss to focus on getting Levante promoted.

So, I'm playing Risk of Rain 2.
No story, eh? Just challenges? I mean, I could get used to it, I suppose.

Bought Subnautica Below Zero after 3 years of giddy anticipation for the full release. I was excited like a kid on Christmas Eve! As somebody who played and loved the first game, everything is very familiar. The map is rather small though, then again there's a lot of surface terrain to explore this time... And somehow I find the geography of it all confusing and I get lost all the time. Still agonizing over where to build my first real base. Took me forever to find the base building tool for some reason. That was annoying. Had to google it. I like it so far but the magical novelty of the first game is gone, of course. It's still an awesome beautiful new map and I have to force myself to stop and sleep. And rest my hands, which are still not fine. But I've decided, fuck it, I'm done denying myself my favorite escapism. I'll just ignore my trigger digits as best as I can and wait for them to heal at some point. Oh, and I've also resumed finishing my settlement in FO4. I have two weeks off and maaaybe I'll be done by the end of it. Got a week left. Might end up playing nothing but Subnautica though, lol.
