SAM keeps telling me i have emails but when i check, there is nothing in my inbox. This gets old real fast. Please fix it in the next patch, Bioware.

There was (eventually) a mod for DA:I that shut up background NPC chatter. Hopefully we can get one for SAM. I actually like my robo bro, but he needs to take a chill pill.

I have this trouble too occasionally with the AVP as well, he'll tell me I have some outstanding when I don't. What I have noticed though is it is usually because I have just checked and he is going to tell me anyway.
I think the game in general doesn't track and react to your actions, it's like it is scripted to do certain things, tell you certain things that you need to do or see and it will still follow through with that scripting regardless of whether or not you have already done it.

He's especially annoying on the planets with severe weather. Every single time you exit/enter safe weather zones it's "I'm detecting safe environment" or "I'm detecting a drop in temperature pathfinder." Whats the point of the HUD if he's gona say it every time

I'm pretty sure he does this to everything that occasionally updates. Email, AVP and if you go up to the vidcom he will notify you that you have a call waiting too.

This same bug has happen to me. At first I did have new email (but I had quickly read them). Now a few hours had gone by and I load up one
of my save files and at this point Sam keeps saying I have new email even when I do not, this is every 15 minutes give or take Sam would say it.

Before the patch it would always be SAM chiming in about Strike Teams being ready or research points that need spending. Now they've been replaced with email and AVP notifications.

Well I can't finish a main story mission because of a bug now. Great job guys. Looks like I'll pack this game away for oh, 6-9 months and hope it isn't the steaming pile that it currently is when I come back to it.

Haven't got that particular problem - but my game is glitching like it's possessed today. Started in the Research thing on the Tempest when I was trying to make something, whenever I tried to add Augments to an item, it would bring up a research notice for a weapon - so I stopped trying. So I moved on to the APEX thing to Debrief and start missions, only for the same thing to happen, AND for the first Debrief notice to get stuck on the screen - the only way out of that was to exit APEX and go back in, but that only worked maybe 2 times out of 10 attempts - so something is still buggered with New Game+ saves. Still got Missions starting before they should too actually in NG+. |
