So now that most of us have gotten through at least one playthrough, what are your thoughts about upcoming DLCs. What do you want to see? What do you expect to see?
I suspect we'll get a bunch of MEAMP DLCs (new missions, new characters, new enemies, new gear, etc.).
I also suspect we'll have 2-3 large, story-driven DLCs. Here's what I'm hoping to see:
1.) Settling one more habitat planet - I don't believe that we've actually seen all of the 7 "golden worlds", right? So I could see a DLC where we get another full planet to explore and settle. Not sure what the story would be for it, but it just seems like it's an easy no-brainer DLC.
2.) Rescuing the Quarian Ark - This is the most obvious DLC. They set it up clearly in the post-Meridian game. They are under attack or caught in the Scourge, so we are clearly going to be sent out to assist. Here's my dream for this mission -- You don't actually use your squad for it. Instead, you go with the other Pathfinders. You always have at least two Pathfinders, to round out a full squad (Raeka or Hayjer and Sarissa or Vederia), with the possibility of also having Avitus as well. I could see it being a case where you have to go back and forth between Meridian, Nexus, and Aya locating the ark, then, once it's located, you travel there and meet the other Pathfinders. If you only have two Pathfinders, then they are your squadmates. If you have three, then you select one via dialogue to cover your escape route and the other two are you squadmates. Then, partway through the mission, you meet up with the Quarian Pathfinder, who tags along as an NPC. Completing the mission adds quarians, hanar, elcor, volus, etc. NPCs to the maps, particularly Meridian and the Nexus (mostly just background NPCs, but a few that you can interact with). Also, this would allow the Pathfinders to get fleshed out a bit more as well. And the Quarian Pathfinder (I'm hoping that it's the original Pathfinder and not a "oops, s/he died so here's his/her replacement" again) is added to Pathfinder Headquarters.
3.) Tracking down the Benefactor - This also seems pretty obvious. Unless that's going to be a major plot point in a sequel, it's totally unresolved. I'd like to see us continue tracking down this character. They are in Andromeda, so I see this as almost a "Leviathan" style mission where you have to utilize clues found across existing maps to track this person down and confront them. It would also include a section where you need information that only Alec would have, so it leads you to thaw out "Elizabeth Reilly" and she helps provide some missing information, adding her as an NPC who you can visit on Meridian in Alec's quarters. It would allow us to have the lesser-content LI's have a stronger role, as well. Keri helps locate sources through her network. Avela acts as your contact for the Aya portion, Reyes (or Sloane, if she's alive) plays an NPC combat role on the portion that takes place on Kadara. Gil helps MacGyver a tracking device and acts as your guide to the different locations. Suvi helps tracking them down via geologic composition of evidence. This way, they are all fleshed out a bit more. The other LI's would have a little content added as well, but not as much in order to try to even out the options a bit more (with additional romance sequences for the five that I just mentioned).
If all of this happened, it would leave us with an ending point for the current storylines. So if they opted to sub-out Ryder for any sequels, we'd have a natural closure to their story. If the Benefactor is a recurring Big Bad, then s/he escapes at the end of the DLC, allowing you to continue to hunt him/her down in the sequel. Or, they can just end that story line and give justice for Jien, if that's easier for them.
What would you like to see in upcoming DLCs?

I agree with what you have, but personally more romance added with Gil or Reyes. I am so predictable.

Quarian Arc looks likely at this point
I kind of hope you can have your sibling as a squadmate.

This is always the problem I have with these games. They spend they time building up the romance and once they are 'complete' they might as well not exsist. Now they did do a fair job of this in ME3 with some of the romances but I want more! And if there is a cute Quarian female to romance I'm gonna need somewhere to hide Coras body....

Actually we have, and let's just say Habitat 5 aka H-047c isn't going to be habitable any time soon As for DLCs, nothing would increase replayability like additional squadmates with recruitment and loyalty missions in the vein of ME2's Price of Revenge and Stolen Memory. I wouldn't bet on that happening though.

In order for them to work properly, they'd need to have left part of said DLCs coding into the game, which people would decry as on disc DLC.

Well, if I were in Andromeda I'd be a little worried about how dependent all the settlement efforts are on Remnant tech (which could go wrong, is usually crawling with killer robots, could draw in the Scourge, and which both its creators and the race that tried to destroy them might object to us using). Consequently, I'd like to see them at least try to find a world that doesn't need weird monoliths to be habitable; if only as a plan B. I would also like to see more human squadmates, because I think Bioware's alien fetish is getting out of hand (seriously, straight male Ryder gets 5 romance options, and only one of them is human? And it's Cora!?) I'm honestly torn on the Quarian Ark thing. DLC or MEA2? Could go either way on that one. Oh, and I want the M-55 Argus assault rifle from ME3. I love the noise that gun makes.

Exiles story starting with the beginnings of the rebellion on the Nexus. With conversation options being a Rogue and a Conquistador. New protagonist, obviously.

That is all covered in the book. And if it was modeled after the book it would be pretty boring. The whole Uprising didn't last as long as most dlcs do now a days. They make a big deal of it in the game, but over all it was incrediably short because of the Krogan.

I think we will get some free DLC in terms of maybe some cosmetic stuff.
3 story driven DLC 1.) Quarian Ark, its obvious. 2.) Information about the Reaper's leaks out thanks to the Quarian Ark arriving. Benefactor launches a coup. Would like to see the option to explore more of Meridian. 3.) Kett seeking a quicker way to return home or bring in reinforcements. A race to find a mysterious Remnant tech which is basically a mass effect relay.
Sequels will likely deal with other parts of Andromeda, new aliens, Probably more encounters with the Kett, the Jaardan, Scourge Aliens, all of it could still play out. I would like to see a time jump of about 5-10 years for the next game. Ryders would be in their 30's still young and active but more mature. Get to see our colonies grow etc. Which is neat. A want on my part would be seeing an primative alien race encountered, with a desirable genetic trait the Kett are after, you save them but then face the choice of uplifting them technologically or not. With all the emphasis on the Salarians and the Krogan, facing a similar choice would be really cool.

Quarian Ark...especially if it involves the Geth taking it over after stowing away and us having to resolve the issue. Yes to the pathfinders being part of this, a million times yes.
Vehicle DLC...gimmie a fucking weaponized rover Bioware you KNOW there is no reason why the nomad should be just as idiotically unarmed as the tempest...I would even take a hammerhead.
Weapon crafting DLC (let me build proper MW cool down weapons Bioware, stop being ao proud of shitting on your own lore)
Mandatory horror themed dlc please

I only recall their statement regarding ME3 DLC back in the day, but wasn't following the build-up to Andromeda all that closely. Either way, seems unlikely at best.

Quarian Ark DLC.
That cutscene after the final mission leave little margin to not believe Bioware is planning to do it.
Also some resolution for the Jien murder and the benefactor would be nice.

I need that Quarian Ark DLC. I'm currently in a struggle on whether I should contain my (thin) hopes that geth somehow infiltrated it and got to Andromeda as well. I wouldn't like the Benefactor story to be solved in a DLC though. It's shaped up as a very interesting major mistery that I hope goes to feature as a major arc in a future installment (maybe THE main arc) rather than being a side story solved in a DLC. I also do not want it to be Cerberus. NOT CERBERUS BIOWER.

The benefactor had no evidence. "Shepard made it real" has the benefactor put it. Cerberus wasn't aware of the Reapers until after me1 and only when Shepard died. So, something with enough influence/money was probably before the start of me1. Plus, why create AI (if your the benefactor) and not be on one of the ships? Yea the benefactor dlc and or finding a way to save Ellen Ryder. They left those two open not have just end there. Plus, it'll be an excuse to have the other twin be a squadmate for a mission or two.

Find a homeworld for the quarians/Turians because I am concerned about my dextro buddies.
More worlds in general to explore would be great. Maybe more angara or Jardaran stuff.

Also, something with creepy overtones, like the Leviathan DLC. I don't know how but that's what I want, something liek HP Lovecraft
Also more romance content because I'm a slut for romance content.
Maybe a Tiran Kandros romance DLC

Quarian Ark does seem obvious. Other thing in the Jien Garson's murder mystery, something still unresolved. Yes, that probably means something with the Benefactor.
