I access this site primarily through mobile. Someone is embedding malicious code all over the place, or you have decided to become predatory on your advertising strategy. I highly doubt the latter, so look into the former.
At least a few times a week, and sometimes several times a day, when I touch a forum link I end up in the Google Play store looking at a game title.
Now, we have the DDoS thing happening fairly often... Is this in response to a recent attack? It definitely slows down things.
I see nothing about this or anything like it here, so maybe it is just me?

This DDoS is new behavior, just noticed starting yesterday and the forum was behaving slowly yesterday... Maybe proboards pushed a new version of their software.

Yeah, the browser check started today for me. It usually happens whenever I get out of a thread to go back to the main menu. Hopefully this is just a temporary situation....

I am getting DDoS thing - Cloudflare, but no redirects and definitely no Google Play hijackings.
It doesn't happen every page change, and it is pretty quick (for me, anyway), so not annoying yet...just weird.

@howyummy, anything new recently with the software to explain these behaviors? The Google Play stuff was happening a lot the last couple weeks, but since the new DDoS warning thingie, I have not been sent to the Google Play store out of the blue. That was the part that was bugging me, and I still am surprised that no one else has had this occur. Makes me wonder about my phone's security  |

The Cloudflare DDoS redirect seems benign enough. A few sites I frequent use it. (Extratorrent to name one)
Can't speak for any of the other issues, haven't had any.

My redirects have started again.
Was sent to the Play Store for the Skout app the other day (never used it) and today I won the internet and got stuck in an endless loop of redirects.
It may be my phone, but I just did a factory reset on it about a week ago and I haven't installed anything sketchy and I just don't surf the pr0n like I used to.
I don't understand enough about how this works to make any guesses.

I can't explain everything, but I can explain the cloudflare stuff.
It was always there, but like the advertising, its frequency is directly attached to the frequency of people visiting the site.
Cloudflare, to put it too simplistically, is there to kick in when a lot of people are visiting the site at once, with the job of limiting the data being sent to the site at any given point in time. It is a defense against DDoS attacks.
The reason you saw it start, and fade, as it did was the dramatic increase in traffic caused by the release of ME:A. You've probably noticed that as the traffic has subsided since the initial release, so has the frequency of the anti-DDoS message.
I don't know anything about redirects, Sony Store, or sketchy links, but the anti-DDoS was definitely a consequence of a big traffic spike.
