What is the deal with the different hairstyles? One for each act?

Nice I've never been able to mod DA2 successfully myself before but I recently saw a vid on youtube that showed me a method I hadn't tried before and it's given me incentive to try again . If this attempt succeeds I could see myself using a different hairstyle on my next Hawke. Which I plan on playing after I'm done with my latest warden as I plan on starting a new run of the series tonight once I've reinstalled them.

Well I've only just started playing around with mods. I don't normally play around with mods for my companions only my own character really as it kind of makes sense that I should only customise my own and let my companions worry about their look. I've only been playing around with hair atm but I do have some outfit mods but seeing as they are more mage style outfits. I'll wait until I play my next run as I was thinking I may do a mage run then where my Warden, Hawke and Inquisitor will all be mages. Whereas I'm busy playing a warrior atm so not really suitable. As I was thinking of doing a mage with Tallis's hairstyle as one of the hairstyle mods I downloaded has Talis's hair apparently in the selection. I like Talis's hair in DA2 so was quiet pleased to find a mod with it mixed with the Robes of the Apostate mod I found should make for a good looking mage.

It basically adds Viv's and Dorian's style robes into DA2. Must admit I'm looking forward to using it assuming I can get it to work. Only time will tell though I will wait until I'm finished my curent run first though as I don't want any of my mods clashing and the ones I have installed for my warrior are working I just want to keep them that way.

I don't really into the NPC/companion changes, I like/used to them as they created them. They just seem weird with mods to me. True, this mod seems not bad. I like the younger Garrett, but don't really like Anders modded face (I used to the original. It not perfect, but familiar) – for example.

My fave armour for DA2 is probably a mage one.  The one in one of the mage packs it's quiet a high levelled armour lvl 17 or something I think but I tend to wear it until I get the champion armour. This one is it I think

It tends to work quite well and in some cases as well as the champion armour if not better. I don't really have a canon world state though I just work with whatever I have active at that time. But I will admit mages aer my favourite class in DA but I can also understand why they are treated the way they are with all that power at their fingertips. I think it comes down to me being disabled though and vulnerable and being able to play someone who's the complete opposwite of me in that they have the power to light fires or freeze an enemy just by thinking about it and waving their hand. Kind of makes me wish I had powers like that sometimes not that I'd want t olive in a place like Thedas though what with the darkspawn Giant Spiders and deepstalkers. It would probably freak me out and that's even before we mention the Dragons, Archdemons and Broodmothers.

Yeah mages and rogues are my 2 faves. I'm not much for tanking usually but I still enjoy playing the odd warrior in Origins and 2 though. Although in DAI they can be a little boring because aside from being able to take more punishment I don't find warriors that special there. In fact I've only ever played 1 warrior in DAI. I'm tempted to do another one as I was thinking of trying an Oghren style warrior at some point as Inquisitor and by that I mean his kind of combat style a dwarf using a 2 handed weapon sort of thing whereas my first was a sword and shield warrior albeit an elf. Topal I think her name was I think I even posted her on the forums once in the Pictures of your Inquisitor thread.
