Not to be an apologist, but turrets can very easily become OP. Unlike other powers, a Turret has consistent value so long as its active. Make it too powerful, and it can tilt playstyles towards passivity, which isn't good for either the dev or the player. I wouldn't mind a cooldown reduction with the turret. Maybe on rank 6, give the Flamethrower a short cooldown since it requires short range, then give the Cryo evo more durability, since that one is rather fire and forget. But the turret is generally (In this game) trash, so it doesn't lend its self to even being remotely OP. See the point you're making of course & agree with what you've posted. My point is more to do with the CD, doesn't make sense....even more so when the actual thing being cast is useless |

Every single thing about the design and the designers of the assault turret is completely wrong and stupid. Everything. It's a lie. Mass effect 3's turret is laughing hysterically.

Is looking up the actual meaning of words in a dictionary really that hard? Those things are generally alphabetic, which is elementary education, so let's start:

I don't understand why, once it's been cast it's cool down doesn't trigger. Every thing in the game has a cool down once cast, yet the turret doesn't begin to cool down until the actual turret is gone....makes no sense. It's not like they're even OP/potential game breaking Cloak, Turbocharge, Remnant VI, Singularity, Pull Annihilation and Flamethrower say you're wrong. No, actually you're just looking at it wrong. The power has only been cast once it expired, which makes sense. I spent many 24 seconds contemplating  Base recharge should be 16, upgraded 14/13.5. |

change it so it fires constantly with a higher fire rate and more health and more damage also the cooldown should activate when you use the turret not when it dies

The turret even in ME3 MP wasn't that great. It has always been more of a distraction device. I loved it with the Geth Juggernaut. I used it a lot. Decent (not great) firepower, but good distraction and shield boosts too. The assault turret is half-assed in MEA because you cant throw them everywhere like you could in ME3 due to its long cooldown. |

But flamethrowers or cryo spammers don't really need that much finesse. |

A triumphant return of the shock evolution might push it past 1-point wonder status. If that's no good they could just make it the cerberus turret from me3 that uses all four power cells or something. Those were always fun to hack.
While I'm at it, gimme AI hacking/sabotage back. Oh and cryo blast. Maybe prox mine.....WarpReaveDarkchannelArcnadesClusternadesReconmineCombatdrone. And OFC blade armor, duh.
