I'll be frank, and I'm not even sure if this is what this discussion is about. but The fanboyism that goes on in the romance discussions seriously weirds me out, its taken to the extreme where some people act like its the only thing in the game that matters. I was a Tali nerd in the OT but I didnt spend hours looking at fanfic and that, it weirded me out. I think the mos that ever happened was a friend sent me a lithograph he bought at a comic con of Tali in a suggestive pose and mailed it to me, just to mess with me as we were on opposite sides of the quarian/geth rivalry. In MEA, I have eyes on Vetra.. but the discussion thread in there is so cringey I don't even want to participate in it. Oh how I've forgotten what this place *or it's predecessor, I should say* was like...  People like different things, it all there to choose from. These games remain mostly combat...  |

Ahhh thinking about the Talimancers makes me want to replay Rannoch and have her kill herself, which unfortunately didn't happen when I played because I sided with the quarians against VI Legion.  (I only completed my first playthrough of ME3, because of the post-ending stress, and I have a tradition of always importing my save with mistakes first. Legion died in the Suicide Mission because Zaeed was my first squad leader.) Won't be quite the same without being able to post Tali's death to the thousands-long Talimancer threads though.  |
