I like to say thanks to the Bioware employees for signing the collectors edition guidebook. Very cool. I recognize some of them. Barrett, Jos and a few others. Didn't count how many signatures I saw.

Andromeda is absolutely amazing thank you for this game. As I recall surveys concerning this game, you fullfilled everything I've asked for. Basicly I was asking for a game resembling in every aspect Mass Effect 1 and you delivered even more. Great exploration filled with huge terrains/planets to cover everything wrapped up with an full rpg system, quests, loot, experience for killing mobs and levelling up. Although balance and economy is quite poor as I got rich and collected too many resources seemingly there is no purpose for them later on in game, I still am enjoying this game so much. Gameplaywise its one of your best rpg games. You are on the right track, please don't listen to those complaining about the game being too complicated for them. 2nd and 3rd game were great storywise, not so great gameplaywise. We don't want rpg bioware games with closed from a to b corridors. Keep up the good work and enhance all you have achieved with Andromeda into even greater exploration rpg experience You should tweet them, or like them on Facebook, as that is where they like to get their feedback.

They started working on the fixes the day the game shipped. They released it well knowing that half of the flaws in it existed. We cannot be sure that its Bioware wanting the game to be released this soon, EA has a huge history of forcing developper to release the game before they are finished. Most developper would just do the bare minimum, that means fixing bugs and glitches but that's it. And some of them don't even do that, that's what happen with arkham origin, warner brother decided to not even patch the buggy game but to concentrate on sold downloadable content. Bioware goes a step further by not just fixing bugs glitches (which is the minimum), but to listen to criticsm to their gameplay flaws. Like the option to skip the space travel, or to buy more keys to skip sudoku by making them more accessible and less expansive, they also made the inventory way bigger due to the criticsm that it was too small. That is way more than most developpers would do, they would just solve game breaking bug and that's it, they would not try to listen to criticsm for their gameplay mechanics, at best they would solve it for the sequel. Bioware do more than that. And that is just the first patch, MEA might get even better not just for fixing bugs but to change gameplay and make it better. I would say the next step would be to make fast travel between planets in a snaps of a finger , just like in dragon age inquisition where you could change maps with a just a few clicks. Most developers don't release AAA bugfests on this level in the first place... This is probably the 2nd buggiest AAA game released in the past decade (after AC: Unity).

So you support half ass games and companies taking a shit on the gamers. There are definitely things I'd like see done differently. There are bugs, and glitches, and other issues. Anything other than the technical issues, however, like characters, story, quality of quests, environments, all of these are subjective. You didn't like the game. Fine. I have no issue with that. Saying that it's a half ass game and Bioware is taking a shit on gamers is, well...the gif says it all. The Witcher 3 was, by all accounts, a worse mess technically when it first released. T-pose enemies that are being blasted in ME:A? Remember the horse glitch? How about this doozy? Added to those: quite a few of the Witcher's side quests were boring as hell fetch or kill monster quests....oh wait, ME:A is the same in that regard too! And yet, TW3 is highly praised as the bar upon which all other "open world" rpgs should be measured. I'm not here to bash on TW3. It's a great game. But it had as many birthing issues as ME:A does. But gets WAAAAAAAAY less hate. I don't deny the issues with ME:A. Some pretty crappy writing at points (OT had it's share of "WTF?" writing too, though) definite glitches and quest bugs, and others. But I prefer ME:A over TW3, even though objectively I can see that TW3 is a very very good game in its own right, and rightly deserves the praise it gets. I just don't think that ME:A is nearly bad enough for the hate it gets.

That hasn't happened in MEA.

About to give up on this forum and the immaturity that followed after the official forums died. The Spoiler section is where people who like the game gather to discuss it. The general area is a warzone carrying on the traditions of the old BSN andromeda section. Which was also BioWares fault. They took down the lobby and offered up the Andromeda section with 0 info on the game out. Then turned around and said, see what they did! Shut them down! In hindsight it sounds a lot like a trap.

Agreed, it is a pretty good and fun game. And well deserving of a heart-felt thanks for listening and correcting the course. They started working on the fixes the day the game shipped. They released it well knowing that half of the flaws in it existed. Every game launches with issues. I love that today game issues can be fixed this easily. Back in my day games with issues had to be recalled/fixed and re sold to retailers as a fixed edition.

Something I never understood is what people say that they hate how Devs these days release games and then patch them later. Some people have even accused MEA of being early access. I played plenty of buggy, glitchy games during previous gens and these issues never got fixed because there was no way to fix them. At least these days a devs can listen to player feedback and realise a patch to fix things or implement changes to improve a players experience, back in the day we just had to suffer through it.
