Watched and liked because of Dakka

So, rank 6 of turbocharge - is Supercharge a clearcut better evolution for overall/burst DPS, or is it a stylistic choice? Feels like that on weapons like sniper rifles, where aiming for weak points interferes with firing at maximum rate, a few extra shots before having to reload would result in better damage output.

I prefer to take the recharge time bonus for the turbocharge cause the unimproved cooldow is so long i forget i have it or always end up saving it for when i will really need it and end up barely using it.

I had a different setup but just changed mine to try this one out. Looks like it will work for my playstyle.

It's because there is no glory in the Revenant as I see it. It does not do it's job well enough to warrent any praise currently.

If it's damage was upped, it *might* be worthwhile, but I would still consider it too inaccurate for my tastes.

Since I can't snipe even if my life depended on it, I run the Revenant (well OK partially because I want to feel like Rambo!)

It's worth noting that there's not a massive difference in sustained dakka between turbocharge 4A and 4B.
Duration adds 4 seconds of dakka per use.
Recharge reduces the delay between uses by 3 seconds.

Duration = 12 seconds of dakka with 18 seconds without, 30 seconds per cycle, 40% dakka time. 
Recharge = 8 seconds of dakka with 15 seconds without, 23 seconds per cycle, 34% dakka time.

You'll be able to regain some of the lost theoretical DPS by making good use of the extra free reloads you'll get from the shorter cycles and in practice you'll waste less turbocharge time by killing everything in front of you before it runs out, which is something that happens more often with the duration evo.


I've got my male HSol duration specced and my female HSol recharge specced and I haven't found a clear winner between the pair yet TBH.
I'm just messing about with builds at the moment so that may change if/when I get serious.


TL:DR:  Both options are valid.

I don't know, the ability to turn around and shoot the flanking Anointed in the face hakuna matata style is a bit more valuable than setting off a silly ~200 damage explosion. I also enjoy sunbathing under observers, tanking Nullifier cover piercing shots, and generally having more up time in terms of shooting at things that are shooting back at you.

Fortify makes Gold feel like Bronze sometimes.

Having tried both Human Soldier and Turian Soldier, I like Turian way, way more. The massive +70% Health/Shield multiplier gives you positioning options Concussive shot will never give.
