Is there any value to people reporting what is displayed in the in-game UI (or the Apex HQ UI) for weapon stats? Or is the game UI considered unreliable also? Two bugs with ingame UI I described a couple of pages back, both fixed by swapping characters or starting a new lobby after you do any changes. I'm assuming console has same issues/workaround. Once that is sorted, the numbers match for the guns I have at the same ranks as the other testers (Avenger X unmodded shows 47 etc). Only difference is guns which aren't a round number get moved to the nearest whole number instead, worst case 0.5 out. Apex HQ has been unreliable in the past from what people have said - might load from a separate source that can be out of date.

Am I reading this right and shotguns have no bonus headshot damage? " Default 1.4"
Basically add 1.4 to each as the baseline, so shotguns listed only have 40% more damage (or 1.4x) for headshots compared to bodyshots.

Huh, I've never been able to get ED to detonate Throw, not even the "False" combos like you're saying. I assumed it was just one of those things. I'm able to detonate Throw with everything else I've tried. I will try that! Some interesting tests vs armor: *snip* I've gotten double combos using throw + energy drain. Using throw specced for increased duration and energy drain as a primer + detonator, if you cast throw, and immediately cast energy drain at an enemy far away enough for ED to hit before throw impacts, you will simultaneously get a biotic + tech explosion. Whether or not they both do damage or not idk. Maybe throw primes on cast, and detonates on impact?

Updated previous melee post with the jump / aerial melee values for various characters. Added Angara Insurgent base melee (250), and jump melee (385). Added test of Martial Artist with jump melee (stacks with impact and AOE hits). Added Universal Power Amp data (adds to melee as well). **** Someone on redit wondered if Assault Rifles have hipfire penalty. Looked at Sandstorm and Valkyrie briefly, neither had hipfire penalty. huntedhunt : Our medium damage user from reddit tested Shockwave as well. Biotic Detonations | Heavy Detonator | Medium Detonator | Light Detonator | High Damage Player | 350 | 262.5 | 175 | Medium Damage Player | 315 | 236.25 | 157.5 | Low Damage Player | 275 | 206.25 | 137.5 |
It's possible as hunted suggests that these are the hidden difficulty damage scalers but currently you're just stuck in whatever pool you're in. While that sounds possible, I don't know how likely it is because the scaling is almost completely insignifcant when you get up to gold. You can see from the screenshots how little difference it makes on Bronze. It's no wonder that nobody noticed. Imagine how little difference it would be on gold with enemies having, what, 2.8 times as much HP? If this was the initial damage scaling from Bronze to Gold that they then tweaked upwards and found that it wasn't even working, that would be crazy, because, well, +75 damage from Bronze to Gold?. But they're certainly going to change this on the patch, and hopefully everyone becomes unfucked and can change their base values. We shall see when the patch hits, I guess. Note also that each player's base damage value still changes with heavy to light primers and heavy to light detonators, so each player pool actually has 9 different base combo damage values, for 27 different base combo damage values in the total game.

I'll get the Duelist if I ever unlock her. -Angara base melee is less than everyone else's base at 250-Angara Avenger's base melee has a 2.0 multiplier vs armor (500 dmg)-Avenger Strike rank 1 deals double melee damage against HP and shields but NOT armor-Krogran Gladiator has a very high base melee at 400-Pull rank 1 applies either a debuff or a melee bonus to target, damage goes from 400 to 1200. Because of the way AOE works in this game that damage will be applied to everyone hit by the hammer. Target must be held, static pull does not work.(would be interesting to have a Gladiator hit someone else's pulled target)

Target must be held, static pull does not work.(would be interesting to have a Gladiator hit someone else's pulled target) Ok, so help me understand this: It's been noted that pulling and meleeing two targets with the KroGlad can further increase the amount of AOE damage dealt to additional targets. Say if I have one Raider held and I kill him next to a Hydra, I can deal a third of the Hydra's HP, but with two Raiders, it'll be closer to two-thirds of the Hydra. What would be the possible reasoning for the game to calculate this way? I'm not quite seeing how this flat damage increase from held Pull targets would multiply like it does, just because I'm holding two targets.

-Pull rank 1 applies either a debuff or a melee bonus to target, damage goes from 400 to 1200. Because of the way AOE works in this game that damage will be applied to everyone hit by the hammer. I haven't tested yet the double pull interaction. it's on the list to try tomorrow. Is it Pull in general, or just on the Gladiator that provides the "bonus"? That's on the list to test as well.

Is it Pull in general, or just on the Gladiator that provides the "bonus"? I'd say it's something with Gladiator/AoE attacks going on, since nothing of sorts happens with HAdept. Holding an enemy doesn't increase melee damage on them with that class.

They can handle big sticks pretty well themselves.

I'm not quite seeing how this flat damage increase from held Pull targets would multiply like it does, just because I'm holding two targets. Same way a cobra can kill multiple destroyers: It feels like the AoE attack itself likely gets buffed by multipliers, not the damage on the individual target. This is pretty key to playing the gladiator as an AoE melee - add up the debuffs and kill things that aren't even pulled with a single attack. Just a shame that this fun playstyle is based on likely unintentional mechanics. Further testing will hopefully show just by how much and if there's an order/increase limit for 3+ targets.

That explains a lot. It's like the regular melee can sometimes hit multiple targets over time (Pretty sure I've hit secondary targets as my punch was moving towards the locked target), but they made each hit AoE as well for the hammer or something :S I notice in his video it's as the Adhi is pouncing him - would have to check if the animation interrupt contributed to anything too. Also, incase anyone missed it, mined weapon stats: www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/69iles/all_multiplayer_weapon_stats_for_all_current_and/Including link to tool that apparently pulled the raw data: github.com/zeroKilo/MEAExplorerWV

Updated the long melee post. Thanks for testing the Krogan Hammer and showing Angara Knife armor multiplier lennybusker. I should probably pay attention to what the Angara call their knife. So far it is the only melee with a protection multiplier.
Did some brief AR tests to look at more weak point values and just damage in general. Would like to note that against Gold armor the Falcon AOE, weak point impact, and Revenant were losing 20 damage.
edit: Apparently the 20 damage from armor is due to playing SP on Insanity. Looks like 10 damage might be the minimum applied to armor, since standard Falcon impact of 20 was only reduced to 10.

I bet shield gate is also sp dependent, sometimes you can one shot through shields relatively easy, other times there is almost no bleed through.

Wonder if this explains why so many people think the high RoF guns are decent on gold, but others struggle to use them effectively at all even with trigger discipline. as misguidedworm7 asks, shieldgate and anything else that could be related to difficulty is now open to possible re-testing :C
