Well you should be able to see it visually, either they're on fire or not. In my experience though if they have any shields when Incinerate hits the burning DOT does not stick. But there might be an edge case where the combo clears shields- Incinerate is one of those detonators that lands after the combo explosion. I just looked through my logs and don't have any cases of that happening, but I wasn't trying for it either. Just checked it, worked as I remembered. Overload removes around 50% of the Oberserver's shields, then the Tech Explosion from Incinerate kills the shields and after that the Oberserver started to burn and died from the Incinerate DoT. Yeah looking at my past logs they're all with Overload at 1 so I'm only doing 450 damage, which with the combo isn't enough to clear shields.

How does the Cloak recharge bonus work? Is there a formula for it? Does taking duration increase help you use more of the early-break recharge bonus? you can check that in game. no need of special tools for that Well, it seems that it does, but the difference is too small to matter. Say - do combo bonuses affect the Electric/Fire DoT that come from their respective combo types? The DoTs are listed in the table as doing 400 damage, not a trivial chunk. Especially if your detonators don't have a DoT associated with them. I also imagine the combo DoTs don't stack (no 2x burn or 2x electric field), but it's a hard one to test.

do we know if/how the offensive tech evolutions affect the operator's abilities (namely invasion and shield boost)? i searched and read about the higher than advertised debuff which is nice. as i gain ranks/cards/whatever in the SO i'm curious where to put the new points (overload vs. OT). thanks!

works as advertised * (1 -0.3) to affected enemy damage but its usage vs mooks (on bronze ) is minimal. Overloaded or invaded enemies get staggered by the power, gather their senses and "re-position" to new cover in 99% of cases not shooting the player at all anyway for the duration of the bonus (even had support systems 4a extend power effect duration). If the "curse"'s duration were extended, or maybe on gold enemies recover faster after being staggered.

According to a friend of mine who tested it, even though the description says "giving an ally a beneficial status effect blablabla", if you're on your own with no one in range, even if you don't have your turret nearby, you get the damage bonus.
Maybe someone can confirm this.

Maybe someone can confirm this. yes turret makes no difference. You get the bonus anyway (turret has no shields and gets no defensive or damage bonus from shield boost). I only tested this while solo in tutorial .. What I did not test is if it does also provide the damage bonus to allies as advertised (but there is little reason do doubt it at this point)

Also idk if anyone cares but here's a comparison between 0 stability, 25% stability, and 45% stability with the Shadow. I had a 4th test video with the sniper rifle scope X equipped too since the description says it increases stability while zoomed, but I didn't actually observe any stability increase whatsoever, so I didn't upload it

some parameters do improve ( damage between 15% and 26%, weight goes down, ammo goes up, mag size for rechargeable ammo (remnant?) weapons, some accuracy parameters improve .. etc) , some parameters stay the same - ROF, shotgun number of pellets, etc .

Are the enemy HP/Shields tables accurate? My antishield pull does almost the same visual reduction to Observers and Sharpshooter shields, about half of their shield bar.
Also, I remember reading that Anti-Shield upgrade does not scale with power damage. It clearly does, equipping/unequipping war amp results in pulls leaving different amount of shields on target.
Crushing grip, on the other hand, clearly does not scale. If the Bronze Kett HP value is accurate, Crushing Grip with duration and power damage passives + war amp should kill them in 1 affliction. In tutorial, it does about half their HP at best.
Also, fairly lame, Antishield's effect doesn't apply to the secondary target when radius pull is picked.

Other than that, I finally finished enemy attack values after sort of slacking for a week or so. Kett Chosen grenade was taking forever to try and nail down. Need to decide how I want to format it.

Hm. After playing with the amp, and a game or two in the remnant apex mission for -power damage, there definitely is (very consistent) variation on where the shield bar ends after pull hits. It's tiny though, between basically in the space of R to V in the Observer.
Respecced adept to a different build with much lower power damage, the shield bar now moves to around VE area.

When you say the damage bonus begins AFTER cloak animation finishes, which animation are you talking about? Is it the "cloaking", so you'd need to wait to be completely cloaked before shooting? Or is it the "decloaking", so you'd need to wait to be visible again before shooting? The first one seems more logical, but I know trusting logic with the mechanics in this game isn't always the right thing to do...

Just tested recon visor stuff, sorry if this is already common knowledge
Recon visor duration is affected by Tech Duration 4a of support systems, but not affected by Power Specialist 6b of apex training.
When your recon visor starts beeping, it will end even if you get kills with rank 6a of recon visor.
If recon visor is active and you get the "3 enemies left" thing, the enemies will not be highlighted
The increased penetration seems to apply to all weapons, not just projectile ones
