Even More Avenger Strike Tests (1.08)Not much to see here, just a little bit.Avenger Strike -Impact still does not benefit from Combat Power damage -Still does not benefit from Stealth Grid bonus. Bleeding Strike DOT -The DOT receives bonus from Combat Power Amp and Enhanced Munitions. -Does not benefit from Tech damage bonus (did not bother to burn Biotic). -Can class this specific evolution as a Combat Power as a result. Flash Strike -Enemy damage debuff appears to work for main target, multiplicative. -Best guess is that this would add to other damage taken bonuses / penalties, need to test on character with DR to be sure. -Needs more testing for AOE and duration (Assemblers weren't cooperating) Disrupting Strike -Synthetic bonus still not applied to Assembler, probably still doesn't work for anything. By popular demand, I have added some rate of fire and burst info to the Enemy Damage sheets. You can find it for most "shooty" attacks in the Notes column. Enemy Damage BaseEnemy Damage Out of CoverDisclaimers: - Rate of fire is averaged using millisecond intervals, which tend to be somewhat variable.
- In reality the rates of fire are probably lower than the stat. For instance, Raider's Avenger is hitting at about 515rpm, when the Avenger's rof stat is 525rpm. See also Zalkin and Soned.
- Burst length is also really an approximation, except for something like Assembler where balance change notes specify.
- For some of the shots with low rates of fire, period between shots is listed.
- Theorycraft at your own peril as damage taken can vary greatly due to enemy accuracy, range to enemies, and number of enemies.
The combination of the first point and last point was why I was hesitant to do this in the first place. But apparently it isn't practical to go through the files for this because there are just too many fields. I don't know why the rates of fire don't line up very well. It is the same with player weapons. When I was just looking at the Equalizer for the hell of it a while back I couldn't get the stat ROF. I then played with settings like VSync and Triple Buffering to see if that had any affect, but it did not. So I don't really know if it has anything to do with framerate. If anybody has better data, I would be more than happy to update the Notes again.

Has anyone tested unmoving defense from fortify? Like what counts as being motionless? And how long does the dr last for? 1.08 fortification 6A unmoving defense skill description has it at 8 DR per second up to 40 DR max (5 seconds to reach max). IN-GAME TESTS SHOW IT TO BE 1 !! What do you mean "starting to move"? It cancels when you successfully went from 'starting to move' to 'moving'? When's that? it cancels/resets when you STOP moving So it's either 'active; accumulating to max', or 'active at max'?

You shoot an enemy in the weakspot with a weapon that does 1000 damage. When/how does the -50% damage get applied and when/how does the +600% weakspot bonus get applied? Also LOL that the game says +200% but it's really +600%. I'm sure Bioware will 'fix' that now that they are aware of it.

I'm sure Bioware will 'fix' that now that they are aware of it. weapon damage formula assuming naked char with naked weapon and no boosters, Weapon without extra weakspot damage vs enemy without weakspot modifier .. 1000 * (1 - 0.5) * (1.4 + 6) = 3700 . Thing is in this situation ANY additive weapon damage bonus is going to ADD A LOT when scoring weakspot hits .. 7400 * (0.5 + X) = (X as the sum of the additive damage bonuses will be multiplied by a large number). Targeting VI boosters or passive weakspot bonuses not as effective in this case as pure weapon damage bonuses.. also see this reddit post for a few possible applications

From what I can tell, here's the logic behind it's workings currently: If you're still, (or very close to still - '< 0.25'*), Unmoving Defense kicks in and starts growing. If you're not still, it does not change (Doesn't grow, but also doesn't get removed). When you transition from moving to stationary, it starts growing again but from zero (Resets since it's starting the effect gain from the skill again from scratch). If the effect didn't overwright itself when it started again, I believe it would just be a case of sitting still for 15 seconds every time you spawn or get revived, then keep the effect for the whole match. As it stands, that's only possible if you in theory keep moving the entire match (in practice impossible to keep your speed < 0.25* due to landing animations etc) In reality, you probably always have a very very tiny amount of bonus DR at minimum even with the briefest of stops, but until the amount per second is boosted this won't be enough to help at all. In practical use, it's currently a 'Hunker then use it to briefly rush' skill. You hold still for a bit, then you can make a move for the next piece of cover with the bonus DR intact until you get there or get stumbled/land hard etc. Or just hunker forever in one spot and use the DR to protect from the first Wraith hit that stumbles you Either way, need the values fixed to be higher than 1/s before it's a practical choice ingame. * 0.25 magic character speedcheck number from game files, untested what this translates to ingame. My guess would be moving slower than 0.25 biometers per second counts as still enough for this skill. Interestingly, (though likely impossible to ever trigger) there's also an upper cap for some reason - Once you go faster than 9999 you can also start gaining Unmoving Defense, though you'd probably be transferred out of strike team duty and into research for personal FTL and/or ship deflector shielding development at that point . Combo damage (guessing not) Head/Crit shots? last time we checked it applied to : weapon damage WD (additive), melee damage MD, Power Damage (biotic, tech & combat) - impact/sustained & DOT - the ones that can be boosted by power bonuses (ex: fortification explosion & invasion virulence explosions or the electric barrier DOT ticks cannot be enhanced via power bonuses). There was also no double dip +weapon damage and +weakspot damage also ..
