Does Shield Reset from Support Systems trigger only when you are missing shields or just any time you use a tech power at least 10s from the last time you benefited from Shield Reset? I've seen it start with 30% left.

I've seen it start with 30% left. I am mostly concerned with whether it is wasted when characters already have 100% shields. Getting back 70% of your shields seems like a good thing. Getting back 0% and then waiting 10s just to get 0% again seems horribly wasteful. You're not gonna be at 100% that often. But if you want to wait using your powers, just because the shield recharge would be wasted otherwise, go ahead.

The ED and ShieldBoost chars have the perks in their "fitness" trees that can enhance the amount of shield healed by Energy Drain/ Shield Boost. I'm messing with a plan for a char builder calculator (stats/gun /melee/power damage) app (probably never gonna happen) and I needed how those things work ..

I'm messing with a plan for a char builder calculator (stats/gun /melee/power damage) app (probably never gonna happen) and I needed how those things work .. I'll soon start to integrate those calculations into the MEA MP Builder. I've been keeping a trace for all your formulas for that, but I'll definitely need your help to validate I don't mess up somewhere. I've been lagging behind a bit with the MEA MP Builder for many reasons: - Time has been more or less a luxury lately
- Data has been slowly dripping in, I still don't have the Weapon Mods data yet
- Data structure has changed quite a few times since the start of the project
- SQL Server has been acting up for a whole month (now "solved")
- It's one thing to dump the data, it's a whole different thing to present it nicely
- I've been bashing my head on how to calculate all the stats without having to code every evolution manually
Next week I'll start the Weapon Mods section. I hope I'll get the data soon, but there's nothing preventing me from building the structure. Once it's done, I start on the stats calculations. I know people want to calculate stats, I simply had to prioritize displaying a complete build first...

My "project" is even more ambitious than yours (calculate nr of shots/weakspot shots to kill) and such ..it is easy to be ambitious with projects you know will never see the light of day .. Your project on the other hand might make it far enough ..

I am a firm believer in iterative and incremental development.
Release the parts of your tool that work and then work on the next part. If the only thing your tool can do is calculate weapon weights and passive weight allowances to show you how much you can carry, great, release it. If the next thing it can do is show your health/shields, great, release it. Iterate your way up to the mega cool 'do everything' tool, piece by piece.

My "project" is even more ambitious than yours (calculate nr of shots/weakspot shots to kill) and such ..it is easy to be ambitious with projects you know will never see the light of day .. Your project on the other hand might make it far enough .. Yeah, people usually make the assumption things are simple. But when you get to it, when you need to actually code it, you see plenty of things that don't work the way you'd like. Complications arise from left and right and it's easy to get discouraged. Divide and conquer is my motto in these things. I've set my goals, I've put on paper tasks and subtasks I need to achieve, I've check which are more urgent, which are required to keep the site afloat, etc. Nobody wants to see my Trello for keeping track of all those tasks!!! Let's just say it's huge with a capital H... There have been other hurdle nobody thinks about like the use of HTTPS, managing affiliate ads, building the whole site structure since it's not just the MEA MP Builder, creating the database, error handling that sends me emails, sending emails for signups and passwords, etc. Everything was made from scratch, getting the images, getting the data, everything but the theme. Then add optimizing the site for page speed which includes reduce image size, compression, deferring scripts, lazy-loading images, load with just the critical CSS first, etc. Let's just say the amount of time required for the whole project is more than most people played MEA, even in the top 100... Divide and conquer my friend, that's the only way we get to move forward with these types of project! Ambitious is a good word for it P.S. I also forgot the whole "create a new virtual machine on Amazon and learn how to deploy a website", which is a considerable undertaking for someone that never did that before...

I'm more of a whole picture guy - but in this case "the picture" turns out to be a bit too big .. You can't paint a picture all at once. One pencilstroke at a time is fine.

I have no idea what the actionable intelligence is regarding the shield testing. 1. One can increase the amount of shield hitpoints healed by (list of abilities ) by investing in fitness +MaxShields amount and/or using cyclonic booster and/or Biotic link and/or Overcharge) 2. The ED and ShieldBoost chars have the perks in their "fitness" trees that can enhance the amount of shield healed by Energy Drain/ Shield Boost. I'm messing with a plan for a char builder calculator (stats/gun /melee/power damage) app (probably never gonna happen) and I needed how those things work .. How about shield powered lance and Kineticist Ascencion? Do they take a percentage of base shields or current maximum?

I'll soon start to integrate those calculations into the MEA MP Builder. man I'm no programmer but ATM that's not even the issue .. Just putting it all on paper in a simple way that make sense turned out significantly more difficult that I originally though it would be .. But seriously - when you have time for it - chat me up on discord or something so we can try and make sense of this mess together ... correct, BUT - aegis starts with 10k hitpoints and after ~1 second its health gets reset to above .. Imagine the Aegis has a 1 second long 10K hitpoint shieldgate that is triggered when you activate Backslash. (can eat pretty much anything on gold during that 1 second )

Maybe it's because I play off-host most of the time, but I still can't be sure where the weakpoints are on some enemies, that are not humanoid in shape. Are there possibly a chart or a picture denoting them on such enemies? The problem with being off host is mostly that the hitboxes aren't really where they are being rendered on your screen (when enemies in motion anyway). I tried to base most of this on SP experience where uncertainty should be minimized, but even then there is one little oddity... Assembler - kind of weird, I have problems with this one even in SP... I think it is supposed to be the eye and neck portion, I shot them in the eye in SP but had better luck in MP with the "neck." The eye part is inset a bit on the model. Observer - the "eye" where it will fire its beam at you. Nullifier - it is the glowing pod hanging down from the center, then the front part of the glowing "ribbon" running to the legs. Destroyer - the cannon port that opens when it is charging and firing the cannon. Turrets are also a weak point. Hydra - The laser targeting pod, and then the back tank-like pod. The tank part is a lot easier to hit from the back. Targeting pod has limited health and isn't a wp after it is destroyed. The Remnant images came from posts the art team made. I borrowed the Hydra image from one of the faqs. Thanks to peddroelm for reminding me about the Destroyer Turrets.
