Remember, the ancient Sha-Brytol dwarves in Descent had "high tech" machine guns.

They are repeating crossbows which is ancient tech in real life (invented around 400-200 BC in China). Although, the Sha-Brytol design is closer to a polybolos (invented around 300 BC in Greece).

I am referring to desert areas. I want to see no more desert exploration for a long time. Andromeda made sure of that.

That's some speculation right there. If I were to speculate I'd rather wonder if there was maps for further expansions of these moons.

Experts: concept artists, character modelers, tech animation, tech art(shader wizards), animators and programmers all collaborate to bring a character to life in game. Even the "simple stuff" like gear still takes a lot of love.

Seeing art stuff, especially character art on Twitter, ArtStation and beyond gave me a lot of appreciation for artists in video games (Be it concept art, modeling, shading, etc...).

+++1 You can keep both Eos and Kadara, but Elaaden was awesome. I don’t know how much time I spent just dune buggying around or taking selfies with the Remnant sand worm.

This is the type of stuff I always look at, too. I love diving into these details even more than shooting/burning/destroying stuff, which is saying quite a bit.
