Nah, I think we're simply at a point that Anthem is a confirmed thing set to release in 2 months, while we just got a bone thrown about something the devs stayed relatively silent for YEARS.
It's going to pass through. There's only so much we can squeeze from that short trailer , the larger gamer audience has probably long moved on and I don't think we're going to get much other than unofficial hints about DA until after Anthem launches.

GAWD... this is exactly why I think conspiracy theories, especially those that are about some worldwide efforts to cover up some dirty secrets, are ultimately silly. People will babble everything out the moment they know something!!

It's to distinguish it from the "VIP" demo that comes out before and that is not open, even though apart from the bonus items, it's the same demo.

I have nothing against Anthem other than its live service, so staying online for me is hit and miss but on the other foot, fingers crossed etc. DA and ME games should be easier to produce (and this is where the crossed fingers comes in) if and only if because of Anthem they do away with MP in those games. here's hopeing.

Well, not every online only game is live service but every live service game is online only, isn't it?
I don't know every game out there. Even if it were so it doesn't mean that it has to be always online. You would have to go online to update and most likely every once in a while for some drm (like Adobes subscription for instance) but since you have the full game client side offline play should be possible. 😎

Brian with a C a couple of quick questions about the VIP demo and the Demo following on Feb if i may good sir. Is it hours limited? or progress? can i tool about in Freeplay after reaching progress block if so. will progress in this demo carry forward?
